I once asked myself whether I refused or accepted the appearance of my biological parents. If they were not a very poor family, would I have tried as hard as I am now to get away from them?

Admittedly, I was actually not noble, so when Yanti ran to me helplessly and said Herman was dead, I was worried about Cindy's view of me.

In this very moment, I recognized my vile heart. Before, I was sure in my heart that Vivi was a cunning girl who matre. Then me? Isn't that so too?

When I got in front of me, Yanti's bangs looked wet, her eyes were red, and her face was pale. He who was once mighty, now seemed entirely at his weak point.

When I ran out of the house and reached the garage door, Herman was already lying motionless inside.

Herman's dead, dead for no apparent reason.

Mom said she would keep it as secret from Dad as possible, then told me to get things done at home.

My gaze was fixed on him, “Why aren't you sad in the least? He's also the father who raised you.”

Vivi tilts her head and smiles while holding a glass of juice, “Then, are you sad?” Then, Vivi stood up and went upstairs, back to her room.

I went to the toilet on the first floor. Aunt Rani is cleaning the toilet, I pulled her arm, “Tante, there's something I want to ask.”

It was only known after being asked, Aunt Rani passed Vivi who finished running in the morning while delivering breakfast to the garage today. Vivi took the initiative to deliver it, so Aunt Rani gave her a tray, then went to the front yard to water the flowers in the garden. While watering the flowers, Aunt Rani saw Yanti washing her face and hands and feet in the pond in the garden. Aunt Rani prevents him, but Yanti does not hear him at all.

Therefore, there was only Vivi and Herman in the garage when Herman died, breakfast this morning also happened to be brought by Vivi.

I immediately went to check the CCTV footage, I thought Vivi should not have known that CCTV had been installed in the garage of the house.

CCTV footage showed Vivi entering the garage carrying a tray, feeding Herman a meal, even whispering in her ear. His whisper was not heard on the tape, but soon, Herman's face turned pale, he clenched his chest tightly and his body trembled violently. Vivi was shocked and ran out of the garage. In less than three minutes, Herman's body was completely stiff.

Looking at this absolute recording evidence, I pulled out the memory card and ran to Vivi's room with a trembling body. I kicked the door and yelled angrily, “You are the killer! You killed him! Vivi, are you crazy?”

Vivi who was in the room was surprised, she removed the beauty mask on her face and looked at me in wonder, “What are you talking about.”.

I raised the memory card in my hand, “Don't lie, you killed Herman. You fiddled with that breakfast, right?” I pulled his wrist, “Follow me to the police station, you just explain with the police.”

Vivi thrashed with all her might and chuckled, “What nonsense are you talking about? I killed people? Do I look like I dare to kill people?”

I screamed lost control, “There's CCTV in the garage! Everything's been recorded!”

Vivi's gaze slightly evaded, I thought she should be shocked by the existence of CCTV, not expecting there to be CCTV in all corners outside the house.

Vivi paused for a moment, then she said indifferently, “I didn't tamper with breakfast, nor did I kill people. You have CCTV footage, right? Then you take a good look, am I seen using a knife or a gun on the tape?”

Suddenly my heart was lethargic because of Vivi's calm and fearless attitude. Vivi was so calm, so calm that it looked like she wasn't lying at all. If Vivi doesn't poison her, then the CCTV footage isn't enough to prove she has killed people. While poisoned or not, the matter had to wait for the autopsy results.

Vivi smiles confidently, “Do an autopsy only if you don't believe.”

His words made me even more nervous, as if I was being played with by him at this moment.

Vivi walked two steps towards me, her voice was heard on the side of the ear, “As far as you believe it or not, but now you should be happy. Herman is dead, your opponent is reduced by one.”

I looked into his eyes in disbelief, “That's your father.”

Vivi shook her head, “Not, that's your father.”
