ZIFANA (Treason for Your Betrayal!)
Zifana-41

..."Every problem must have a way out and every difficulty there must be ease afterwards. Enjoy all the process and live according to the flow that God has outlined for us." ...

Joshua left everything to the police until those jerks were punished accordingly. Now, it's time for them to focus on Zifana who just woke up after a day of keeping their eyes closed.

"My stomach hurts so much" Zifana whispered as she wanted to sit down.

"Darling, you don't move too much." Dyah, the mother, held her daughter back from waking because her sewing wounds had not dried.

"I forgot, Ma. Did Leli really stab me? I thought it was all just a nightmare" Zifana asked softly.

"Yes, but they're all in jail now. Let them all take responsibility for their actions" Dyah replied. He rubbed the top of Zifana's head gently. His face that was filled with worry now looked calmer.

So too with the others. They all breathed a sigh of relief because of Zifana who had come to a realization.

Feeling unable to talk to Zifana, Jason said goodbye to go home first. He promised to come back tomorrow. Zifana's family also agreed and thanked Jason for helping so much.

Jason did not go straight home. He first went to Rere's apartment to meet his best friend. Just say a word of thanks because Rere has also helped him a lot.

"Jason, have you come? How is Zifana? Is he conscious? Is the wound so bad?" Rere nodded with many questions.

Jason took a deep breath. "Yes, he's conscious and the wound isn't too bad either because it's lucky the knife didn't hit his internal organs."

Hearing Jason's reply, Rere exhaled a sigh of relief. "Thank God. I'm so worried about him."

"If you're worried, why aren't you in the hospital waiting for him?" Jason flung his body and clucked in annoyance.

"meaning? Where are you going? Are you going back abroad?" jason asked impatiently.

Rere shook his head weakly. "No, I'm going somewhere far away. I don't want to tell anyone, including you. I just want to live quietly with the person who loves me."

"meaning?" Jason asked again. Still can't digest Rere's words well.

"Son, now I just realized that it's better to be loved than to love. Because loving let alone clapping one hand is very painful. I want to be honest with you." Rere got up and walked over to the window. Staring at the scenery from there to just eliminate his nervousness.

"Rre ...." Jason got up and stood behind Rere. "Thank you for helping me all this time. Tell me everything honestly so I can repay all your kindness."

"You don't have to thank me. I did it sincerely. Now, I'm sure you'll be happy living together with Miss Zifana. So, I chose to retreat," Rere said softly.

"I don't want you to go, Re! We're best friends and I don't want to be away from you. You should know, Re, that whenever you're gonna be my best friend" Jason said.

Rere closed his eyes. Letting clear circles flow from both corners of his eyes. There was no reason to stay because Jason had already confirmed that they would only be friends. Never more than that.

Perhaps, this was the time Rere had to give up on his own feelings.

"Son, I love someone. In fact, love him so much. Whatever I do and sacrifice to see her happy. Whatever it is though my own heart must be hurt. However, it was time for me to give up because I realized I was not the expected self. Our relationship will forever be our only friend." Rere rubbed those clear hairs.

He didn't want to cry, but he couldn't. Those tears seemed to be a sign that her heart was in pain right now.

"Re, does that mean you ...."

"Yes. I love you, Son." Rere interrupted Jason's words quickly.
