Adel whose consciousness felt at the tip of the horn was gathering remnants of his strength like Ultraman whose lights were flickering red sign that his strength would soon dim. Where David walk really cepet again, people if angry emang not say anything but the feeling is incredible. The atmosphere around the guy changed instantly.
"so much so my worms, gini aja cook already want to fall..." His murmur was encouraging himself. Adel who could not stand it anymore was finally sitting limp by leaning his body on the wall, slowly he closed his eyes to save the remaining energy because only in this way he was able to maintain his consciousness.
The emotion that overcame that logic made David return to his usual self, ignoring him with cold eyes as if everyone and objects around him were useless and invisible. Let alone ants, elephants will be ignored. The arrogant fellow slammed the door of the hotel room in annoyance and threw a sharp eye towards the door to ready to explode. The explosion was contained because the target he wanted was not found there. He quickly walked over and opened the door, but it remained the same. Adel was not found at the door or the lobby looked empty and uninhabited.
As David thinks, Adel melaeikan himself to avoid his current anger and quickly he returns to catch Adel to teach a lesson worth what he has done. With his long legs, David walked very quickly like he was chasing a bus. As he turned, he saw the figure of Adel sitting by hugging his legs on the lobby floor. David stopped his steps right in front of Adel and crossed both of his hands with a sharp eye gaze holding back the anger.
"Do you think you can escape?" he said with restraining emotions and a cold tone that was capable of piercing sharply.
Adel who was already feeling weak was raising his head to hear the voice he was very familiar with, sure enough....
the man who is now her husband is now standing in front of her, although Adel raises his head but he does not see clearly the face of David. How the man's current and audible expression was just his tone of voice that Adel believed David was currently holding back his anger.
Adel stood by holding onto the wall and staggered, his eyes faint even though his ears were good enough to hear. This time the two senses did not work well together as usual.
"Sorry_sorry..." Adel supported her by leaning back and trying to smile, "the anger delayed first" she said before falling and everything darkened.
David quickly propped up Adel's tiny body that just fell right in his arms, his face so pale that there was almost no sign of life.
"Adel?" whispered David anxious, his anger was immediately lost when he saw the situation of Adel who fell helplessly. With a face like this, it was impossible for Adel to act. With just one move David moved Adel's body and carried it on his back. With half a run he headed for the hotel room as fast as he could, lucky this time the lobby was empty so that David could run freely without disturbing the comfort of other visitors. there was not the slightest movement that indicated that Adel was in a state of unconsciousness at this time, even several times David called names and shook Adel's body.
*****
The first night is quite tragic, most couples spend their first night romantically and lovingly but in contrast to the one David experienced. Spent the first night waiting for the woman he had married to wake up.
Acute stomach acid and also lack of nutritional intake made Adel lose consciousness. It is quite sad to hear all that, considering that he as a husband starved his wife to unconscious like this, the husband who can afford anything in this world but the most devastating is the fact that his wife fainted from hunger.
"I'm sorry." he said softly, that's all Adel could say. A pending apology that Adel inexplicably says even though he knows that this is not his wish and fault.
David awoke from his daydream and found Adel looking at him with weak eyes helpless, his face was still as pale as before even though now the eyes were open.
"sorry," repeated Adel again for not getting an answer from David, the man just stared at him expressionlessly which Adel could clearly catch. Adel could not read what David was feeling at the moment.
David felt increasingly guilty hearing what Adel said when he opened his eyes the first time. Without speaking, he picked up the cup of water he had prepared. Adel's lips looked dry, he was suffering from dehydration and that was all reason enough to torture and blame himself.
"Drink." He said by taking a straw and pointing to Adel's lips slowly, although David blamed himself but his face and voice still remained as usual.
Adel said he did not want to argue under these circumstances because it is impossible to win and there is no advantage whatsoever that he can.
"Still sick?" david said by touching Adel's stomach covered with a soft and warm blanket.
Adel shook his head slowly, though still in pain but Adel did not want to be a spoiled woman who asked for attention or mercy from others because of illness.
"I'll heat the porridge." He said he stood up, but Adel had to eat as soon as possible to recover and get his strength again.
Adel held David's hand as he stood to prevent him from leaving.
"Don't be angry, Adel is really sorry" he said again because of David's indifferent reaction to him, saying, now Adel knows how intimidating David's character is with just his eyes and voice without doing anything.
David closed his eyes, enough of all the regrets and all night he blamed himself. Even Adel always apologized for something he didn't do. But what to say, David is not a person who can make sweet words or make small talk. Although in his heart he was eager to do, for some reason his mouth seemed to be locked tightly. Just a slow nod he did before going to heat the porridge for Adel without being able to bring out what was on his mind at the moment.
