20 Years Later...
From year to year everything has changed, as have the Jenni and Davin families who began to be filled with tension when the attitude of their only son, Kenan. It was cold and untouched.
It all started when Kenan was 13 years old when his friend almost became a victim of abuse. Back then, Kenan bravely fought the men with just a stick of wood.
Since then, Jenni and Davin again try to hide Kenan so as not to be sniffed by a group of mafia who are always looking for wild youth to be a member.
...****************...
"Where are you going?" Jenni immediately asked, when Kenan would set foot outside the house with an all-black appearance.
Not to forget, with a mask that Kenan always wears when going out of the house.
Kenan halted his steps, then walked backwards toward his mother who was standing not far behind him.
"I want to find some warm air in the city," he replied flatly as he continued his steps towards the exit.
"Always so!" Mumbled Jenni ketus.
Jenni came out to prevent Kenan from going to the city, but it was too late to see Kenan already riding his dirt bike by speeding through the hills that are very difficult to pass.
"When are we going to keep Kenan imprisoned by living in a place like this?"
A sudden voice shocked Jenni, Davin's voice.
"Of course, I'm afraid he'll fall into the black valley I once entered." Jenni's tone of voice seemed to contain a tinge of worry.
"You can see it for yourself, right? Where in the world power makes anyone obsessed and will do anything for the sake of that power!" Jenni continued while holding Davin's hand into the house.
The house, designed as if made of wood, looks beautiful, although it has been decades since Jenni was still not born. The house that became a silent witness to the attempt to eliminate Jenni's family.
"But if we keep quiet and hide here, won't that make the big question and curiosity in Kenan?" The question suddenly shot out of Davin's mouth.
"He also needs freedom, if he falls, then it is our duty to awaken him as his parents!" Resolute Davin who makes Jenni worried.
Until nightfall, where Kenan has returned from the city. Jenni is still thinking about Davin's words which are true.
"Kenan," called Jenni as Kenan would step into her room.
Kenan's steps stopped, then turned to approach Jenni.
"You want to live in the city?"
Kenan's eyes widened perfectly, he looked confused yet happy. Finally Kenan nodded.
"If we move there, will you promise me one thing?" Kenan nodded again.
"You'll listen to whatever mom and dad say!" One more nod, along with the accompaniment of a smile that Jenni had never seen again a dozen years from Kenan.
"Thank you, Mom!" Jenni nodded.
"Guard your things, tomorrow we'll leave very early! Let nothing be left behind!"
Without replying or giving another nod, Kenan immediately rushed into his room with a very happy smile. Jenni let out a long sigh, then smiled to herself.
I hope what I went through won't get Kenan through.
Jenni stood up from her seat, then turned around. When he turned around he was surprised to see Davin standing not far from him with a smile and nodded.
Not to forget, he gave a thumbs up to Jenni.
"Look, there will never be things that we will never want to do! Kenan will always keep his company and his world!"
