his family is attacked by a swarm of bats that scares ga-eun and calls his grandfather. her grandfather comes and sees the old man who attacked her son's family and soon calms her down and tries to ask ga-eun to come along with him. ga-eun initially refuses because she thinks of her parents. grandfather explains the situation and lies to ga-eun if his parents will be fine and will follow them to Seoul with explanations and say that his grandfather was also forced to go along his grandfather and lives in Seoul
