Albert approached Emery and sat behind him holding both his shoulders.

" Don't worry, I'm sure if the time comes Alia will be able to control it. And remember that Alya will be aware. Never tell the truth."

" Why?" Emery asked, wondering why Albert actually forbid to tell the real incident to Alia.

" Darling, Alia is still not ready if we tell her the truth then it will shake her mind. Alia won't remember when she turns into Valkyrie Light."

Emery smiled, then he looked at Alia who started to open her eyes.

" Mama, papa. You guys are home?, and why was I in the room wasn't I in the basement before?" Alia.

" Dear, don't you remember that there was an earthquake and we don't know what you were doing because when we came you were passed out on the floor." Emery.

" Really?"

" Yes, now tell me what do you feel where the pain is?"

" Stttt, it's okay. I'm fine, I just feel a little dizzy and sore at hand."

" The doctor has examined you. He's also been giving painkillers, now have to eat first after that mama will give you medicine."

Alia nodded and Emery started to feed Alia with the warm food that the aunt had just brought.

Albert walked to Aliya's window. Open the glass window and Albert saw something coming out. Alia looked at him carefully.

" Ma, what is Papa doing?"

" Nothing, just in case you stay safe while you're home."

" Did papa put up some kind of shield?"

" Yes like that, but this shield will not be a doer for humans. This shield applies only to other creatures."

" Another creature?"

" Yes, non-human beings and Mama don't think Mama needs to explain it because you must already know what you mean."

Alia smiled and nodded, then both her parents took a break to check if there was any damage done in this house after the earthquake.

" Have a rest, Mama will tell Lucy and Gwen. Mama will also tell him to visit you often so as long as you're home you won't be lonely."

"Thank you ma."

At night, Alia got up and walked over and opened the window. Alia could clearly see the shield her papa was putting up.

And strangely when Lucy and Gwen came they did not see a shield covering the house, even though Alia had already shown it.

Alia closed her eyes and began to call out Devian's name. Devian, who had just finished hunting, heard a call from Alia. As fast as lightning Devian immediately slid into Alia's house.

Alia smiled as she started hearing the voice from Devian.

" Devian, are you here?"

" Yes, I came as soon as you called me as I promised I would always come when you called me."

Alia smiled then she started opening the check just like she did before.

" What is this?" Devian asked after he passed the shield.

" This is the shield my parents have made to protect me since the earthquake that occurred this afternoon.

" Equake?"

" yes. Don't you feel it?"

" Em, I'm a vampire. Maybe I'm in my subconscious so I don't feel the earthquake."

" Haha.. Come sit down."

" Alia, what happened to you?" Devian asked who had just realized that Alia's right hand was wrapped in a bandage.

" Hmm, I myself don't remember what happened to me but mama and papa said. I may have fallen from a high place trying to pick up a book. But really I don't remember if I was in a high place to pick up a book I just remember that all I did was sit down and read an ancient book."

" Old book?"

" Yes, I read a book about Valkyrie Light."

" Wow that's so cool."

" Yes I know. I really wanted to go back to reading the book but both my parents forbade it until an unspecified time."

" It's a pity." Devian.

Alia fell down as she was about to walk backwards towards her bed. Devian quickly caught Alia's body. And let Aliya fall on his body. They looked at each other for a long time.

" I didn't expect you to look more beautiful by the day." Devian said that made Alia blush in embarrassment.

" I also just realized you're so handsome."

" I love you, Alia."

" I love you to.."

Devian brought his lips closer to Alia's. Alia closed her eyes, Devian smiled at Aliya's expression which seemed to no longer resist as Devian brought her face closer.

Devian's face was getting closer, and.....
