Jean and Daniel walked down the corridor until they finally arrived at the door of their study. As soon as they arrived, they immediately pushed open the door and stepped in.
"Ethan!" call those who in an instant make the man switch focus towards the direction of the sound.
"Jean, Daniel? Why are you guys home?" Ethan looked at the two comrades with surprised looks. Their arrival was really sudden, even though a few hours ago they were still busy working on a mission.
"Where might we just shut up while we hear something's going on about Lucy!" Jean approached the man with Daniel at his side.
"W-what? So you heard it?"
"Don't pretend not to know. You also realize we heard you say, right?" Daniel looked at her full of search.
"Why didn't you explain everything to us?" Jean chimed.
Ethan was silent for a moment before the man finally let out a long sigh.
"I don't want to explain everything to you. But I just don't want you to worry about Lucy and Aland. Besides, sir. Nic didn't give you permission to tell you this either. But.., I changed my mind."
"Huh?" Jean and Daniel frowned.
"I think you should know too. Because maybe this will be a way for us to help Lucy and Aland."
"What do you mean?"
"Explain the right thing! Don't be half."
"Something bad happened to Lucy and Aland. As I was watching them, I suddenly realized something. The ship that was carrying them suddenly moved so fast, after which I lost connection with them which made me unable to contact them until now."
"really?" Jean and Daniel widened their eyes.
Ethan is weak.
"So from that, I was very worried. I'm afraid something's happened to them."
"It is fitting that I have not calmed down since then" Jean murmured. Daniel nodded, he also felt the same way that Jean felt.
"Then why are we silent? We need to get out and help them! Can't you track where they are?"
"I've checked again, and they're lost in the waters far enough from where they last left off."
"Why should you shut up? What are you waiting for? Let's go and help them!" Urged Daniel.
"I can't do anything. Nico forbade me to leave, he said that he would find another agent to fly to Indonesia and look for him."
"Can't! Even if the people who have to help them are me and Daniel! We're Lucy's best friend, and we're the ones who worry about her most." Jean clenched her hand.
"Then from that, I think you guys might be able to try to persuade sir. Nic."
"We'll try to talk about this with sir. Nic." Daniel moved from his seat.
"I'll help you talk, too. There's no way I'm going to shut up while I know something's going on with my best friend! Let's go Daniel!" Jean moved out of her place with Daniel. They had to talk about this to Nico and ask that the man give them permission to go to Indonesia and catch up with Lucy.
Jean and Daniel will not rest easy. Especially after they heard something happened to their best friend. Lucy.
I hope they manage to persuade Nico…
