"Mr Dave has long since become independent, if you don't come I can do it myself, too" explained Emeline.

"Is it so hard to say thank you?" dave asked him to give him the apple he had cut.

"It's not hard, thank you," the pseudo gaze from Emeline with a pushy face held back the cry.

For a long time he had not felt noticed, by surviving alone. Now a man comes, not to love but to make a covenant.

'Will it end the same again? It's enough that I've been living and being hurt, the past I can't change, but at least I can keep what I have now, ' murmured inner Emeline.

"What are you thinking? You crying?" dave asked confused, when he saw Emeline just bowed quietly.

"No, I just-"

"Mama!" call Rara interrupt Emeline's words.

"Rara how many times have you said, don't interrupt adult conversations."

"I'm sorry, but Theo came to apologize" said Rara, and Emeline looked at her father.

Something unexpected, he was met by Theo back. The one who hit him this time, was really Theo that Emeline knew.

Emeline can't look away at Theo. Her lips slightly opened, wanting Emeline to shout and directly hug him. Instantly it was just an illusion from Emeline, while behind Theo was a woman hugging him.

Dave, who realizes that Emeline is looking at Theo, closes Emeline's eyes with his hand. "What do you need? I told you, I'm here you have no business anymore" Dave said coldly.

"Eh, didn't Mr Dave I just wanted to apologize, with your wife?" theo said as if he had not seen Emeline.

A sentence, making Emeline's disappointment increase. Theo whom he knew did have the same face as the person in front of him, but he was very different. Authoritarian and hard attitude like lost, replaced with soft and polite speech that he said.

"Not a wife, but maybe soon. You've just come back but you've been causing a lot of trouble" Dave said with an annoyed face.

"Mr Dave, Theo didn't mean it that way. He had just returned, and did not realize that the path he was using was one-way" said a woman who had hugged Theo from behind.

It was Melisa, Dave's neighbor before he moved in. They have a son, Clara. A new life that Theo wakes up, without him or the children he cares for.

"Sorry Mrs Camelion, you are seriously injured because of Theo's negligence" Melisa said.

"Eh-h! Tha-that... No problem," replied Emeline nervously continuing to lower her head.

As much as possible Emeline avoided Theo's gaze. He doesn't want to remember the past when Theo promises to get back together again.

"She's shy Melisa, please keep your distance from her" Dave said, distancing Melisa and Theo.

"Like your taste, it's appropriate that you always reject me" Melisa grumbled. "Theo, apologize quickly, and we're leaving now. I think I'm heartbroken again" he continued.

"Yes, alright," Theo replied quickly as he walked over to Emeline. "Mrs Emeline yes, sorry for the incident this morning, you must have been in such a hurry ji-"

"Saudah don't need Mr. Theo, you better go Melisa's been waiting too long," Dave's sergeant immediately became a barrier between Theo and Emeline.

"Yes, but what about Emeline?"

"He's my partner, I'm also here you're not needed anymore" Dave replied with a cold look at Theo.

Theo was frozen, unlike anything Emeline knew. Theo used to be though in a corner, he always looked forward bravely. For now, like he's afraid to be upset with Dave.

"Alright, take care of yourself," replied Theo bowing his head in a salute.

Theo walked for a moment, but his steps came to a halt before he got out. Looking at Emeline who was sitting there, a wistful gaze was like hope towards Theo.

Emeline flinched when she heard Theo ask such a question. I think he wanted to say that Raffyn and Darrel were waiting for him.

Again, Dave won Emeline's hand and kept staring at her flat.

"No," Emeline replied with the most of her face.

"Ep... Well, I think we've met before. Yeah, if I had found you sooner, would I have made you more comfortable than this stiff widower?" a serious question was replaced with a joke by Theo before he actually left.

Indoor, Emeline looked at the corridor outside. Theo and Melisa seem to be talking with jokes. Like the perfect family. 'He's already moving on with his life, ' Emeline muttered with a wry smile.

"Have you met Theo Wlise before?" ask Dave.

"No."

"Your face says you know each other" Dave said in disbelief.

"Really, I don't know him. He also doesn't seem to know me, why I know him."

Dave returns silent, with the most Emeline's face avoiding him. The look on Dave's face was in disbelief, especially with one eyebrow he raised.

"If you don't have a relationship it's better than having feelings. Don't think about liking someone who already has a partner" Dave said, turning Emeline's face to look at him.

"Do you understand that, Miss Camelion?" continue Dave.

"Papa and mama were making out," said Rara who suddenly dropped everything.

Rara from earlier was just silent, looking at the situation. When lonely, she becomes a bully when Dave and Emeline want to be more intimate.

"N-no! Why are you here anyway?!" dave asked Rara and sat her in a chair.

"Rara is tired of uncle, Rara wants to see mama" he replied in a plain tone.

"Mama's okay baby, papa Rara is taking good care of mama," Emeline replied in interspersion with a smile.

One of the things Emeline has to do is give Dave a good image. A code from Dave, makes Emeline understand if what he's doing is right.

"Is that really mom?" rara asked reassuringly in disbelief.

"Yes right, papa Rara is actually very good to mama," he replied back.

"But papa likes to get angry at Rara."

A phrase made Dave instantly speechless.

"What happened, did you really have an accident?" ask Raffyn who just got back picked up by the driver who sent Dave.

"Mother, why? What the hell's going on? Is it because of that guy again?" tanya Darrel pointed towards Dave.

"Hey! Even I brought Emeline here," Dave said with Darrel's gaze.

They looked at each other, revealing dislike and a gripping aura between them.

"But, mama we saw" Raffyn had not yet finished his speech, his shoulders were patted by Darrel.

"There's something we want to talk about, and of course without outsiders."
