"If you have a problem with your job, tell me. Maybe I can help." Dorothy tried to get him to talk.
"I'm really okay. By the way I'm full, can I go first, because there's something I have to do?" Cato got up from his seat and left the dining table. Meredith and her husband could only let the man go, while Dorothy could only remain silent without a word as she watched her husband move on. The further away they are from where they are.
Not like he used to, he thought. Dorothy turned her attention to Joe and Derek sitting right next to her. His two sons were engrossed in stories while occasionally chuckling as they told a funny story to each other.
"Joe..." Dorothy called her first child full of tenderness. There was something she had to make sure about her husband, and the only person she could ask about this was Joe. After all Joe and Derek are the first to go home and meet Cato before the rest of the family.
"Yes, ma?"
"Do you know why papa?"
"Papa?" Joe frowned. He was confused by Dorothy's question, because as he remembered Cato was not okay. He just acted like never before. "Indeed.. papa why?"
"Papa was acting strange, not as usual. Do you know why? You and Derek were the first ones to meet papa before mom and the others. Has he been acting strange?" Dorothy tried to clarify her question so that Joe would understand where the conversation was going. Joe was silent for a moment. His forehead was wrinkled, a sign that the boy was thinking. Joe tries to recall whether his father's attitude is really strange or not as Dorothy said.
"No. As I recall, Papa wasn't acting strange. When I got home with Derek, papa was fine. Even my dad behaved as usual. Papa works and after that has lunch with Lucia. As soon as we got home, we went straight to play with Lucia."
"After we got home and we played with Lucia, her mom and dad Lucia came home after that goodbye!" derek's sudden reply gave an explanation.
"Oh right! Papa said goodbye, he said he wanted to meet his friend. Miles and Martin in their lab. Papa said it's been a long time since papa met them after papa's last project in Manchester. I just remembered, after that papa's attitude became a little strange." Joe chimed.
Does this matter have anything to do with them? Dorothy.

Cato's attention shifted when she heard Lucia's voice whining inside the house. As soon as he turned to the sound, from the window, he could see the three-year-old trying to be calmed by his parents who tried to invite him to sleep. Meanwhile, Lucia seems to refuse because she still wants to play with Derek and Joe.
Again when he saw Lucia, Cato remembered Claire's figure. Moreover, the thing that made him keep thinking of him was because when the last hearing in Indonesia, he, after the trial, the woman carried her granddaughter so happily because she had been declared victorious over all the inheritance rights left by her late first brother.
