Fighting against a demonic beast that had already cultivated spiritual intelligence was much more difficult than an ordinary SS-category demonic beast.
Spiritual intelligence not only gives them the ability to speak, but also the sense in setting plans. Like maintaining distance with the opponent, releasing a long-range magic attack in search of opportunities and everything related to the situation around.
"Oh, just talk, you're so arrogant, learn a little more, how to honor other beings first." Reply Zen by mocking him.
The black Ant Queen was ready to attack, both hands had thin blade-like claws on her fingers. A fairly long range of hands moved forward and swung directly towards Zen.
Unfortunately it does not mean anything, eyes that are able to see every movement of the black Ant Queen's hand swing and also have agile and flexible body reflexes, making Zen can evade in various situations, although now their fight was within a narrow passageway.
But the Queen of black ants did not stay silent, she thought of another way, because every hand was successfully avoided without giving a wound. So that now the creature began to use four hands that grow from each side of his body where it is not just a mere display.
Each of the moving claws gave a continuous, fast, sharp, and dangerous attack. But more than Zen had expected, the sharpness of the claw almost matched that of a platinum weapon that could perforate a stone wall like crackers.
Only, the Black Ant Queen had chosen the wrong opponent, Zen who had already fought a demon beast-level creature of the Legend category, certainly did not consider the attacks of lower-level beings to be extraordinary.
After conquering the Dungeon, Zen could feel his magic energy and all of his physical abilities developing drastically. This is more like a character level rise in an analog game.
"Impossible .. perfect evolution, I'm on a higher level than ever, but why... my attack." Surprise felt from the way the Queen of ants talk even though it was not smooth.
"I told you, you're too arrogant for a talking animal, and damn, the first opponent you meet is me.... SHUT UP AND JUST ACCEPT YOUR DEATH."
Zen's words from that last sentence along with the red-eye look that locked onto the black Ant Queen's soul to remain still in place.
One of the conditions for a creature to be affected by the soul-binding gaze of the Ra'e is that their power is under Zen. Just by this alone had proven that the SS-category demon beast was still fairly weak for him to fight now.
The black ant queen tried to rebel, her magic flow was rising and forcing the body to move.
"Don't. toying... This queen ...." Loud screams.
It is true, the Ant Queen tried hard for the sake of breaking away, it managed to make the foot forward one step. But alas, just for the one step he made, every bone in his body crumbled and spurted black blood out of his mouth.
Zen creates a sword in hand and prepares to kill the fallen queen of ants, but from within the cave of the nest of the ant colonies, a horde of troops begins to arrive.
The Ant Queen was unable to move, but it emitted a transmission wave that every colony received to come to its aid. If just one or two ants were certainly not a problem, Zen could overcome all of that easily.
But now, there were hundreds of ants trying to enter the hole occupied by Zen and Hiyo. He immediately put up a barrier with a pile of swords. But free, the ants dig in the walls of the hallway, then make a new path to penetrate into the direction of their Queen.
Boulders of land began to fall, Zen was worried that the attack of hundreds of Ants would make the passageway of land collapse. Especially now that he was with Hiyo, it certainly could not put him in a dangerous position.
It was too late, the ground slowly fell and when there was no chance to take Hiyo out. A ray of golden light emerged from behind the pile of swords and coated himself into the magic dome.
Hiyo sat on the ground while hugging her knees, she stared at Zen with a face that seemed like she wanted to cry. Smiled with relief as it could still survive the collapse of the ground by the protective light.
"Are you okay." Asked Zen who walked past the pile of swords.
"I'm afraid, when I told you, if it's dangerous, but you won't listen." Hiyo replied still bowed in fear and buried her face in her knees.
"I'm sorry, everything happened outside of our goals." Zen laughed bitterly.
Zen again took out a cloth to wipe away the tears on Hiyo's face. Looking around the dome of light, Zen felt astonished.
For others, the humans possessing the two basic elemental powers were a special thing, they would become famous figures in the future. But Zen found it strange when he found out, if Hiyo could also use light element attribute magic.
"By the way, you can also use light element magic." Ask Zen.
"Actually I can use all the magic elements." A shocking statement, even for Zen.
"All ?, that's too amazing ." Zen could not hide his surprise.
But complicated Hiyo's face when going to answer Zen's words...."Only you think it's amazing, while everyone else will see me as weird."
Unlike being humble or being arrogant, the smile on Hiyo's face was mocking to herself.
"Why do you think it's weird." Answer Zen.
"Of course it's weird, because it's not natural for ordinary humans to have powers like mine."
"Then you're not human." That is indeed reality.
"Do you also think I'm a demon." I don't know where Hiyo's mind is coming from.
"In this world there are no demons, the people of Dios world call it spirit. That means you're not part of an ordinary human like them." Zen replied.
"You're right, since the beginning of my life it's different from most people, because I'm not from this world." Hiyo agrees.
"One of the reincarnations of the Ten Heroes." Zen said guessing the answer to Hiyo's question.
Hiyo nodded as her answer.
