Devina unintentionally witnessed it all. The sword that was stabbed into his father's heart made Devina instantly hysterical. Without thinking, Devina immediately approached Abraham's body. His feelings were mixed as he felt the blood pouring endlessly from the gap of his wound.

Devina's voice rang out, while Rudolf before her only stared coldly and did not feel guilty after harming his own father. His heart was completely covered by hatred and controlling desire.

Rexid glanced at Devina and Abraham, he threw a bottle of potion at the girl.

"Come out of here and drink it later to the Emperor. He will be fine if he drinks the potion" said Rexid.

Some of the people who were there helped Devina take Abraham away. He left the location of Rudolf's whereabouts so Rexid could fight as he pleased.

"Are you ignoring me now?"

Rudolf got up from the floor and immediately swung his sword at Rexid. However, Rexid was more agile than him, he was able to withstand Rudolf's brutal attack.

A fight ensued, the sound of swords clashing in the middle of the spacious room. However, Rudolf was unable to balance his speed with Rexid. There was a moment where Rexid hit Rudolf's body until it crashed and pierced through the glass wall behind him. Rudolf was thrown into the palace courtyard, his body felt crushed by Rexid's magic.

"You're using magic? How lamentable it is," Rudolf wrote in disbelief.

"It's not about cheating or not, but about winning and losing. You've lost, Rudolf! I'll chop off your head and make you miserable in hell!" press Rexid with wrath.

"Haha." Rudolf let out a laugh, for some reason he didn't look scared at the time. "You can't kill me because I will definitely survive death."

Suddenly Elkin appeared out of nowhere, a proud smile on Rudolf's lips.

"Goodbye, Rexid."

Along with his goodbye, Rudolf's existence slowly disappeared from Rexid's sight. Elkin took Rudolf away from Rexid.

"Damn! I failed to kill him," exasperated Rexid grumbled.

Not getting there, apparently Elkin took Rudolf into the middle of the wilderness. Rudolf looked relieved that he had not met the realm of death. His life was saved, now he only needs to rest for a moment.

"It's a good thing that you arrived on time, if you're a little late, then maybe I could die at Rexid's hands" Rudolf said.

"I think it's enough to get here." Finally, Elkin opened his voice.

"What do you mean?" Rudolf stared into Elkin's eyes, which he found difficult to understand.

Surprisingly, Elkin unsheathed a dagger into Rudolf's heart. The dagger had been drenched with poison.

"W-Why? Why did it all turn out like this?" Rudolf's body fell to the ground, blood pouring down from his heart gap. "Didn't you guys offer me help in the first place?"

"Yes, but it's over and now His Majesty Yuine is giving me orders to take your life."

The poison began to react, a hot taste boiling in Rudolf's blood. Slowly his consciousness disappeared, the shadow of death circled around him.
