CHAPTER 63 | Hill of Death – Chaos in the city of Land of Fire

They also set out for the Land of Fire, the territory of monster general Sanme.

The Land of Fire, as the name implies, is a barren land and many lava flows around it that overflow on the ground surface. The surrounding ground felt red by the heat from the lava. No plant can grow in such a hot area.

“The surrounding air stings the skin” murmured He Xian

Hearing He Xian's words, Chen Yan then gave each of them a body cooling pill to keep their bodies from the heat.

In front of them was a fairly wide road leading to a 5-story pagoda-like building in the middle of the city fortress. The town of the Land of Fire is inhabited by the monster army of General Sanme. General Sanme and his commanders lived in the 5-storey pagoda building.

“No guards appear around this place” Xiaozi muttered as he looked around

Their distance from the city fortress was still quite far, but along the way there was not a single monster guard in sight.

“He Xian, cast magic to seal ourselves from the sight of the enemy so that they do not realize our arrival” Xiaozi said

He Xian immediately took out the Heavenvine Magic to hide the team of monster hunters from the sight of the guards inside the city fortress. After that, they were free to walk closer to the city fortress.

Arriving at the front door of the fortress, they saw only two monster guards standing in front of the gate and most of the others were on top of the fortress.

“Lingjian, come out” said Xiaozi. The Sword Spirit Hunter immediately appeared in front of Xiaozi.

“I leave it to you to provoke a ruckus” Xiaozi orders him.

“Siap. I like to provoke a ruckus” said Sword Spirit Hunter who then moved towards the guards of the fortress and killed him. Then the Spirit Hunter Sword instantly floated up to create a commotion back above the city fortress.

There was a cry of death over the city fortress that made the monsters stand by with the attack.

“Qiongqi, destroy the city fortress door. Wuya help Sword Spirit Hunter make a fuss over the fortress.” Xiaozi orders back.

“Siap” both said and then immediately attacked as planned.

Xiaozi and his companions rushed following Qiongqi who was about to destroy the city's fortress door. While Wuya rushed off towards the top of the city fortress and attacked the guards helping the Sword Spirit Hunters.

“Shan Mui, you and the others immediately sneak into the city jail. Me and He Xian will make a fuss in the middle of the city.” Xiaozi continued

After Qiongqi smashed the door of the fortress, Xiaozi and He Xian immediately ran over and made a ruckus in the middle of the city. It appeared that He Xian was unleashing his magic power to summon a thunderstorm that struck into the middle of the city.

The monster army was surprised to find out that lightning had suddenly arrived, they panicked and scattered to find shelter. But Xiaozi had already wiped them out with a punch of his fist.

“There's attack!” shouted the monsters who saw He Xian and Xiaozi to tell the other monsters to prepare for battle.

Hearing the commotion, a long white-haired and all-white-clothed woman appeared with her arrow weapon. Seeing the vandals, BaiLi the woman immediately released arrows at them.

He Xian formed his body protection shield to repel the arrows while Xiaozi and Qiongqi used their hands to fend off the arrows.

Wuya who had high speed was difficult to be harvested by the white woman. Immediately Wuya moved to attack towards the white woman.

Feeling himself being targeted by Wuya, the white woman dodged and pulled out her spear weapon. With that long spear he pulled out his nurse to banish Wuya.

Wuya seemed to have difficulty facing the white woman because the spear prevented him from approaching the woman.

Qiongqi who saw that immediately ran over to help Wuya. “Give this woman to me” shouted Qiongqi who directly attacked the women.

Seeing Qiongqi coming at him ferociously, this white woman then took out a shield to fend off the attack from Qiongqi.

“Sial, this woman has a very strong way of fighting. I found it difficult to attack him because he used that shield” muttered Qiongqi who was exerting his claw but managed to be fended off with the shield by the woman. Even the woman used her spear to counterattack Qiongqi.

This white lady BaiLi was from a deer clan with a pair of horns visible above her head. This woman's face was extremely cold, although her cultivation was only at the 3rd level of Gold, but her battle technique was extremely high

“Cih, you are truly amazing” praise Qiongqi after seeing that woman's fighting strength.

Seeing that Qiongqi was unable to get close to the woman, Xiaozi immediately helped replace her,”Qiongqi you go with He Xian to welcome the Desert Scorpion that will soon appear” Xiaozi said

Qiongqi understood Xiaozi's intent, then he ran after He Xian who was destroying the city with his lightning power.

Sure enough Xiaozi guessed, the Desert Scorpion immediately appeared as soon as it felt the magic power that was attacking the city of the Land of Fire. His eyes stared intently at He Xian, then he unleashed power to dispel the thunderstorm.

Seeing his attack being broken by the Desert Scorpion, He Xian cast another magic spell to attack towards the Desert Scorpion. Qiongqi who was looking at the Desert Scorpion immediately jumped towards him.

Qiongqi's attack was extremely ferocious, thus forcing the Desert Scorpion to retreat and use its magic power to create her protective armor. Qiongqi narrowed her eyes looking at the armor on the body of the Desert Scorpion.

“You think that armor could stop me from killing you?” qiongqi sneered

The eyes of the Desert Scorpion magician were shocked to hear Qiongqi's words. His tail which had a sharp and poisonous sting struck back towards Qiongqi. Sensing the attack from the Desert Scorpion, Qiongqi dodged it.

Meanwhile Xiaozi who faced the white woman BaiLi had the upper hand, the many times his punches held with the shield made the shield crack and over time would be destroyed by Xiaozi's punch.

“Damn it, this guy is very strong. I can't withstand his blow with this shield” muttered the woman in his heart.

Sure enough, Xiaozi's next blow managed to shatter the shield on the woman's left hand. Seeing her shield being destroyed, the woman became even more ferocious to attack Xiaozi.

Xiaozi was not willing to waste much energy against the subordinates. He exerted his level one Diamond level power to immediately finish the match against the white lady BaiLi.
