A Butterfly That Can'T Fly

A Butterfly That Can'T Fly
Ancient druids 4

The bustling atmosphere of the ancient Druid market made them feel a little happy, living in a foreign world they had never thought before turned out to be very difficult. They were lucky that the ancient Druids were willing to help them, otherwise Alurra had no idea what would happen to him.

It might have been a long time since he had been won by Divs and had his heart taken away. The uncle of the carpenter who had always interacted with him turned out to be an ancient Druid, this even proves that the ancient Druids had predicted this long before Alurra came to the land of Elves.

"Sister, the cake here is not tasty. Very hard, even though there are many grandmothers and grandparents here, how can they eat this hard food?"

Marco's words made Alurra immediately close his mouth, this child is very original to talk. What if someone hears her words and gets hurt? Even if the cake wasn't tasty, he wouldn't have to say it in a crowded place like this.

"Marco, let's just buy some candy. Come on!"

Fortunately the little man nodded, Iron chuckled at the interaction between the two of them, Marco who always conveyed what he felt, and Alurra who felt bad.

They went to the confectionery shop at the end of the market, it was quiet, very quiet instead. There was no one there, but the 'open' writing on the door and the sound of the music showed that the store was not an abandoned store.

They opened the store door and entered the store, no one, but the sweets were neatly arranged on the shelves. Iron went in first to make sure that there was nothing strange then followed by Alurra who took Marco's hand.

Suddenly Alurra's shoulder was held by someone who made her scream in surprise, "What are you looking for? Here there are many sweets from which it tastes sweet salty, sweet bitter, sweet sour, and very sweet"

An old woman with several toothless teeth in front of her, her hair curly and her body thin. Iron had already let out his fire and pulled Alurra's hand in alarm, the old woman retreated when she saw the fire in Iron's hand, but the smile on her lips did not fade.

Seeing that this old lady was not a bad person and seemed to be the Owner of this shop, Alurra let out a sigh of relief, Marco who was in his arms peeked at what happened. Alurra held onto Iron's shoulder telling him to put out the fire.

"Sorry to have surprised the customer, I'm just a little excited because someone came to the store"

Alurra scrunched his forehead, is this shop always quiet like this usually? To the extent that this old lady was so excited just by seeing the incoming customers?

"Is this shop usually quiet? Why?"

The shopkeeper lowered his head then walked forward pointing towards the various sweets located on the wall, he spread his hands like he wanted to make a speech.

"They're very boring parents who don't like sweets, the ancient Druids had very few small children because they were difficult to get offspring. This is what's happening to my shop right now"

The old woman began to cry as much as she could, saying that the old man did not understand how sweet the sweet taste was, Alurra wanted to laugh if only the store owner did not cry. Sweetness is of course sweet. After a few minutes, he finally stopped and allowed us to take a look.

"Sister, why is that grandma?" the small whisper coming from Marco made Alurra chuckle then rub his head gently. Alurra just said that he didn't know either.

"Let's buy something and go home"

They ended up choosing candy with colorful wrappers and chocolate apples that were on the top shelf, "Good choice, they're all delicious, they're sweet"

They leave the confectionery shop after paying for some Druid coins, and they finally decide to go home because Marco is exhausted and asks Alurra for a sling, but Iron quickly carried him for fear that Alurra was too exhausted.

"If you want to ask me to hold a sling, not the pretty sister"

Marco pouted and bit Iron on the shoulder, only to be bitten and let Marco do whatever he wanted, as if the bite had no effect on him at all.

"Basic of a child"

That was all he said, he looked at Marco with a look of disdain. They finally arrived at their residence 'now' it was afternoon and they needed to clean themselves up. Marco came down from Iron's sling, he immediately turned his head unwilling to look at Iron, like a sulking man.

Alurra only chuckled while shaking his head at the behavior of two different men of this age, Marco who was still a child and Iron who was childish was very harmonious.

"Rest Al, tomorrow we will train again. Don't get tired"

Alurra nodded, she went to her room and cleaned herself up, then lay down for a while on the bed. How long he tried to fall asleep but did not succeed, the door to his room was suddenly opened and the figure of Marco with red eyes entered his room.

His eyes were red and watery, then tears came down from there. Marco walked towards Alurra, climbed on Alurra's bed and wept in his arms. Alurra who was confused by what happened could only rub Marco's back.

"Why baby? Are you having nightmares?"

Marco nodded, only nodding. He did not want to raise his face at all to look at Alurra, his embrace of Alurra getting stronger.

"Mother" the murmur made Alurra understand, it seemed like this little man dreamed of his mother. Alurra looked at Marco with sadness, guilt not also lost in him, even if he managed to save Marco, he still did not manage to save Emma.

"I'm sorry my dear brother Marco"

After a long cry, Marco fell asleep in Alurra's arms, but Alurra could not sleep. Even by midnight he could not sleep. Either premonition or what, Iron suddenly entered Alurra's room and placed a cup of warm tea on the table near her mattress, making Alurra smile. Iron is always reliable.

"Can't sleep yet? I'll keep you up late"

Very sweet, even sweeter than the sweets in the old lady's shop earlier. Iron's treatment of her keeps her heart from beating, Iron's sensitivity makes her fall again and again on him.

"Thank you"

"Stop saying thank you, Al. I'm glad I did"

Alurra smiled at Iron's words, since the beginning Iron always did something for him as if it was his duty, he did not want to accept any thanks from him. Luckily, he was lucky that Iron sneaked into his house back then.
