Stella's slow footsteps led her into the courtyard of Evercius Palace. He immediately walked to his father's office.
"Good morning, Princess."
Some gardeners greeted Stella every time she walked.
"Good morning, Princess."
The servants who were passing by greeted him with smiles.
"Good morning, Princess."
The butler also gave him a greeting every time they met.
Now Stella was used to the greetings given by the workers at Evercius Palace. Ever since he had a fever that had ravaged the entire palace, everyone's treatment of him had changed. Every time Stella met them, they would greet her with a smile.
Stella tries to get used to the warm treatment from them, but still it feels strange.
"Is the Princess going to see His Majesty?"
"Yes." Yeah."
Stella nodded as she extended her hand to the butler.
"Please show me the way."
"Good."
The butler immediately grabbed Stella's hand and held her. They walked towards King Shavir's office. When she gets there, Stella accidentally meets her sword trainer, Jesriel.
"Jeez, my beautiful student!"
Jesriel smiled broadly as she waved her hand towards Stella. Stella approached Jesriel and saw the orange-haired man wearing luxurious clothes.
"Why is the teacher here?" stella asked, then pointed to the clothes that Jesriel was wearing. "Will Master go to the party?"
Today Jesriel wears formal attire for knights, which is usually worn when going to a celebration party, so Stella thinks that Jesriel is going to someone's party.
*(A/N: in addition to being Stella's sword teacher, Jesriel is a knight)
Contrary to his thoughts, Jesriel shook her head.
"No. This handsome teacher of yours did not attend any parties. I came here because I was summoned by His Majesty the King," he replied, opening the door of the king's office. "Wouldn't this beautiful disciple of mine also see His Majesty? So let's go see him together."
"Oh, okay."
Stella releases her hand from her father's palace butler, Juna.
"Thank you for driving me. See you, Juna."
"May the Kingdom of Evergard always be blessed," Juna replied in homage, then Stella and Jesriel entered the office of King Shavir, after which Juna left from there.
***
Stella entered her father's office. His eyes were focused on the two men who were looking back at him. However, one of them caught Stella's attention.
The pink hair...?
Stella seemed to have seen such hair color, but she did not remember ever meeting that person where.
Meanwhile, King Shavir who was conversing with his guest immediately glanced towards the door when he sensed the whereabouts of someone. He immediately smiled as he saw Stella who had come.
"Oh, Stella. Come here." Come here."
Stella walked towards her father. The two men, who were the guests of King Shavir, consciously turned towards Stella. Their gazes met and Stella was shocked upon seeing them.
Nicole...?
Stella recognized one of them. She was Nicole, the knight she helped in Whiteback Forest. Then Stella's eyes turned toward someone who had pink hair that had attracted her attention.
Then he is ... "The "Prince of Flowers" back then?!
Ever since Stella met Esther, she had called her the "Prince of Flowers" in her heart, because the boy's hair color resembled a cherry blossom. Another reason was also because of the boy's soft and shy speech. Now, however, Stella is not convinced that the boy is the same person she met in Whiteback Forest.
It was because his aura and appearance were already different! So different!
In front of Stella, Esther wore the official attire of a noble, affirming her charming good looks. His plain-looking gentle expression was no longer there, replaced with a dignified expression suitable for adults. If there was no Nicole next to him, then Stella would have thought that Esther had a twin sister.
Can one change so quickly in such a short time?!
Stella wanted to ask the boy, but eventually she realized that no one recognized her as "Ellia", because now she was "Daughter of Stella".
Then Stella smiled and lifted her skirt slightly, while her right leg was bent backwards.
"It's nice to meet you guys."
"Give respect to the Princess. May the Kingdom of Evergard always be blessed."
Esther and Nicole paid homage in unison, after which the tribute was completed.
"Stella, come here."
Stella walked towards King Shavir. Then he saw the man patting his thighs.
Please, not at a time like this!
Then, Stella smiled and subtly refused.
"Dad, I'm a big boy. Sitting there rather―"
"It's okay."
"But here―"
"No one will see."
"Of course there are those that―"
"Sit down."
"Ukh...."
Stella bit her lower lip, feeling frustrated.
No one saw what? Who do you think the three men in this room are?! They're not human, are they?!
"Stella´s. Sit down."
King Shavir smiled as he patted his thighs, but a terrible pressure poured out around him.
Glug.
Stella swallowed her saliva. King Shavir's strength was indeed not comparable to his great strength, but he should not use his power here. Because Esther and Nicole saw the power. She must keep her identity a secret as "Ellia".
"Stella will sit down, Dad."
Then Stella walked stiffly. His snail-like footsteps made King Shavir intervene. He lifted Stella's little body and sat her on his lap.
"OK, already," he said in a satisfied tone.
His purple eyes looked at Esther and Nicole, then turned to look at Jesriel.
"This is my daughter. Name―"
"Oh, Nicole!"
"Jesriel? Long time no see!"
Jesriel, the man who cut King Shavir's words, accidentally meets Nicole, his best friend since he trained in a special knight camp. They hugged each other and threw laughter at each other, completely ignoring the terrible expression of King Shavir.
"Silent. Or the. Die."
A cold spell shocked the couple. They shuddered and then shivered. Their eyes stared brokenly at King Shavir.
"Yes-His Majesty .... Mo-please forgive us...."
King Shavir did not reply, but glared at them sharply. Sensing no mercy in the king's eyes, Jesriel turned to stare at Stella with a hearty look. His eyes seemed to say "Please, this handsome teacher of yours, my beautiful student".
Stella couldn't ignore Jesriel's glare because it bothered her so much. Then he patted the chest of King Shavir's field. With a sad face, watery wide rounded eyes and a super cute voice that sounded soft, Stella launched her action.
"Dad .. don't get mad at them. They look scared. They're also important guests that Dad said, right? Ya~ Ya~?"
[Heart!]
Stella could imagine such writing in pink being the background of King Shavir. Just look at his shaken face, as if an arrow shot at his heart shaped like love.
*(A/N: gini cake shape ♡ means >///<)
Moments later, the cold that surrounded Jesriel and Nicole disappeared. The expression on King Shavir's face slowly softened.
"All right."
*Successful!
It worked!
Successfully*!
Stella, Jesriel, and Nicole cheered inwardly, saying the same word.
"Oh, right. I called you because I wanted to introduce you to Duke Ronnight's heir. It's Esther Aubrey Ronnight."
Huh huh? Duke's heir?
Stella rounded her eyes in surprise.
Isn't he a prince? How can I be the heir to the duke?!
As if unsatisfied by Stella's surprise, King Shavir spoke again, dropping an enormous bomb.
"Once upon a time your fiancee."
WHWHAT? MY FIANCEE-TO-BE?!
