Chapter 36: The Sudden Farewell

"You two follow me." The king's orders were on me and Natte. We followed him without denying or asking a word.

After about 15 minutes of walking we reached the center of the main park which is very spacious. I turned my gaze while clucking in admiration, only this time I was actually able to enter the main park.

"Please sit down, little lady." He invited us to sit in the beautiful seats that were already available there.

"Alexa, I'm just following a small request from someone who asked me to take you to meet him one last time." Said the king who even made me and Natte look at each other throwing confused looks. While the king looked like he ignored our attitude and was just busy with his own daydreams.

"Before that I want to give you news whether you think suffering or like, which is clear you are not considered a family Kethzie but only as an adopted child, that's why we broke off your engagement relationship with prince Zio who was already established before." The words of King Dylan instantly stunned me.

I don't know what I'm feeling right now, I don't seem to be sad if something like that happens to me, but why on the other hand I feel a needle now stabbing in my heart.

Prince uh I mean the king of Dylan stroked my black mane gently. He smiled sadly at me, but he looked completely helpless.

Natte cleared her throat all of a sudden and I glanced at her, but all I saw was that she just kept quiet while getting her clothes fixed.

"So where is Prince Zio now? Didn't she want to meet me one last time because we were forbidden to meet after we were no longer engaged?" I asked King Dylan.

King Dylan smiled then shook his head. "The one who will meet you is not him, but someone else who seems close enough to you."

I let out a long breath, then who wants to meet me? Is he a very close friend to the king and me? So the king wants to pick me up to bring us together?

When I was busy with my own thoughts suddenly someone greeted me from the side but I did not turn my head because I did not realize it.

"Leca. I'm right next to you and I'm sorry I'm not your fiancee Prince Zio." He said with a disappointed tone.

"All right, I'll leave you." King Dylan said while pulling a little Natte's shirt to take her away, but Natte insisted on staying here with me. Finally the king left us alone. Me, Natte and two guys who seem to be my seniors.

I was just silent but actually shocked and I began to pay attention to the details of the face of someone who was now in front of me. He was so handsome that I would faint if he kept looking at me with such a deep gaze.

"Who are you?" I asked to open a conversation between us and successfully made Natte immediately pat her own eel.

The prince came back with his super handsome serious face like an upss tray. "Why didn't you tell me you had a fiancee?"asked the Prince coldly.

I just turned around trying to remember why I didn't tell him who Natte said he was a close friend of mine.

"But the engagement was called off" said Erdwan, who seemed to understand his master's attitude.

Prince Shun took a deep breath and then reached for my small hand. He recited some spells that I did not understand the language, then a light that dazzled my eyes after a few seconds appeared a black mark in the form of a strange patterned engraving on my wrist, so is he.

"From now on you and I are really bound, if you are in danger then this sign in my hand will glow red, I will save you right then and there, even though I wasn't by your side I would be able to directly be near you back then, and from now on something will replace me to take care of you in the meantime, because I know a reckless kid like you would do a lot of bad things and then get in trouble, Leca."

Natte instead turned her face away while clucking in annoyance.

"I just did what I was supposed to do, you can't hug unless you're married!"Get Erdwan again.

Suddenly a woman of their age came to Prince Shun while patting him on the shoulder. Ahh this can't be allowed! Why do I suddenly feel dislike.

"GRRRRR!" I growled at the woman and prepared to pounce on her. He can't touch mine even if it's just his nose!.

"Why did that kid bite my hand let go or I threw you!" He screamed while trying to take my bite off.

I don't want to take it off Rasain, you fucking woman! How dare you touch my Prince!

Just like he said earlier, I was forcefully thrown by him, he was so strong that I really seemed to be floating in the air. "I'm flying...?" I muttered while amazed.

"What are you doing?! Don't you dare throw it like that, otherwise I'll throw you to Pluto!" He said while saying with his face. Meanwhile, the woman just rolled her eyes.

I can't keep quiet, I have to help the Prince get rid of the evil woman and attack her. "Down me Prince, I'll help you get rid of that dandy granny." I said seriously.

Prince Shun lowered his body slightly to equalize our height. She pinched her nose until it felt like it was gone from its place while I nagged her because it felt really sick.

"I'm going to go, take care of yourself, don't eat too much, don't be lazy, don't look for too much trouble and don't forget me for sure." Prince Shun said with a big smile.

"Whatever happens you have to believe in your own abilities, how others want to believe that you alone do not believe, I am sure you are the one who is destined to be great even beyond me." The baby then stepped away from me.

He continued to step back away from me with a small smile. I looked at her with teary eyes, I was eager to run towards her and hold her back. But I'll just be a selfish person who curbs his freedom. I could only shed tears while trying to stay strong in front of them and return her smile.

"Prince you'd better walk forward, not retreat." Said Erdwan who had been knocked down.

After that a colorful, circular light appeared in front of us. The three of them went inside and just disappeared.

"Until you meet Alexa for five more years until that day comes never stop trying, show that you are great even without me by your side." The Prince said as he waved his hand towards us, he was seen smiling widely even though it was the last day we met this time.

"Prince.." I said as I approached the circle of light.

But the moment I touched it the light disappeared completely along with their existence that simply vanished from my sight.

My body was limp and now stuck on the ground, I really feel like I have lost someone precious right now. Natte held onto my shoulder to encourage me not to cry here.

"It's okay 5 years is not a long time." he whispered in my ear.

Not a long time? Even a week apart has felt like years to me. How can he understand my feelings. Missing someone for that long is not easy for me. Moreover, I must always be by his side to ensure his safety so that I can protect him. But I can't..
