Chapter 22: Watching

Saturday night, Rain and Gama followed Dewun and Bening to the Mall to watch the cinema. They look happy. Rain and Gama chose to buy food and drinks before entering. While Dewun and Bening queue tickets.

"We got the best seats" Dewun said, showing the four tickets he was holding.

The girl was happy because she got a row of seats so she could sit next to each other. The four of them went in to watch movies with genres according to their age.

Bening took a seat next to Rain, making the guy sit between the girl and her boyfriend, while Gama sat next to Dewun.

As the lights turned off and the room darkened, Rain grabbed Dew's fingers, he slightly leaned his head towards his girlfriend, while Dew himself smiled and let Rain clutch his left palm, while coolly eating the popcorn he held with his right hand.

Rain occasionally picked up Dewon's popcorn, with a constant smile and an unmoved look from the cinema screen. Gama who realized that Rain and Dew joined hands was not surprised, because he already knew his cousin was indeed dating the girl he was appraising.

Bening occasionally glanced at Rain who was sitting next to him, a small smile appeared on the girl's face. I was thinking of offering her Rain Popcorn.

"Rain, popcorn."

Rain who was surprised then turned his head and only reviewed a smile, rejecting Bening's offer subtly.

Bening just nodded and refocused on the movie that was playing, the girl still did not know that Rain and Dew relationship was more than just friends.

"I went to the bathroom too." Rain came along and left Dewun and Gama.

Seeing Rain grab Dew's hand again, Gama felt awkward and chose to lie by saying there was something he wanted to buy but forgot, Gama also chose to re-enter the Mall and asked Rain to go home first if he did not want to wait for him.

"I'll be waiting for you" cried Rain.

After Gama's back was unseen, Rain looked back at Dew who had hidden his feelings, pretending not to see what Bening was doing.

"It's clear we don't know if we're dating until he acts like that to me, when are you going to tell him?" asked Rain while tidying up the slightly messy strands of Dew hair.

"Tomorrow," replied Dew hesitated a little.

"Don't just because he's your brother and then you give in to him, I'm not an item so I don't want you to suddenly give me to Bening."

"What the hell is Rain?" The dew frowned, he felt dislike for Rain's words just now.

"I'm just afraid you're giving up" said Rain softly.

Rain smiled and stroked the girl's cheek. "Oh yeah, do you still want to go to the beach tomorrow?"

Dew looked at Rain with bubbling cheeks, timidly the girl nodded her head.
