CHAPTER 19

Nisa's been living in Adit's apartment for two days. Since his departure from home, no one has been looking for him. Sadness implied on the look of Nisa's face, at a time like this it was the closest people who most hate her. It was too late to regret the situation, Nisa resigned to whatever she would receive. Because the mistake Nisa made was very fatal.

“Sweetie why are you crying?” adit asked, looking at Nisa's face.

“I don't want to continue like this Dit, I can accept if Dandy and his parents hate me, abuse me, insult me even whatever it is. But my parents, I don't want Dit.” Nisa's cry broke.

“Whoever that includes both your parents can't hurt you anymore. I will marry you even if there is or without the blessing of your parents.”

“Do not like that, I've been wrong so far, at least I should get blessing and sorry from them.”

“I understand baby, I'll do anything for our son. You want us to go to your house again?” ask Adit.

“Will they accept me?” Nisa was doubtful.

“If today they refuse, we come again afterwards, until they forgive us.”

“Yes you were right,” replied Nisa.

A thrilling encounter, Nisa decides to meet her lover with Adit. They were already in a cafe waiting for Dandy to arrive. Adit urged Nisa to quickly break off the relationship with her lover. Nisa holds Adit's hand, really her heart is mixed, she will break the relationship that she has long lived. Long enough to wait, Dandy arrived in a hurry.

“Sweetie been a while huh?” said Dandy still walking towards Nisa's place. With a reflex Nisa let go of her hand grip. Adit swerved sharply towards Nisa.

“Sorry to keep you waiting,” said Dandy while kissing Nisa's forehead. Adit who witnessed that, really felt uncomfortable. Now they are sitting three.

“Nothing,” replied Nisa.

“How are you? I think Nisa herself, it turns out there is you too,” Dandy told Adit. Dandy does know if his girlfriend has been friends with Adit for a long time.

“Yes, I came with him. And also there are things we want to tell you,” said Adit full of emphasis.

“But we are more than that, more than a friend,” replied Adit. The atmosphere began to shake.

“Close your mouth.” Dandy began to raise his tone.

“Explain everything, I don't need your friend's bullshit. Lift your head and talk!!” Adit yelled at Nisa.

“He was right, I lied to you. We have been in a relationship for a long time. I can't continue this relationship. And I can't continue the engagement with you. Sorry I can't hold back anymore. Don't blame me, we better stop now before we get too far.” Finally Nisa bluntly after all this time.

“You realize what you're saying, three more days of our engagement and you don't want to continue the engagement? you know how much my mom craved all this, she was busy preparing for everything. So this guy was your excuse all along? you should have told me earlier.”

“I know I was wrong, I don't want to hurt our parents. I can't say it.”

“You think now everything will be fine? no one's hurt now? that's what you mean?”

“I don't need your explanation, you men don't have brains. You can't afford to find a woman, even someone who already has a lover? really low quality yourself.” Dandy clutching Adit's collar. He wants to blow her. But Nisa grabbed it.

“Please let go of Dandy, I know you're not that kind of person.” Dandy's hand took off his grip.

“Nisa enough, release your hands!! this means nothing to me,” Adit said.

“What's my fault? where have I been lacking all this time to you?” Dandy turned to Nisa.

“You are good, very good, there is no lack of anything in you, only I am not good for you. I'm sorry, that's all I can say, and I'm sorry to your parents. Thank you for all this time for me. Please forgive me.” Nisa's tears are already dripping. Adit pulls Nisa's arm and takes her out.

Dandy was so frustrated, the day he feared had come. His suspicions bore fruit, Dandy had actually been investigating Nisa lately, and he knew the truth. But he brushed it off considering his engagement was soon and he didn't want to lose Nisa.

“I gave you a chance because I thought you were bored with me, I thought it was just for a moment and you would come back to me again. Turns out I can't have you anymore.” Ruffling her hair, involuntarily a clear circle drenched her cheeks. It was so painful that he felt, and he had to be ready to tell his parents. How disappointed and embarrassed they were.

Nisa sobs in the car, Adit just shuts up, and lets Nisa cry, maybe Nisa takes time. It's only natural that Dandy has always been kind and attentive to him. But his heart did not compromise on all that, if it could indeed choose the best for what to hurt people for what to bring trouble.

After feeling calm, they decided to go to Nisa's house. No less frightening. Nisa's worries are rising, this will hurt her even more. She tries to hide her pregnancy from Dandy, but she can't hide it from her parents. They may not have given permission to marry. But the content of Nisa will not be hidden much longer. No choice, they'll keep telling Nisa's parents.

Arriving at the door, Nisa is reluctant to enter. How could he be afraid to enter his own home. His body trembled violently, what kind of treatment would he receive later on. The shadow of his father's anger had filled his brain, it felt like he wanted to cancel that intention, but sooner or later it would not change anything.

Nisa enters her house, only her mother is there.

“Why stay there bring your friend in!” said mother.

“Ma where's papa?” ask Nisa

“Not yet to go home, maybe soon papa arrived. Here sit with your friend, mama tell aunt to make drinks.”

“Thank you aunt,” said Adit, he was no less nervous mixed with fear. But he should be able to do this.

“Why is your face so pale? you ill? mom will call doctor.”

"No ma. Nisa will wait for papa ma"

“You have a problem with your lecture?” Nisa shakes.

“Tell mama clearly what is it?”

“Iya, later also mama know.”

The deep disappointment Nisa would inflict upon them now, in an instant this situation would change.
