44. Episode 44

The day changed, mayleen and Liu yaoshan had already started a journey to find the grandfather's home village they had met in the market.

"Have you ordered your subordinates to help us find that grandfather? " ask mayleen.

Liu Yaoshan had actually sent some of his greatest spies from the demon kingdom to search for the whereabouts of the grandfather's tomb.

"Already, but they did not find any bright spots at all" Liu Yaoshan said.

"Tell them we must not give up on finding the village where the grandfather came from" Mayleen said.

"But what should we do now? we don't know anything about the grandfather at all" Liu Yaoshan said.

Mayleen was actually tired of looking for the origin of the grandfather's village but not mayleen if she was so easy to just give up without getting any results.

Mayleen then remembered something, she took the pair of bracelets that were already in her pocket.

When entering the forest to cross suddenly a group of people blocking their path.

"Hay sir and miss, you should give up all your possessions, otherwise you will die here" said one of the men holding the sword.

"Are you sure you can attack us? " ask Liu yaoshan coldly.

"Of course, sir, you didn't bring any guards or anything while we very much just attacked once you guys are gone Hahahaha" the man said with a laugh.

"Come on. The trash is just bothering, just let him handle it I'm lazy" mayleen's mind just stayed on her horse.

"It's very confident" Liu Yaoshan said, then got off his horse and walked towards the man.

"Master it turns out you want to say_" said the man cut off after Liu yaoshan with an invisible movement, his sword already on the man's neck.

"Don't say much and go to hell" Liu Yaoshan said, separating the head from the man's body.

"Does anyone want to get in our way? " asked Liu yaoshan looking at the subordinate of the man who was already frightened.

"Pardon us sir, we should not hinder you, we beg you not to kill us" said one of them prostrate and pleaded for an amount as well as the others.

"We've let them go, we have to leave before sunset" said Mayleen.

"Alright, this time I forgive you but not next time if you face me again" Liu yaoshan said flatly.

After that they left Sana and left the useless person there.

In the middle of the journey mayleen and Liu yaoshan stopped and rested because the sky had begun to darken, they then gave their horses a drink that looked exhausted as well.

"Do we have to stay here and continue tomorrow morning? " ask Liu yaoshan.

"It's better that way I'm exhausted" said Mayleen.

Liu Yaoshan gathered the wood and blamed the fire with his power to warm their bodies.

"Are you cold? " ask Liu yaoshan.

Liu yaoshan did not believe the words mayleen pulled her into his arms but mayleen did not refuse at all.

"Let me sleep for a while" said Mayleen.

"Sleep, I'll wake you when it's morning" Liu Yaoshan said.

"Are you not resting, you look exhausted" said Mayleen.

"Don't worry about me, go to sleep" said Liu yaoshan stroking mayleen's head and peeling her forehead.

Not long after, Mayleen fell asleep in Liu Yaoshan's arms.

"Finally he fell asleep, he must be very tired" Liu yaoshan said looking at his wife's pretty face and moments later he fell asleep as well.

Early in the morning Mayleen woke up and saw Liu yaoshan sleeping beside her.

"Hoaammm.kemarin he said he who wants to wake me up turns out he overslept too" said Mayleen.

Mayleen then slowly let go of Liu yaoshan's embrace and went in search of food and water that they could use before they continued their journey.

Moments after mayleen left Liu yaoshan woke up and saw that the next door had been empty, he started to panic at seeing mayleen who was not next to him.

"I'm so stupid why did I fall asleep last night, did anyone kidnap her forever I slept" Liu yaoshan said worriedly and began to think no.

Liu yaoshan was busy thinking about what he should do while walking back and forth until someone broke his mind.

"Well, is it with you? " ask the man who is none other than the new mayleen who came and brought the rabbit and water in his hand.

Liu yaoshan heard the voice turn around and looked at the person who came without saying anything.

"What's wrong with her, is she out of her mind because I left her for a while" mayleen's inner self.

"What's wrong with you" asked mayleen astonished at Liu yaoshan who was just her.

"Ahh.what? Eh.. Where have you been ? you know I panicked so much when I saw you not, that I thought of nothing" Liu yaoshan said.

"I was foraging and drinking after filling up we have to continue the journey" said Mayleen.

"I don't need to eat and drink as long as you have it dear because my energy source is from you" Liu Yaoshan said, peeping at mayleen's cheeks.

"Stay away from me and roast the rabbit" said Mayleen hiding her embarrassment.

"Is my wife ashamed? Hmm?? " said Liu yaoshan teasing mayleen.

"Si.Who is ashamed? I can't" said Mayleen washing her face with the water she brought.

After that Liu yaoshan burned the rabbit brought by mayleen and they ate together.

"Let's go, we have to go to this day also to the village" said Mayleen.

"Alright, let's go" Liu yaoshan said on his horse.

Moments later riding each other's horses, they reached the gate entering the small village but the village had many inhabitants.
