A HEART THAT IS STILL TRAPPED IN THE PAST

A HEART THAT IS STILL TRAPPED IN THE PAST
Bakwan Cafe

I repeatedly took turns staring at Siomay and Daren. Daren smiled still looking at me, then I took over the siomay prick from his hand and ate it myself.

I saw his eyes begin to change, his smile began to disappear. I don't know what she thinks, so I just smile happily at her, “Thank you, the siomay is delicious.”

“Of course, it's because he himself who

,” Kris spent his last siomay.

“Eh, is that correct?” the situation became quite silent, I then felt my hand being grasped by it.

“Already, Let's go the bell has rung tuh.”

“Yes, it reads, and you start looking for opportunities.”

“Shut! Come, go.”

“Em,” He changed his Call again.

I looked at the hand that kept holding my hand, why does it feel warm and comfortable enough? Daren's hand is a little bigger than mine,

he was 14 years old a few weeks ago.

He pulled my hand to follow her until we arrived at the class. Daren opened the classroom door, then we entered. The classmate noticed us, a bunch of boys in the back whistling like sparrows.

“Is there any good news?”

“Are you guys together?”

“Hey, give us confirmation, Daren!”

“Shut!” baritone Daren's voice came out. I was silent, still standing beside her looking at our hands, Daren had not yet let go of my hand. I tapped on his shoulder so he could look at me.

“What's up?” Daren asked as if she was unaware of something.

I smiled at him then said; “I want to sit down, so can you please let go of my hand? Classmates noticed us from earlier.”

Daren turned towards our hands, then he pegged for a moment, looked at our hands for a long time and then decided to turn to me, “Em?”

“I'll get away, but don't expect you to get away from me.”

“What does that mean? Are we stuck like we're using glue? So it can't be missed?”

“You still have a lot to learn Rafael, one day you will understand what I mean, ” Daren smiled, then took off his hand and then his hand touched my head.

“Sit down, soon the class will start.” I obeyed like a little puppy, went to sit in a chair.

I fell silent, thinking back to what had just happened. A warm feeling still felt in my palm, I looked at Daren's back, I saw her chatting with her friend.

I don't know, I think I like it when he smiles. Her face looked brighter, and it was like it wanted to make me smile as well, but I was as good as I could to hold her back.

What's with my heart area that's pulsing incoherently?

I shook my head, my mind was impossible. It must have been just a coincidence, like when I saw my sister laughing happily playing with her dolls, I liked her.

Yoke!

I raised my gaze, the hand was still on my forehead, from this close distance I saw his eyes, our gaze met and it happened a while before he took his day off my forehead.

“Don't daydream, what do you think?” Daren asked, her voice smooth and slightly different.

“I... ah, no I don't think of anything.”

Daren raised one eyebrow at me, again. I was astonished, her hand raised again and touched the top of my head again, then her lips lifted into a thin smile.

“Other times if you fantasize again I might just do something to you.”

“Hah? What?” I was stunned again and slightly retreated from his reach.

“Nothing,” After saying so, Daren turned to look in front of the board.

The teacher taught about 2 hours more, then continued with other lessons, until about 13:15, the last class was finished. Indira and I sat down for a while to wait for the class to be a little quiet so as not to jostle.

As usual, we were immediately greeted by Brother Leon, with a absent book and pen in his hand. Today, Mr. Leon uses glasses, with a fit face, after sports.

We go in and collect our things at one table. Then began the warm-up, before finally pairing up to become Badminton opponents.

The game lasts approximately 45 minutes, until 15.00 Wita.

“Come, take a short break,” Indira invites me, we then sit on the terrace of the teacher room adjacent to our belongings.

“Interest in eating?” I asked, while Fanning my face.

Indira nodded, “Bakwan across the school, how?”

“Oil but, may.”

Across my school there are many substations, as well as a convenience store and a small cafe, where usually children will hang out. The most popular special menu is Bakwan.

Bakwan Cafe is not thin and precisely thick, and large with a fairly cheap price of Rp1,500, -/seeds. With spicy-sweet sauce, sometimes if there is time we always stop there after the class is over.

When we wanted to leave, my shoulder was held by someone so it held your motion. I looked over, finding Kris and Daren, who had just finished playing.

“Are you home? Where are you going?”  Kris asked.

“Cafe across, we're about to go there, ” I replied.

“Can we come?” ask again.

“Why should you ask? Come, hurry. I'm hungry to know, ” This time Indira, who instantly pulled my hand to follow her.

Daren and Kris followed behind us, for a glance I saw her lips raised again earlier. Upon our arrival at the small cafe across from the school, the owner of the cafe welcomed us.

The owner of the Cafe was about 30 years old, one child, her husband worked as a teacher at one of the Elementary Schools in our city, We sat at one of the tables with four chairs right next to the window.

After waiting for a while, two dishes of bakwan finally appeared on our table, along with a special sauce belonging to Ibu Arum did not forget to drink our four orange juice.

“Goodbye,” say all of us. Because we only enjoyed the afternoon snack, we enjoyed it while chatting ria.

The clock then shows at four o'clock in the afternoon, “After meals home?” ask Daren.

“Iya, then where else? Home we know far,” Indira replied.

“Iya right, if it is too late to go home I can get an interview from family,” I added.

“After this, just come with me Ella. The day is also getting late, maybe the angkot in front of the Church is no longer there.”

“Didn't your house direction be different?” Ask Daren.

“Yes, but the path remains the same. It's just that I ride two angkot, the first Angkot I ride will pass Ella's house, ” replied Kris.

Daren nodded in understanding, then said: “Then take care of him for me.”

“Of course, I'll keep him for you.”

Prak!!

The sound of a blow on the table was heard, making the three of us turn to Indira. Indira's face seemed to be careless with her mouth still chewing on the bakwan, then she drank and said;

“Continue your chat, let's just say I'm not here. Next time don't take them both, Ella”

“Meanwhile looking for a crush there,” taunts Kris who then yells in annoyance as Indira kicks her leg.

“As you have it,” reply Indira.

“Stop you two, don't fuss about it we all don't have a crush here.”

All being silent, Daren turned to another place, Kris slapped her own face and Indira sighed then shook her head: “You are really insensitive, Ella. I feel sorry for someone.”

“Hah, What!”
