A HEART THAT IS STILL TRAPPED IN THE PAST

A HEART THAT IS STILL TRAPPED IN THE PAST
We Are The Same Exuberant

On the day after the first class ended, our class had the arrival of members of OSIS. It is not about security checks and school rules adherence, they come to distribute sheets for activities outside the school.

Registration for new members of some exkul has been opened. In the first year, Indira and I registered exkul Badminton, now registration reopen, we as members who still want to continue to have to fill in the form.

Daren turned his body around while watching as he was, I'm sure boys would definitely prefer to go to a football club or basketball.

I felt the look in his eyes, I lifted my head and looked back at his eyes, I felt his eyes were like a living diamond, I think last night he had a beautiful dream.

I asked him, “What's up?”

“No, Exchule what are you following?” Daren asked me back.

“We join exkul Badminton, well at least just for fun, is Indira?” I glanced at Indira who had started filling out the form.

“They really like to waste paper, why do we still have to fill?” Indira nags herself.

“If you don't fill in, how do you become a member?” Kris looked over and responded to Indira's words.

“I mean, why should we also charge if already a member?”  Indira did not care about the surroundings so she was not aware that the level elder brother of our club was already standing next to her.

The conscious me started to silently glance at Indira, and pressed the surface of her hand skin slowly, she glanced at me and frowned, becoming confused herself and saying to me; “Hey, what's up? Don't interrupt my work.”

I gave her an eye gesture saying that she was next to Leon, she took a glance at me and laughed like she was innocent.

“Good Indira, later this afternoon come with me to check on the new members," after speaking like that, Brother Leon immediately left us, leaving us, maybe my eyes are wrong because I see Brother Leon smiling at me before moving away.

Huh, what was that?

I shut up and thought in a daze, then I felt Indira pinch my cheek to make me throw my mind away. When I came to my senses, I accidentally saw the twinkle in Daren's eyes as if it had disappeared, withering like an unwatered plant.

Daren's face became expressionless, then I heard him ask: “Are you guys very close to that person?”

“Not really, he helped us throughout the first year yesterday,” Indira replied.

“No, actually just helped a little, not a lot,” I added a little.

“Good, in the future do not get close to him.”

“Hah, what?”

“No, forget just what I just said.”

Whatdoes thatmean?

Hey, come on don't play riddles with me, I really feel like people these days are really weird. What made Daren suddenly not excited? Does he have a conflict with Leon's brother?

Ah, nevermind. Thinking about it makes me dizzy myself. In the second break, Indira invited me to snack in the cafeteria, he said there was a new menu. Coincidentally because it was already lunchtime so I just followed it.

Our school canteen is divided into two locations. One is close to the library and another is near the laboratory, just behind class VIII. 9 and in front of class VIII.10

Indira gave me a box of rice, when I saw it I was silent for a moment.Honestly I had a small trauma with yellow rice. When I was in elementary school, my uncle was late to pick me up so I bought a yellow rice.

I ate it with my friend, when I got home I immediately had stomach problems, I vomited all my stomach contents, the midwife who checked me said that I had food poisoning. Since then I have never eaten yellow rice.

“Hey, what are you looking at? Come fetch. There are still many who queue at the back,” Indira weighs on me.

I said honestly, “Is this safe? I was poisoned with yellow rice in elementary school.”

“Of course, look at the package labeled. After all, it is possible that the use of the material is wrong, so it affects your stomach.”

I picked up a box of yellow rice and followed it to eat. Uh, it's obvious I can't spend it. No, I don't think this time it's because of my little trauma.

Yellow rice is too spicy, I am not the type of person who loves spicy, more precisely I can eat it if in a certain portion, such as one chili, or mixed with tomatoes.

“You didn't spend it?” Indira turned to look at my plate which was still quite a lot.

I nodded my head and said, ”I don't like spicy food.”

“Oh, don't you like to eat spicy? Though I like, Well although not much.”

I was a little surprised when I heard Daren's voice, why is this person here? Their usual place is the cafeteria near the library, because there a group of boys who like to eat Indomie soto.

After he spoke, Daren went after some of his friends and made me pause for a moment. I really don't think wrong, today he is a bit strange indeed.

The last lesson is math, learning lasts until one o'clock in the afternoon. After school, Indira and I went straight home just to get ready and went back to school at exactly 14:20

I saw Indira was ready with a map and a pen. When he noticed my presence, his hand waved at me and asked me to do his job.

”Sister Leon really has no heart..” Indira started to nag.

I chuckled, smiled and said to her; “If you want to nag someone, do it on her shoulder blade instead of in front of her.”

“Hah? What do you mean?”

Yoke!

Uh, I think Indira's head hurts. Brother Leon had just knocked his head with his fist, smiled back and said; “You should have noticed around you, little brother. It's rude to nag the older one.”

“Uh, sister don't you have any important business?”

“Ya, I've finished it.”

“Then...”.

“No, during this day you have to take my place. I'm aoan replacing your place.”

“Hah?” indira and I looked at each other, what does it mean to replace the task?

“Sister, you might not want to play right?” ask Indira.

Brother Leon said confidently and showed off his arm muscles, “What's wrong? I also need sports..”

“Come, Rafaella today I will be your partner.”

“Uhm..”.

I had not finished answering the moment when Daren suddenly appeared in front of me, pulling my hand so that my position moved behind him, I heard him say; “I will be his partner.”

Huh huh?

I was made to gawk, his arrival alone had surprised me. Shouldn't he be playing basketball or soccer? Why is he here too? I decided to turn to Indira asking for an explanation through my eyes.

Then I heard Indira beekata, “This person has officially become a member of Badminton exkul, today.”

I still can't believe, “..”
