Kaia's patience ran out, she pinched Kala hard, making him scream and it managed to attract attention.

Four smoke eels are ready, Kaia asks Kala for money.

Kala frowned and asked, “Uang? For what?”

“Give me.”

With a confused feeling, Kala took out five gold coins from the interspatial ring. Kaia gave all the money and took 4 smoked eels wrapped in banana leaves.

Two things make the seller confused. Five gold coins were awarded, but the price of all the eels was only 50 bronze. And, Kala took the money out of the interspatial ring, which should have been unable to function.

However, before he asked the two confusions, Kaia and Kala had already fled. Until he could only scratch his head which was not itchy.

When Kala opened his eyes, all he saw were the roofs of buildings. Under his back, he felt asleep on a soft object. As he circled his eyes, he had to accept the fact that he was in Kaia's room, on her bed!

But, he did not see Kaia here at all, so he got up sitting quickly. From there, Kala could see that Kaia was asleep under the mattress, on the mat!

“What happened?” Kala tried to guess what happened last night.

Scurrying home from the market and throwing up on the street. That was all Kala remembered, the rest was just a hazy memory. However, Kala could guess what Kaia had already done.

When he heard the sound of a braid from the window, Alang had just returned home after his walks. The bird immediately scolded Kala all out, saying that Kala was a lousy man.

“You guys are noisy!” The awakened Kaia throws her pillow, right hitting the Kala above.

“Ah, because you're the sleeping queen so wake up!” Kala's turn to scold Alang, but he also did not escape the anger of Kaia.

“Why were you last night?! Do you know what you've done? Fouled the streets with your vomit and also shouted in front of the funeral home!”

“A-I was unconscious.” Kala scratched her head while apologizing, but next her facial expression became serious. “And why did you take me to sleep in one room?!”

“Is the mattress uncomfortable for you? Oh, then I can bring you a mattress many times!” Kaia snapped.

“That's not what I mean! You know people get drunk? I won't realize what I'm doing, what if I harass you?!” Kala glared at Kaia.

“I believe in you!” Kaia's words really touched Kala's heart, if only Kaia's tone was not too high.

“You can never trust a drunk person.” He pulled out his blanket and came out of the room.

The shop is full of people now. Their faces looked tired and frightened. Kala immediately caught up in the conversation.

“War is not paused! The two sides are increasingly violent and accuse each other of the issue of the dimension of the ring. You know how vital interspatial rings are in war, they suspect that Geowedari, the poor one, damaged interspatial ring access because he didn't have many rings

“You're talking too convoluted! Just tell me the impact!”

“For sure, Geowedari will come to this village because it is suspected that there is some kind of heirloom that interferes with the access ring! Of course Pandataran will protect this village desperately.”

“What will there be war here?” ask the others, looking worried.

“The thing is not here, in the field behind that big hill. If Geowedari came out victorious, then they would invade this village. And if Pandataran who managed to win, they will also invade this village, it's because they are also sure that Geowedari planted the heirloom here.”

“You know where?” is from

“I know directly from the city, I also saw with my own eyes, Pandataran prepare a large army!”

“About, how long will they be until?” Now it was Kala's turn to ask.

“Maybe they are at war right now, their speed is incredible!”

Someone's pounding the table tight. “We have to get out of here! They're gonna slaughter us!”

For sure, this is not good news for everyone in the village. Villagers are certainly impossible to evacuate at the same time, Telu Forest is too dangerous. As for the princes, they can still survive as long as they leave here as soon as possible. Kala knew of this problem so that his face was pale.

“Wait a minute! What about the safety of ordinary people in this village?” Kala tightened her voice.

“How can it be like that! They are human too, like us! Still want to breathe fresh breath!”

“Nak, listen to us. We love each other, we love your life. Let me give you some advice. Just be important to yourself this time, we know your good intentions, but don't you still want to breathe fresh breath too?”

“I still want to breathe fresh breath, but with them.”

“You will only die with them!”

“Do not the strong have to protect the weak? Why did you learn to be a swordsman if you just run away like a cowardly dog?”

“Nak, watch your talk or we won't hesitate anymore.” Another middle-aged man stood up from the chair while straightening his fingers.

“You better take care of that attitude, Old Man!” Kala let out a murderous lust, making the middle-aged man could only stare at Kala full of hatred.

“Already, there is no point in asking him for help against the kingdom. He's a royal henchman!”

“I have said before and before again, I am retired!”

The two men wrestled back before the others separated. The atmosphere was serious again, they chose to pack up instead of hearing Kala who kept asking for help.

After getting tired of himself and feeling very unappreciated, Kala returned upstairs, precisely to Kaia's room.

“You must leave this village, Alang will take care of you. Go now.”

“Came suddenly and kicked me out, is it still drunk?”

“Most likely, this village will be attacked, the inhabitants will be slaughtered. I'll arrest them, but I can't take care of you.”

“Then, what am I learning martial arts for?”

Kala looked at Kaia meaningfully, feeling proud but then feeling sad again.

“Can't Kaia, your ability isn't enough. They will definitely send a lot of troops for a problem of this size.”

“That ring problem?” Asked Kaia, Kala nodded. “The ring is also a hassle for me, I will also help you!”

“Eak eak!”

Kala took a deep breath, trying to convince herself to tell him the truth was not from her heart.

“You are a burden, it will only trouble me.” Kala said loudly but her face grimaced.

Silent moment. Kaia and Alang were both unable to speak, still not convinced by Kala's words.

“You guys, it will only trouble me. Better to leave than I die here!” Kala turned his face away.

“You ... You mean it?”

“Do I look messy?!”

Kaia smiled, but from her left eye tears flowed. His eyes could not deceive, clearly he did not believe and was disappointed heavily in himself. When embarrassed to show his face, he still turned his face while enduring the sadness.

“Good ... well, we'll go. Come, Alang.”

“Eak eak!” Alang refused loudly.

“Alang, you're gone. Same with the burden! Useless!”

Alang looked at Kala in disbelief, her body had already been hunted pulled Kaia out of the room, or even out of the inn. Kala straightened his face, then convinced himself it was the best decision.

The troops that will invade must be many, Kala already reckoned with that. And it would be a bad possibility if Kala lost the battle later, then it would be fatal for Kaia.

Then, why does Kala seem to be willing to sacrifice only for this small problem while the task is bigger? When he just wanted to start, he felt that he was still not very useful.

“Alright, time to work.”
