Luna, Nadira, Inaya and several staff members who have been selected to be the organizers are holding a small meeting about the 78th anniversary of Harrington Group which will be held in a few days.
"I think the celebration event this time should be held in this company only, do not need to be in the building like in the past years," Luna suggested.
"Why is that? Is the company cash not enough to have an event in a 5-star building or hotel?" inaya asked innocently.
Nadira and Luna laughed. "Nay, how many years did you work here? Let alone the event at a 5-star hotel buy the hotel directly can also be times," explained Nadira. Inaya chuckles amusedly as well.
"The company can certainly have a luxury event, just the intention of Luna to be somewhat different this year," added Nadira.
Luna nodded. "Yes, the celebration in the building is common, if we are in the company can all promote the company and projects that we are living," said Luna explained her intention earlier.
The others seemed to nod. All the staff present nodded in agreement to the idea. "On the place, the concept of the party, catering and others is finished. Just ask for Mr. Arsen's approval. If the President acc we can immediately call the PJ event to prepare everything," said Inaya. His hands were busy typing reports.
"Can be finished, the new staff can immediately disband, keep monitoring your group, yes, wait for instructions from us, okay?" luna's instructions to the newly joined staff.
The staff of 6 people nodded. "Good, Senior. Thank you," they said almost simultaneously and walked out of the room.
"They turned out to be interns?" asked Nadira who had just noticed it.
Luna patted her own forehead. "Hadeuh, Nad, since we're in a meeting it turns out Lo just realized?"
Nadira. "Hehe, it's appropriate for their clothes to be formal, not like ordinary staff."
"Nadira oh Nadira," Inaya chimed in. The two are not close enough, but from Luna's story. He knows the mint hijab girl.
Inaya's done with the report. He gave the piece of paper he had just printed to Nadira. "Nad, you'll ask for the president's acc" he said with a smile.
"Huh? How come I am anyway? Luna was part of the secretariat," Nadira protested. Luna and Inaya looked at the sight. The two had agreed to sacrifice Nadira before.
"Sorry, yes, Nadira. But we are very busy, we have many more official reports," said Inaya quickly and then quickly out. Luna did the same.
"Eh, uh, what are you guys doing?"
"Sorry, Nad. I don't want to get angry with Mr. Arsen. Mending Lo, good luck. Drugs, let me know if it's acc, yes." Luna and Inaya just left.
I left Nadira alone in the meeting room. He tiptoed in annoyance, cursing himself. "Udah I guess, they deliberately invited me to a meeting so I could sacrifice I," Nadira grumbled while tidying the table.
He continued to grumble, until he was not aware of the presence of Arsen who entered the room. "Ouch! Fucking bench!" it means on the chair that tripped him.
Arsen chuckled at the end of the table. He kept watching Nadira who kept nagging at the chairs and tables. "They're innocent, why are you scolding her?" Nadira jerks.
"Sir Arsen! Since when is it here?"
"Since you cursed that innocent chair" pointed Arsen at the chair Nadira had occupied. "Why are you scolding her? That's your custom?"
"Bu-not! I accidentally stumbled" I'm Nadira. The tip of Arsen's eye caught a bruise on Nadira's instep.
"illness?"
"No, really!" quickly answer. Arsen saw the strange gurgle of his wife.
"Why? Let me see your feet, does it hurt? Don't let the bruise turn blue." Arsen grabbed Nadira's body and sat her in a chair.
Arsen removed the high heels Nadira wore and touched the bruise slowly and blew it gently. Nadira grimaced, not because of the bruises on her legs but because of Arsen's gentle treatment which she thought was too gentle. Even Luna who was watching was dumbfounded.
"Pak Arsen can be that gentle? What exactly is their relationship?" Luna wondered. He came back because he forgot his pen left in the meeting room. Unexpectedly when he returned he saw something else. He hurriedly got out of the meeting room as both of them were about to come out.
"We discuss the concept in another room, everything is okay. It's just that the concept is too simple" said Arsen.
The two then walked together towards Arsen's private room. Nadira's step was slightly shaken because his legs were still felt
throbbing pain. Therefore, Arsen also slowed his steps so that they could be in harmony with Nadira.
"You're too careless, look at it now, like a crippled granny," Arsen said.
Behind him Nadira was grimacing. "My better. I don't want to destroy my house if I'm angry," Nadira mocked not to lose.
"Basic vindictive woman."
"Hmph, women are very good at remembering their partner's mistakes."
Luna was back. 'Pair? Do they really have a relationship? But why didn't Nadira ever tell me the same?' Luna looked at the backs of the two who had gone away with a look of confusion.
In the Arsen room. The man explained all the details for the celebration. Nadira listened carefully and recorded it well so that there was no mistake.
"This is all right, sir?" Arsen nodded briefly as ******.
"Okay, if you'll excuse me, yes, I have to give this concept to Luna and Inaya so they can immediately make sense of EO later."
"You don't remember what date Nadira was?" arsen asked suddenly as Nadira was about to reach the door leaf.
Nadira was silent for a moment, of course he remembered. 8 years passed since he lost both his parents. "I ... I remember," he said trembling.
"But compared to remembering the painful thing, I choose not to remember it at all" Nadira said again. His shoulders shook with tears. He rubbed his cheek quickly. A speck of water falls off without being asked.
Arsen looked at him sympathetically. He pulled Nadira into his arms. "You should know. You have me now. It's okay for you to show your sadness in front of me. Don't hold it in," comfort Arsen as he rubs the girl's head slowly.
How did Arsen know that he had been enduring his grief? How does Arsen guess if Nadira is being hugged in grief?
In Arsen's embrace that morning, Nadira let down all her grief. On the same date every year, he would only cry bitterly alone. It would hurt if Nadira remembered the incident that killed her parents.
"Take your time to feel your feeling. Can you promise me not to hide yourself when you are in pain and sad?" ask Arsen seriously. He took off his arms and gave Nadira a handkerchief.
Nadira wiped her wet cheeks with Arsen's handkerchief. "Why?" Nadira asked back.
"Because it's unfair if you hide your pain and your witness even though you showed me how to feel the happiness." Arsen grabbed Nadira's cheeks with both hands, staring at his wife's bead deeply, as if wanting to channel all the power he had and move it to Nadira.
Arsen knows exactly what it feels like to lose. For that he understood how sad Nadira felt. And he didn't want Nadira to hide his sadness. Especially when locked up in that sadness.
"Can you promise me, Nadira?" rework Arsen again. Nadira nodded. It might not be bad if they share that sadness. They had promised before not to hide anything and to try to trust each other.
