Chapter 36: Chaos in Mira HQ

After passing thousands of steps, the guards finally reached the 111th floor of Mira HQ. But because the lights are off, they have to turn on the flashlight and have to be extra careful.

The 111th floor is empty. Everyone has gone down. But there are some people who are trapped in the elevator because the lights are off. The engineers did not dare to go up to repair the lights for fear of being attacked by Impostor.

Meanwhile, the three men had already walked out of the cafeteria. They highlighted the flashlight in all directions to look for Cyan, but the result was nil.

"Dead this light makes me worry, how about we go to the office to turn on the lights?" White's advice while keeping an eye on the situation.

"We don't have time, it could be that Cyan has managed to escape before the lights turn on" Black said.

"Look!" Red suddenly exclaimed, cutting off Black and White's conversation.

"What's wrong?" Black and White approached Red to see what he was pointing at.

"Blood trail. Earlier when Cyan came out of the cafeteria, he stepped on a pool of blood. This must be his trail" Red explained.

Black also recalled, "You're right. We follow this blood, but we must be careful. It could be a trap."

What Black said was true. At that time Cyan hid in one of the turns and would attack anyone who came. He prepared with a gun and a tongue that had come out.

The three of them were lured with that blood. Red is walking ahead. Cyan noticed their arrival and prepared to attack.

Just as Red was approaching the turn where Cyan was hiding, Cyan came out of hiding and shot Red.

But Black, who had been alert from the start, immediately pulled Red until the bullet only scratched Red's cheek.

White advanced and attacked Cyan with besiegers. Cyan who did not have time to dodge was finally hit by the attack until it was pushed back.

Right then and there, the guards came and immediately joined the three people. Some of those carrying the taser gun immediately attacked Cyan with that thing. But Cyan managed to dodge and immediately ran away from them.

"Don't let him escape!" It was Gregory who led the party.

They chased Cyan who was trying to escape. There was a vent there. Cyan ran towards the vent. But as he approached the vent, Lime emerged from the vent and pushed it to the floor.

It turned out that Lime was already on guard inside the vent from the moment the lights went out. She lurks Cyan from inside the vent and crawls quickly to ambush him.

Lime pressed Cyan's head against the floor and one hand held Cyan's hand holding the weapon. Cyan keeps hitting Lime with his free hand. But Lime didn't punch that punch at all. He was determined to keep Cyan in custody until the party arrived.

Cyan is not out of his mind. His mouth opened and his tongue moved to stab Lime. Lime who saw that reflexively released her grip on Cyan.

That chance Cyan used to beat Lime back. Then he immediately left the place.

"Bw*al!" Umpat Lime then shouted to the group. While he himself immediately chased after Cyan while carrying his English key.

The group heard Lime's voice then immediately ran towards her. When they meet, they soon join Lime.

"Spread! We'll surround him" White ordered.

"You who?" One of the guards asked. He did not take orders from anyone else except Gregory.

"He's Captain White," Red replied annoyedly.

"Follow his orders" Gregory continued.

The group split into three small groups. Two groups tried to get ahead of Cyan and directed him to one of the places where there was already another group.

Cyan was lured and right after he entered the place, the door was closed and the guards there immediately rushed at him. There was no vent in that place, so Cyan would not be able to escape.

Cyan was surprised to see the raid, but he quickly managed to get a hold of himself and attacked back. Several guards were killed by a counterattack from Cyan.

Cyan pointed his gun at Black, but Red appeared behind him and hit him on the head. Cyan was surprised then turned around and strangled Red.

Gregory attacked Cyan until he let go of his strangulation and retreated. Red's body hit the floor hard.

"You okay?" Gregory asked without looking.

"I'm fine, thank you very much" replied Red then stood up and prepared to fight again.

Meanwhile, White was busy looking for an opening to snatch Cyan. He already had a plan and now he just had to find the right time to execute the plan.

Suddenly, Black's body floated towards White due to Cyan's attack. White surprised. He did not have time to dodge and eventually Black's body hit him.

"Black!" Red screeched and threw the bucket at Cyan, but he repelled it.

Black rubbed his head which hit White's face. Then he sat down and helped White to sit down as well. Suddenly blood flowed out from White's already red nose.

"You got a plan?" Black asked instead of asking about White's condition.

White wiped the blood, "Yes."

White explains his plan to Black, then he goes to Red. He pulls Red away from the fight to tell White's plan.

"I'll do it" said Red.

Red went to prepare something needed in that plan. Black helped the guards to buy time. And White is trying to recuperate.

After a while, Red returned with a bucket of water. Black and White who saw Red's arrival immediately got ready.

"Everyone!" Screeches Black. The guards immediately moved away from Cyan.

"Express hot water!" Red yelled and then doused Cyan with the water.

Cyan's body was soaked. He was shocked and immediately realized their purpose. White advanced and shot Cyan with a taser gun.

But suddenly Cyan ran towards Red and directly hugged him. Red did not escape and was captured by Cyan. Right then and there, high-voltage electricity flowed through their bodies.

"That's...!!!" Erang they both.

"White, release!" Black panicked.

White was surprised and let go of the thing. Both of their bodies fell to the floor. Black wants to get to Red, but Lime's body is taken into custody.

"Don't, there's a puddle of water. You can also be electrocuted," forbid Lime.

Gregory ordered some men to lift the bodies of the two men in special uniforms. While the rest immediately went to call the engineer so that the lamp was immediately repaired.

Not long after, the lights came back on and Cyan was taken to the laboratory. Red was treated at Medbay. They'll check Cyan's body.
