Chapter 77: The Surprise

I shook my head in response that I was not okay, still with anxious feelings I glanced towards the man.

"He's not dead, maybe just fainted" Prince Zio said after checking his pulse.

"But I'll call the doctor, make sure he stays in that position," said Prince Zio then left, I just nodded as I grabbed the man's hand which felt very warm.

I sighed, "It's a good thing he's not dead," I muttered.

Suddenly something surprised me, his hand clasped me tightly, and he immediately opened his closed eyes.

I widened my eyes in surprise then she smiled faintly and casually switched positions from sleeping to sitting.

"Thank God you're okay, miss," she said gently.

I nodded briefly while looking at him in wonder, how could he just sit down?! He just got hurt.
