Chapter 60: The Last Report

Suddenly a report was heard in Polus. It surprised the Crewmates, including Red who was rolling himself with his blanket to give a warm feeling.

Red came out of the room and ran to the source of the report. Black and Brown were in the lab.

They arrived simultaneously at O2 which is the origin of the report's voice. It looks like Lime is standing behind them while holding her megaphone. They were more surprised by the corpse that was near Lime's feet.

"Blue!" Red shouted and ran to him. But Black held him back.

"Lime, didn't you do it?" Ask Black.

Lime turned around, "Do you think?" With a restrained tone.

"Then who?" Black asked as he let Red approach Blue.

"I don't know myself either. I happened to be going to O2 and accidentally found Blue's body" replied Lime.

They all fell silent. While Red checks Blue's condition to make sure if his friend is okay, but his heartbeat seems to stop when he finds out there is no breath from Blue.

Blue seems to have died long enough. Can be seen from the blood spots on the floor that began to dry. Red was speechless. Her chest felt tight seeing her friend end up like that.

Although the two of them often quarreled, but never once did hatred appear in his heart. He still considers Blue as his friend.

Lime, Brown and Black were still staring at Red who started to shed tears. Until Brown realized something.

"Wait, where are Pink and Yellow?" Brown surprised them.

Lime and Red realize that the two women are not here. But in contrast to Black, he realized that something had gone wrong.

"Find them!" Black then ran away from the place.

Brown, Lime and Red who were still haunted also ran away from the place. They let Blue's body lie there for a while because from Black's earlier exclamation, something must have gone wrong.

Meanwhile, Pink and Yellow were in storage. Yellow heard the voice of the report and he actually wanted to go to the source of the report. But Pink held him back and said that the four of them were enough.

Eventually, he began to feel unsettled. Rugel sat down by his feet. He also felt Yellow's inner uneasiness.

"Pink, I think we should go to them. I began to feel uneasy," Yellow said as he stood up agitatedly.

Pink, who was standing on her back to Yellow, just turned her head, "No need."

Yellow who couldn't stand it just stood up while holding Rugel and walked towards the door. Suddenly the door closed in front of him.

Yellow was surprised, "What?"

"Don't I tell you there's no need to go?" Pink's previously soft and warm voice suddenly became cold and heavy.

Yellow's body stiffened. He turned his head slowly towards Pink who was also looking at him while smiling sinisterly. Her lips felt dry and her throat was stuck. Rugel who was in his arms growled and jumped to attack Pink. But Pink immediately hit Rugel to hit the wall hard.

"Rabelle!" Yellow cried worried but Pink stood up to him who was about to approach Rugel.

"You should be worried about yourself, Yellow," Pink said with a smile. His stomach began to bring out increasingly wide scratches.

Yellow choked, "You."

Pink's stomach opened wide into a mouth full of teeth then she jumped towards Yellow who could do nothing.

CRUST!

Meanwhile...

Red, Lime, Brown and Black split up in search of Pink and Yellow. Red instantly forgot her pain and now her heart was filled with worry.

They have entered the laboratory, communication, weapons, and office. But I couldn't find them both.

"Black, I didn't find them. Is it possible they're in the specimen room?!" Lime asked with a shoutout to Black who was around the lab with Brown.

"Wait, the storage is locked!" Exclaim Red.

Red came to the door and tried to open it. But it could not because his body was still weak. Black stepped forward and helped Red open the door.

The door opened and they were shocked by what they saw. Yellow's body was lying near the door with his skull shattered and his brain loosened out of place. Near the wall some distance away from Yellow, an unconscious Rugel was seen.

Red came in and approached Rugel to make sure he was still breathing. After checking, Red heaved a sigh of relief as it turned out that Rugel had only fainted.

"He just fainted," Red said as he hugged Rugel.

Lime dyed, "Where's Pink?"

Brown is looking for. While Black stared at the vent hole around the hole there was blood.

"Hahaha...!!!" They were all shocked to hear that deafening sound of laughter. They came out and approached the source of the sound that came from around the lava crater.

Upon arriving, they find Pink standing on her back with her hands covered in blood. He looked over while licking the blood on his hands. A smile fell on his lips when he saw the shocked faces of the people he had been tricking all along.

"Pink, how brave of you. Why are you doing this?!" Snapped Lime with anger.

"Pink? You still think I'm her?" The originally soft Pink voice became heavy and cold.

His eyes turned red and his stomach began to give rise to sharp teeth. Tentacles emerged from his back.

Suddenly, Black ran towards Pink. The three of them were surprised.

"Black!" Brown.

But Black did not hear Brown's screams. His heart was already filled with hatred and wanted revenge on Pink for what happened to White.

He jumped and attacked Pink. While Pink only avoids every attack launched by Black. This was not the first time he had fought with Black, so he would not react too much.

Red, Lime and Brown are still in place. Lime ran to help Black. But Red held his hand.

Lime turned her head, "Why are you holding me back? Don't you want me to help Black?"

"Didn't you hear a strange noise?" Red asked back.

Hearing that, Brown and Lime shut up and began sharpening their hearing. There was a rumbling sound that was getting bigger and bigger. Suddenly the ground where they stood also shook like there was an earthquake. Black who was fighting felt that way too.

Pink smiled broadly, "They've come!"

One of his tentacles moved quickly and then hit Black until he was thrown towards his friends. Lime managed to capture his body before he was thrown further.

"What's that?" Black asked while standing up.

Pink laughed a lot. Suddenly from all the holes in Polus, so many tentacles appeared and the ground began to crack.

"That's with the ruler of Polus, man!!!"

The ground shattered and from within the ground appeared monstrous monsters with sharp teeth and red eyes. They all stared fiercely at the three Crewmates.

The three of them were surprised. They saw the original form of the ruler of Polus and now they are trapped. There's no way out.
