The Sydonay (II)

When Shana is unconscious, Shana dreams about her past.

At that time, Shana who did not have a name still lived in a magnificent castle. The castle sits on top of an invisible floating island. The island is a Treasure Tool (Hogu) walking fortress named Tendoukyuu.

There, the young girl lived with three other people. One is Shana's nanny, and the other is Shana's mentor. Moreover, there was still the Flame of Heaven Alastor, who back then had still not entered into a contract with Shana.

The Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter was the name for the Flame Haze that made a contract with the Flame of Heaven. That name does not belong to one person.

Before the young girl came to Tendoukyuu, Alastor already had a contractor.

Unfortunately, hundreds of years ago, at the end of an event called The Great War, the Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter of that generation sacrificed its life to end a war that could determine the direction of the world.

Since that incident, in order to complete missions in the human world, Alastor is looking for a new contractor.

Most of the Flame Haze lost their families due to the existence of Denizen, and they were determined to take revenge before finally signing a contract with the Crimson Lord.

And that includes the contractor Alastor when The Great War happened.

After losing his Contractor, Alastor realized, that this was not the only way to recruit the Flame Haze.

Therefore, Alastor began to look for the Flame Haze who did not have a grudge against Denizen, but the Flame Haze who was born just to carry out the mission.

Tendoukyuu exists for this purpose. The island is a training ground for selecting qualified contractors.

Finally, a little girl appeared at the place of Tendoukyuu. The young girl was an orphan and also a vagabond in Hong Kong city. He lives on the streets, has no home, and also eats leftover food from garbage cans. 

You could say, the nameless girl had been rejected by the world. Even its existence is considered trash by the society.

Seeing the girl, the servant Tendoukyuu came to her and brought the young girl back with him.

Since then, the young girl's life has begun to change. Now he had been educated to become the great Flame Haze, which was suitable for inheriting the name Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter.

Therefore, the girl has no name and only has a nickname Shana in the future.

Even so, the young girl did not have any complaints. Tendoukyuu has given him a more meaningful purpose in life. Before, he had absolutely no purpose in life. His days were filled with emptiness and stagnation living on the streets.

But, his arrival at Tendoukyuu made him have a new spirit and purpose.

After completing all her training, the young girl managed to establish a contract with Alastor and become the Flame Haze of her dreams.

This was the path chosen by the girl herself. A young girl sincerely struggled from the bottom of her heart.

"Fight to keep the balance of the world."

This is the girl's mission and dream.

And when the young girl was about to travel around the world to eradicate the evil Denizen, the nanny said, "Now, you have to handle everything yourself."

For the girl, the nanny is not only a nanny who has taken care of her, but also a mother and sister.

The woman then continued her words, "You are now a Flame Haze, you don't need to worry about others. And also, you don't need anyone else's help."

This mindset was embedded in the young girl's mind. A mindset where he must fight alone without the help of others.

Even when Ryan was hit by a crushing attack, he still did not let go of his embrace and continued to protect Shana.

This made his pride stained. To Shana, the Flame Haze did not need anyone else's help. But what is happening now is the opposite.

Shana who has high self-esteem, certainly will not allow this.

With the rest of her strength, Shana who Ryan had laid on the ground started to wake up and clasped a corner of Ryan's clothes.

"This is my fight! You can't interfere!" 

Shana's eyes began to re-emit the flames indicating her strong spirit had not been extinguished at all 

"I am the Flame Haze. It's my job to fight Denizen and keep the balance of the world!"

Shana ignored all the pain in her body and tried to stand up with it. 

Shana then looked directly at Sydonay and whispered with great emphasis. "It makes no sense that there is a Denizen that cannot be defeated. I will definitely defeat him!"

With such a thought, Shana injected her power into Odachi Nietono no Shana and accelerated her pace. 

Shana who walked with staggering steps, made Alastor speechless. Alastor's heart was so sick to see Shana who kept trying to fight with such a body condition.

But Alastor knew that stopping Shana like this was a waste. If Shana is already determined on one goal, she does not stop until that goal is achieved.

Sydonay also looked at Shana with eyes filled with irony.

Until finally, Ryan who had been silent since, suddenly stretched out his hand and pulled Shana's body.

Shana's weak body could no longer keep her balance. With a chaotic move, Shana finally fell into Ryan's embrace.

Shana who was stunned by all this, raised her head violently and looked into Ryan's eyes full of anger as well as embarrassment.

"A-a-what are you doing?! Quickly let go of me!" shana shouted with a slight weakness. 

Shana thrashed trying to escape from Ryan's embrace. But the weak condition of his body made this effort a waste.

Looking at Shana like that, Ryan rubbed his head and said softly, "Shana, rest up and leave all this to me."

"I can't let you keep fighting with a body like this."

As Shana was about to refute her words, Ryan immediately said with a little emphasis. "After all, this was my fight from the beginning."

"I knew you would definitely protest and say that defeating Denizen was your mission. But, I don't care at all."

"Reiji Maigo is mine. And he tried to take it from me. Therefore, logically, this is my personal fight."     

Hearing all this, Shana's hands shook. He also bit his own lips, as if he was holding back the frustration that was running through him now.  

But, on the one hand, Shana felt that what Ryan said was right. From the beginning, Reiji Maigo was Ryan's. If Ryan wants to face his own enemies who are trying to seize him, that is his right.

"I have absolutely no desire to deny your mission. However, I want you not to disregard my rights here." Ryan then said, "This world is not yours, so don't think that this mission is yours alone."

Shana was completely dumbfounded the moment she heard it.

Ryan then sat Shana's body to the ground. After that, Ryan stared intently at Sydonay. Slowly, ice-cold blue pupils began to appear.
