When Jonathan Meet Erin

When Jonathan Meet Erin
The Journey of Jihan

A smile was painted on Jonathan's lips though vague, although a bit long but Jihan was sure if his girlfriend would long improve. Their daily lives are normal and Jonathan has been able to adjust again to the surroundings.

Not only smiling but Jonathan can also laugh when he hears jokes or watch funny movies in theaters they often visit. Although it does not directly make the relationship of Jonathan and his papa improved.

In fact, happy days are quite up here when Jonathan knows the true condition of Jihan after they run. A very sick chest stopped Jihan from stopping in the middle of the field while Jonathan was still running to get good grades in sports, but he was not aware of the situation at the time.

"Damn ?." Jonathan was just pedaling the whereabouts of Jihan not beside him earlier in the back and was trying to be carried by the other students.

With a quick step Jonathan approached, checking out what was going on. Shocked to find Jihan collapsed and Jonathan took over to take her own to the hospital instead of the UKS.

"What pain ?." Hurriedly Jonathan asked when he found a doctor coming out of Jihan's room, the doctor with Juan's name tag, his face looked serious, even more frightening Jonathan.

"Jihan's sister has a heart attack, it's better to call her family immediately because it's serious." The doctor passed by leaving Jonathan limp in shock, he didn't know anything before and he thought Jihan was fine but she wasn't.

Seconds and seconds that turn into minutes, hours and days that Jonathan goes through are just words of hope that he tries to believe for a miracle to heal Jihan but Juan said the other day, Jihan can only be cured if you have received a heart donor to return to the activity as before.

"Go home and let us take care of Jihan." Jihan's mother comes and Jo goes to take turns looking after Jihan. They have been exhausted since a week ago Jihan has not been aware and is still in a bad state.

Instead of going home, Jonathan was pacing in the area of the sick rimah to think of finding a solution so that Jihan could be cured, in fact, the condition of Jihan is getting worse and worse. "What should I do ?." He said out of annoyance.

"Pray, that's all we can do as humans." Doctor Juan smiled closer and patted Jonathan on the shoulder. "We cannot change God's destiny but at least we try to pray."

Then Juan's doctor went to check on the other patients, Jonathan there just fell silent and felt he had prayed repeatedly until finally all was in vain if his prayer was not heard by God.

When she heard that Jihan had realized that Jonathan had just left the classroom for the hospital, she was happy to finally meet and talk to Jihan later. Upon arrival there the girl smiled with a pale face and did not show her pain as if nothing had happened.

"You skipped school, huh ? Can't know." Jihan showed a sullen face because she did not like the actions of Jonathan when he could be accompanied.

"Well, that's not like it anymore." The little finger he thrust and the finger of Jihan tore the promise sign.

Jonathan asks his father to find a heart donor for Jihan, including his parents. Not only prayer but trying but not easy to get a suitable heart donor.

Jonathan's hand clasped Jihan's hand tightly, the girl's face grew pale and suddenly full of joy. Jonathan could not see it continuously because it also hurt him.

"Don't be sad, it looks ugly if you're sad so smile dong, death isn't that scary."

"Don't talk about dying, I can't lose anymore and I don't want us to part, I love you Ji."

"Wait for Ji." Jonathan calls the doctor but he is late, when the doctor arrives Jihan is in critical condition. Jonathan refuses to go from there until he sees for himself the death of his loved one for a second time.

"Doctor how ? Jihan's just sleeping, right ?." Jonathan's voice trembled and rejected all possibility that Jihan was dead.

"Sorry but we can't save her, sister Jihan is gone."

"Jihan's noiseless, awake Jihaaan."

Jihan's family was also there and the doctor felt pity, although it was common to see patients who died but the sense of empathy was quite large.

Day after day Jonathan returned and now his condition is worse, even to just attend the funeral Jihan Jo did not want because it is still very heavy to lose. He didn't want to believe it so he didn't come.

For days just locked himself in the room even to just talk he was reluctant to do. His father had tried to persuade Jonathan out of the room but did not want to and only kept quiet.

Until finally they arrived a guest whose parents are Jihan himself and Jonathan out of the room after being told. "They're in the living room." His father Jonathan.

"We know you're so sad that you didn't come to Jihan's funeral, we did too. Losing a child is hard." Puddles in the eyes of his mother Jihan seemed to eliminate the voice that was about to be said until Papa Jihan who chose to speak.

"Before Jihan died she knew it was hard to find a heart donor, so Jihan talked to us about donating one of her organs to someone else and wanted to help her and get back to feeling the world."

"You agreed to Jihan's request, didn't you ?!." Jonathan's hand was clenched tightly, Jihan had been in pain all her life and when she died she could not imagine any of Jihan's organs being donated.

"This is Jihan's last request, there's no way we're going to refuse."

Want to feel Jonathan hit the wall as tight as he was and he was immediately curious about what was donated and for whom ?. "What did Jihan donate ? You know who the donor recipient is ?."

"Jihan donated his eyes, saying that he could still see the world even though his body was gone. About the donor recipients we don't know."

Since then Jonathan has never been called Nathan again because he was only for the old Jonathan. He prefers to be called Jo and start a new life in Jakarta but he is determined to find who is the recipient of his eye donor Jihan.
