After introducing himself, the atmosphere was not as stiff as before. However, Erden was confused as to what kind of story to tell, if he were to be honest Jasmine would immediately throw him out again.

"I'm just a barista who has a cafe in town. Every day that I do it advances my business" Erden said. He wasn't lying because it was true that he was a barista but for his illegal business, he wouldn't say it.

"Since my childhood my life was on hard roads, I had no parents so I didn't know how to treat Rose properly" Erden recalled his past. He usually did not want to tell something like this because it would make his weak side visible.

Jasmine nodded her head in understanding, she began to understand the meaning of never eating at the dining table before.

"I know how you feel, if I'm told to choose maybe it's better that I don't have parents like you" Jasmine recalled her parents cheating on each other and ignoring her.

"If you don't want children, you should not give birth in the world because you don't ask to be born and hurt" she added, pointing to her inn as seen from the rooftop.

"His name is serenity, I made it for Rose and her future is there. I gave him affection as a father and mother all at once, I'm so happy so..."

Jasmine looked at Erden there. "Don't disturb our happiness, let's live each other's lives as before."

"You can come to Rose if you have your free time but not to take her away or separate us. Rose is the only one I have in this world," Jasmine hoped that what she had told me was conveyed to Erden.

Erden just kept quiet and listened to Jasmine without interrupting.

"Jase.." call her later.

Somehow hearing her name called made Jasmine's heart shake. To be honest, he had never been close to a man like this for a long time.

"Do you not want to ask, what does Rose want?" ask Erden.

Erden is not using Rose for now, he just thinks that Rose has everything she wants but why is she still looking for him.

"Whatever Rose wants, I'll give it to her unless the family's intact. I don't want to bear the burden like my parents used to do" Jasmine explained.

"Are you not selfish?" asked Erden not to like it.

"You're lonely and want a child no matter where you get the seed, you claim to be happy at the expense of Rose" Erden added.

"I didn't sacrifice Rose, she was happy all along living as my son. You don't know anything and you're just her biological father so don't interfere" Jasmine gets emotional.

And Erden got hooked as well, the man felt annoyed that Jasmine seemed to be doing the right thing.

"You've been involving me from the beginning so how could you say that I shouldn't interfere" Erden replied.

"I don't want this situation either but..." Erden grabbed Jasmine's hand then he placed it on her chest. "Do you feel it?"

Erden's heart was indeed pounding so fast, Jasmine could feel it.

"I experienced this when I remembered you that night, you know what it means?"

"Yes, you're a pervert!"
