Unreasonable Ceo

Unreasonable Ceo
Chapter 4

To love something invisible, maybe I should be some a snake.

A petite girl pulls off her bike in the Club yard and goes inside to finish her job as Waitress. Ever since Jasmin introduced her to one of the Club Managers, Quinsha was accepted to work unhindered.

The frenetic sound of music jerking makes the ears noisy. Time is past midnight, but Fable night, the name of a nightclub where Quinsha works, is still filled with a sea of humans who are enjoying the world.

The smell of nicotine is also a stinging alcohol from various corners of the room. Humans are confined in dreams and hallucinations swallow without pause until exhausted and fortify themselves with masks of hypocrisy just to survive. Or just pretend to be happy because of the pain he is suffering. Share the same face with a short meeting. Laughs cheerfully dance to the rhythm of concluding each other's wounds.

Quinsha took a deep breath, standing in front of a long table, her legs already feeling sore and tired all over her body.

He must focus on working as Waitress and ignore everything that is visible in plain sight. Ignoring a nosy man for being too drunk just to say hello.

"Quin.." said a woman wearing a dark blue dress sitting on the front seat of the bartender's desk.

Quinsha turned to look at the woman and smiled. "Mother." said Quinsha slowly staring at Jasmin who was sitting in front of a long table directly ordering a cherry-flavored cocktail.

"Quin.. Did you see Alex coming here?"

Quinsha shook her head. "Tonight I didn't see it, what's up?" quinsha asked and sat down next to Jasmin.

Jasmin wiped the cocktail and placed it on the table. "It's okay, it's just I haven't seen her all day." Jasmin looked back and spread her eyes around the people on the dance floor hoping Alex would be there. Then he looked at Quinsha.

"I go home first, remember you have to take care of yourself."

Quinsha nodded her head she frowned noticing Jasmin's bruised forehead but the color had faded a little. But Quinsha did not dare to ask, she chose silence.

Jasmin stood up and paid for the drink he had ordered. "When?" quinsha asked to take the money in Jasmin's hand

"I'm going to find Alex." He glanced at Quinsha at a glance, then the woman walked away from the Club in a hurry. Quinsha stared at Jasmin's back until it disappeared from her sight.

He took a long breath. Glancing at his watch that already showed at 3 am. The sound of music was no longer heard, all the workers were busy cleaning the table and garbage scattered on the floor. Some have gone home first, some clean the seating area. Quinsha wiped the table cloth and tidied up the beer bottle bottles strewn across the table.

After all was done, he rushed towards the locker room, changed his uniform and put it in a bag. Because the club is about to close, and all the employees are ready to go home.

Quinsha walked out of the club towards the edge of the highway, it was raining. He looked back and pulled over at a stop not far from the club. Watching one by one his friends go home with their vehicles each.

There was envy in him, but he quickly brushed it off. When humans are too ambitious. They will find everything to be true and filled with pain. But cities do not only concern ambition, how they run grubby, cursing the powerlessness that eventually becomes a habit.

Quinsha turned her attention to the sky, let out a long sigh, strengthened her heart and pretended, that everything would be fine.

There was only loneliness, endless emptiness, pent-up anger as if exploding in the chest, he bowed smiling incisively looking at the toes wearing only sandals, then he stared around the road, which looks still quiet users of two and four-wheeled vehicles. The wind blows strong with the arrival of lightning. Quinsha squeaked in shock and hugged her bag tightly.

Quinsha had already started to feel the bone-chilling cold air, she looked down at her watch which was already showing at 4:05 am. Finally he decided to go home, he stood up and walked through the rain and ran across the street.

"Abhhhhkkk...!

Quinsha shouted loudly. The glint of the car lights dazzled the eyes, The unexpected arrival at high speed made him faint to pull back over he closed his eyes shut his face tightly.

The car changed direction by slamming the steering wheel to the left until it hit the road divider.

"Brakkk!!

The sound of impact sounded so loud, from inside the car came out a foreign man directly approached Quinsha who was still closing his eyes.

The man was fixated on looking at Quinsha's face, which began to come to his senses and stood looking at the strange stranger in front of him.

"You okay?" said the man in a soft tone.

" I'm sorry" said Quisha slowly.

"Is anyone hurt?" The man watched Quinsha from top to bottom. "Do you need to go to the hospital?" The man held Quinsha's hand.

Quinsha shook her head, looking at the man in front of her, who had a handsome face and soft voice like in a fairyland. Quinsha smiled to herself, making the man frown.

"Sorry, are you okay?" the man waved one other hand at Quinsha's face.

"Yes sir, I'm sorry, ' Quinsha lowered her head for a moment and moved her hand away from the man.

" Let me take you home, your clothes are wet" said the man.

Quinsha watched her wet clothes, without a second thought, she nodded. "Can."

Then the man walked to open the car door for her and put a seatbelt on it, after which he entered from the other car door. The man turned to Quinsha who was wiping the rain on his face, and he took Quinsha some tissue, and gave it to her.

"Thank you." Quinsha stared at the man for a moment, then wiped his face wet with rain. The man nodded and ran his car.

" Whose name are you?" The man glanced at Quinsha for a moment.

"Quinsha" he answered and turned his head. " And you're alone?"

The man smiled a momentary glance at "Arkana Devin" he replied briefly and then refocused himself on the road. Quinsha again silently watched the road, he remembered the man named Bramantio Anderson, the man he first knew and now he was acquainted with a different man. By accident? coulda.
