CHAPTER 7. Reconnaissance Force

The next morning, Evans who had tried to sleep turned out to be unable to sleep at all and vividly remembered the rejection that Laura had said that George had conveyed to her.

“Hah! Damnit damnit! Why am I being like?” evans muttered with an annoyed facial expression with a tired face that left George who had come along with several servants surprised by Evans' unusual appearance.

“I'm fine! Just prepare me some warm water! I want to shower now!” muttered Evans in a cold tone of voice while lowering his propped head with both hands.

George, who did not understand what was happening, nodded his head and gave the code to the servant who came with him, doing everything Evans ordered.

Meanwhile, Laura who woke up in a very good feeling also felt if her body felt very healthy.

“Argh! As long as I moved here, I never felt this healthy.” Laura muttered in a low voice that made Rika who was looking at Laura smile happily join in.

Rika who has prepared everything also helps Laura to prepare herself and in a short time Laura has become a very beautiful and graceful woman.

“Of course. Thank you, Rika!” laura said with a big smile while looking at Rika's departure through the front door.

Rika who came to bring lunch had to stand at the door long enough to call Laura who was focusing on her reading.

“Mrs! Madam! Mistress!” call Rika in a soft voice while knocking on the door several times until finally Laura who realized there was a voice rushed to hide her book and went to the door.

“Rika!” laura shouted in a slightly surprised voice with her eyes wide open and let Rika in with a lunch.

Rika who does not want to question what Laura is doing so that she does not hear her call is trying to trust Laura.

Rika who put the lunch menu she brought before Laura and arranged it so beautifully that it made Laura feel very hungry.

Laura who felt very hungry because she ran out of energy to master the Book she read was unknowingly spending all the food brought by Rika which made Rika smile cheerfully.

“Alright! I'll try to do some reconnaissance now!” laura said in a slightly loud voice with a serious facial expression with a sharp eye.

Laura who realized that the Wind Power could be used for reconnaissance since the Wind or Air would always be around humans therefore the Wind Power could be used to know what people were talking about as long as we could recognize the tone of voice of the person through the wind.

Laura who tried to focus her mind also changed herself as if into a calm wind with her eyes closed.

Laura who slowly focused herself was finally able to hear the voices of the people behind her bedroom door.

“Hmmm, what happened to Madam? Why did he just stay in the room and not come out at all for a few days?”

Laura who heard the servant talking about her smiled cynically and refocused her mind to find Evans' voice and find out what he said.

But before Laura reached Evans who was talking to George, Laura felt very weak.

Laura who continued to try to practice using Wind Power until the afternoon without stopping realized her limits.

“Hmmm, after practicing three times with an hour of rest makes a long time I can listen to the words of the people in this House is five minutes with a distance of about ten meters!” murmured Laura with a very tired facial expression while leaning on the sofa with a very limp body.

Rika who came to see Laura became very surprised and quickly helped Laura to recover her strength back by giving her some vitamins.

Laura who heard Rika's words felt very touched and involuntarily shed tears and hugged Rika very tightly while whispering something.

“Thank you for always being by my side and supporting me. Believe that! I promise I won't let anyone down again!” laura said with a gentle smile while wiping away her tears.
