CHAPTER 24 ~ BAP Shadow ~

More than 45 minutes of Armen waiting outside. He sat in a long chair made of aluminum. Every now and then he plays mobile to search for news or info related to their business. 

Gianto who had just returned home on patrol saw Armen sitting there. Only themselves. Gianto believes Armen is the same person he came to see Lastri's truck. The truck was seen by other witnesses and is thought to be at the location where Yudi first disappeared. 

"Lastri's Theme?" Gianto try to open the chat.

"Yes right, you went home yesterday, right?"

"Well, where's the lastri?"

"Udah inside!*

"What time's the call?"

"Eleventh."

"Huh ... Has it been a while inside?"

Gianto's opinion seemed to be the same as that of Armen. Why because of falling asleep at the location and not seeing anything, but have to undergo a long examination. Although Gianto knew Lastri and Yudi came from the same village, it did not necessarily make Gianto connect the two things.

For Armen, this story is new. He knew Lastri was Pure's foster son. That's for sure. His parents have been neighbors since he was not born.

And what makes Armen more surprised is the confession of his interlocutor. Gianto knows what happened to Lastri two years ago. But he himself never knew. Indeed, Gianto was the police officer who first got a report from the community of events in the rubber plantation owned by the people.

Armen asked like that. He wanted to know what Gianto's intention was to have talks related to the case of Lastri specifically with him. Even to bring up the case of Lastri that has been long, and never even reported.  

What Gianto said was true overall. On his initiative, Lastri received a visa from the hospital. However, the results of the visa were never used for report material. The Lastri family did not have enough courage to go through the law.

Gianto has launched an investigation on personal initiative. He even went to the area where he lived. However, he could not find Lastri at his home. Just three days Lastri was treated at home. Until the end Gianto served there, not once he could meet Lastri.

Eventually Lastri left. Full of determination mixed with reckless he left Enah, and try to live alone. Just for the sake of fighting Gya who is in the womb. 

"Soally I was also called Mr. Kanit, asked for information!"

"About what?"

"Truck!"

"What's wrong with Lastri's truck?'

"Because I brought that truck!"

"Continue?"

"The commander wants to make sure the truck is the same!"

"Oh, huh?" Armen understood.

So far there has been no statement Gianto lied. When Wasis died, his body was examined. After the positive heart, Gianto was sent to deliver the truck by Kanit Reskrim. Kanit Reskrim needs himself to make sure that the truck is the same truck.

"Why is the case kayak so complicated!'

Armen was really curious about the story of Gianto. Inwardly he was very intending to ask Lastri. If Lastri refused, he would ask Tiwi, the manager of the factory. Or he would ask some of the employees he knew there.

"CCTV isn't there? Armen repeat the previous question.

"Okay, I want a break!" Gianto was tired of serving up the inexhaustible Armenian question.

"Oh yes, this break!" Armen's words sounded cynical.

"Yes Mas, just a moment again must be finished really, said Armen, "yes the investigator is not a laper?"

"Yes, sir!" 

Gianto left Armen, apparently going to the cafeteria behind the office. Armen's thoughts were mixed. It's hard to judge Pastri personally. The old story that Gianto told made Armen doubtful. 

He had heard his mother say that Gya's father was a migrant worker. Now he heard that Lastri was the victim of rape and cruelty from a group of young men. Two people were killed, both from the same village. 

Armen's common sense gives the answer that it will be easy for the police to determine a motive. But until now police still have trouble assigning suspects. Let alone suspects, credible witnesses are difficult. 

Is it related to the occult as Gianto said there is a shadow on CCTV? Armen was deep in his heart.
