Towards the Wedding

Handoko invites Hana to enter her study in Ares. Hana opened the two large gray door leaves with doubt and doubt made her legs slip and she fell down on the floor right when the two big door leaves wide open.

Handoko is surprised to see Hana fall down, she immediately approaches Hana, bowing to help Hana to stand up, but Ares's shrill voice, "Don't touch my woman, Han!" discourage Handoko's intention to help Hana up.

Hana then looked ahead and saw Ares Laco standing very elegantly behind a very large, dashing and very expensive looking table.

Hana steps up to the super expensive desk and sits in the single chair in front of Ares' desk and immediately emboldens herself to ask "Who do you mean by your woman?"

Ares raised his index finger and pointed it at Hana without saying a word and he kept looking at Hana.

Hana felt strange and fragile as she watched Ares continue to look at her.He became misbehaved and her tongue suddenly became a mute. Several times gulped and wetted his lips to expel his nervousness.

"I think I have a right to call you my woman right now" Ares continued to look at Hana.

Hana could only sigh deeply and had no intention of discussing further about it. Because there is a more important discussion that he must convey to Ares Laco than the name of my woman.

Ares pulled back his index finger and he put both hands on his desk and asked, "Why do you want to see me?"

Hana placed the sheet of paper she held on her desk and pushed it right under Ares's eyes.

"What's this?" Ares took a quick glance to look at the few sheets of paper that were in front of him then quickly he looked back at Hana.

"I should have asked, sir. What does all that mean? Why is Graha Laco able to pay off all of my Grandma's medical expenses?"

"Because you're my woman" Ares said in a light tone without burden.

"You have a lot of money and are handsome. Why did you choose me for you to nudge on? There are still many women who are much prettier than me out there but, why are you interrupting my life?!" Hana began to raise her tone in annoyance.

Handoko spontaneously stepped forward to reprimand Hana but, Ares's hand immediately lifted to hold Handoko's step. Handoko stopped her steps and returned to standing upright in a perfect manner behind Hana's chair.

"You dare to yell at me? But, I forgive you for praising me handsome just now"

Hana took a deep breath to dampen her emotions that began to rise to the crown of her head. Then he stared intently at Ares and asked, "Why Master?"

"Therefore you are" said Ares casually.

Hana wanted to scream and strangle Ares right then and there if he had greater courage and power than Ares Laco.

"I'll pay for it all in installments. I've started working tomorrow at the cafe ......"

"Star Cafe at Prince Hotel? I'll close the cafe if you're reckless working there" Ares said with a sharp look at Hana.

"You can even close that cafe?" Hana asked with a astonished face.

"Of course you can. Prince Hotel under the control of Graha Laco" said Ares without taking his eyes off Hana.

"Can you not keep looking at me, sir?"

"Can't" Ares said in a flat tone.

"alright. I'll borrow the money to my friend to pay..........."

Hana shuddered in horror at Ares Laco's words. Then he said, "I beg you not to push Deo away!"

"You love her?" ares asked with a face and a very cold tone as cold as the north pole.

"I don't have time to let my heart fall in love" Hana said.

"Then why do you care so much about him?"

"Because, Deo has helped me a lot. Because, Deo's my best friend"

"Friend? Hmh! The woman and man could not possibly be friends" Ares said as he unsheathed his glare at Hana.

Hana let out a long breath of practice saying, "Then what can I do so that I can escape from you, Mister?"

"I told you before, right? I always get what I want"

"What should I do, sir?" Hana finally said in a tone of weakness and despair because all the efforts he would do had been blocked by Ares Laco. Hana also does not want if until Deo and his family are exposed to Ares' anger because of him.

"Sign this contract!" Ares thrusts a map in front of Hana.

"If I sign this contract, can I be free from you?"

Ares chuckled amusedly, "Read it all!"

Hana immediately closed the map and said, "I don't want to live on one roof with a man without marriage"

"But I don't intend to get married. I never got married either"

"Then forget it, sir, I'll find a job out there that has nothing to do with Ares Laco" Hana got up and turned around. Ares immediately shouted, "Stop!"

Hana stopped her steps and looked back at Ares.

Ares felt challenged to have Hana completely right then and there when he accepted Hana's rejection and only then did he receive a rejection from a woman. Then Ares said, "Alright. We're getting married right now but, you have to sign the contract first"

Hana suddenly regretted her own words and felt hesitant to sign the contract.

"I have agreed to your request. We're getting married right now but, you have to sign that contract. If you refuse and leave me then I will be cruel to you and to the people around you" Ares glared and his tone turned very deep and firm.

Hana shuddered in horror and without saying much more, she asked for a pen to Ares. Ares gives his pen to Hana and Hana signs the contract without reading and studying it any more.

"Good! Now we're going to the civil registry to register our marriage"

"But I don't bring my letters"

"Handoko's gone to take care of it"

Hana looked back and sure enough, Handoko had already disappeared from her study.

"Let's go now!" Ares pulls Hana by the wrist and Hana can only step in Ares's footsteps.
