Despite looking terrified, the Great General walked over to Shen Long, then lowered his head.
" Lord Swordsman... We never dealt with you. Take my life, but set these soldiers free." The Great General had already predicted that the figure was Shen Long, so it would be unwise to fight with him which only caused death.
Even one by one the Generals knelt before Shen Long, for the young man to spare the soldiers at the cost of their lives.
" If you don't want to lose your life, please stand behind me." Shen Long who had no business with the soldiers, directly asked them to come out from inside the gate.
Hastily the Generals opened the gate, then rushed towards the back of Shen Long.
Seeing the incident, some commanders and soldiers chose to be loyal to their General and stood behind Shen Long.
" What are you guys doing?" Shouted one of the Generals when he saw the soldiers preferring to stay in the Ling Imperial Palace.
Naturally the commanders and warriors did not want to lose their jobs, so they preferred to fight against Shen Long who was only alone with the Golden Dragon.
