The Power Of Love

The Power Of Love
City square

Alex fused his forehead and tightened his body. "Be my wife, I'll give it all for you."

Zanitha fell silent, not knowing what she was thinking.

"Sir, please don't do this." Zanitha slightly pushed Alex's chest. Unfortunately, it did not shift from its place.

"What's wrong, didn't we enjoy it the same ?" Alex smiled with a smile.

Zanitha lowered her head, her face could be sure was blushing pink. His lips twitched while holding his wide smile. His heart was screaming happily.

"Aaaaaaa what is this feeling, ...!!" inner Zanitha happy.

"What's up, put your face on, why look down so." asked Alex holding Zanitha's chin.

Zanitha poked her lips and looked at Alex's face. "Please don't stare at me like that, I'm ashamed." Zanitha turned her face away. Moments like this really want to scream as loud as possible.

"What's wrong with me? I'm not usually like this, am I interested in him, even just holding my hand has made me happy. I feel so nervous." Zanitha's inner frustration.

"Hey.. hey.. why? You're blushing...!!" alex and made him smile.

"Are you this first close to a man hemm... Oh christ.." Alex stepped aside and sat him down on the couch. His right hand he put on the back of the chair . He won a lot tonight.

"Come here, we'll talk for a second." Alex said looking back at Zanitha who was still standing stiff at the beginning.

"Eh.iya."

Zanitha then sat across from Alex with a table. He leaned back and locked Alex's face in front of him.

"Tell me, why don't you marry me.!" alex asked no more words.

"I'm not ready to commit sir, I still want to be free. If you want to get married soon, you should look for another woman" Zanitha said without blinking.

"Why is that? Do you think life after marriage will hold you back?"

"Yes, and that's what's not ready for me."

"You're too narrow-minded miss" said Alex propping up his chin.

"What was the reason you asked me to get married? We just met tonight. You also do not know me well, even though we are betrothed, but there should be a process of exploration first, not directly invite marriage. Now tell me what's your excuse, sir !?" Zanitha asked Alex.

"Because I'm interested in you."

Zanitha raised her brow next to him, feeling like that was not the answer she wanted.

"Why are you looking at me like that.? Is there something wrong with my answer? It doesn't seem to exist. If I say love, it's too early. That's the best answer I think." Alex said sucks.

Zanitha took a deep breath, not wanting to let out her emotions in front of Alex.

"Well, if there's nothing to talk about anymore, I beg you to resign. Thank you for entertaining me so well. Excuse me sir." said Zanitha who began to leave.

"Wait for the lady, let me take you home.!" stop Alex, pull Zanitha's wrist.

"No need sir, I still want to stop by. I can go home by myself. Thank you." Thank you."

"Don't turn me down.!I don't want to get into my mama's nagging.!" alex is not to be denied.

"Hey, whatever."

Alex took the keys to the car and the jacket.

While Zanitha wears a mask on his face so that it is not easily recognized by others when out of Alex's private room. Alex just took a quick glance at what the girl was doing. His mind asked, "is he ashamed to walk with me.?"

Reluctant to think badly, Alex walked ahead first. Alex sells his handsome face greeting visitors he knows as he passes them.

"He's handsome when he's smiling so kindly." his mind praised. Then followed Alex's wide stride behind him towards the parking lot of his car.

"Where do you live?" alex asked when he was in the car and put on his seat belt.

"House service. Please put me down in the town square. I want to buy something there."

Alex just nodded and drove his car. Both of them seemed silent, no one opened the chat. Alex focused on the wheel, while Zanitha looked dreamy, not knowing what she was daydreaming about.

Car tires finally stopped across the city square, Alex put his car on the shoulder of the road. After raising the brake hand, he opened his seat belt.

"We've arrived miss.!" alex said to disperse Zanitha's daydream.

"Eh..Ah, thank you, sir." Zanita unbuckles her seatbelt and prepares to get out. Alex just looked at Zanitha until her body came out of her car. Zanitha waved her hand saying good-bye, only to nod Alex's head.

Sunday night traffic was more crowded than usual. Many young people from the lower middle class spend their time in the city square. Just relaxing or hanging out with friends.

Alex walked over to Zanitha and took the girl by the hand. His right hand he stretched out to the side, to stop the speeding vehicle.

Zanitha gasped, seeing Alex coming to her aid. Suddenly his heart warmed, a faint smile rose from his lips.

"Thank you sir." said Zanitha after arriving at the edge.

"Hem."

Zanitha with sparkling eyes approached the satay man to know his subscription. Here, Zanitha's favorite food from childhood. He did not care much smoke flying due to burning charcoal, he was still willing to queue for his favorite food.

"Order two servings, sir, I'll wait there.!" show Zanitha.

"Good non. Wait a minute." replied the seller.

"OK."

Zanitha walked over to Alex who had been standing quietly across his chest, making himself the center of attention. Alex's appearance looks too flashy if only to just walk the street in the city square. He then invited Alex to sit down under a tree.

"Are you here a lot." asked Alex who was sitting cross-legged.

"Of course, it's my favorite food. I was a kid every night here. Is it okay sir to sit like that here..?" zanitha asked unwell.

"It's ok" said Alex who opened the notification on his phone.

"Dreams of what I can date with a man in this square." Inner Zanitha looked at Alex embarrassedly.

After the order came, Zanitha thrust a plate of satay to know Alex. Alex stared at the food as if he was reluctant to eat it.

"Didn't Mister doyan sate know? Ah forgive me, I forgot you are rich, surely you are not used to eating like this what else in a place like this." said Zanitha then took Alex's plate.

"no need. I can eat it. I haven't eaten like you either. Let me eat it." said Alex holding Zanitha's hand so as not to get rid of the plate.

"Eh. yes please eat sir."

Both of them are busy with their food. His eyes occasionally glanced at each other and stole a glance. There was no conversation between them. Only the sound of the music of the cassette seller next door made the atmosphere look crowded.

Silently, Alex smiled faintly as she looked at Zanitha's calm face. His heart thumped as his gaze rubbed with Zanitha's eyes. It was his own misdeed.

"Don't look at me like that sir, I'm not that pretty."

Alex smiled wryly, "I'm surprised, the mayor's son is here, not in the cafe like any other kid."

"Sometimes simplicity is necessary sir. But the most important thing in my opinion is to be yourself. Yes like this is me, Em Sir, sorry if there was a word that I offended you. I hope there will be no problems in the future. I think in the future we can be good friends."

"Alright I agree, we can be friends first. But don't forget, I'm your future husband." replied Alex sucks.

"Don't go too far thinking, sir, today I'm your match, don't know if in the future, maybe you even marry someone else" said Zanitha calmly.

Alex gasped at the girl's words. His heart was suddenly upset that if he was told to choose between Zanitha or Selly, the two women did not seem to be easily forgotten Alex just like that. Two different women of character. Zanitha looked calmer and friendlier, while Selly was colder and harder to the touch.

"Ehemm, so what's your job now?" ask Alex to switch the conversation

"I work at the cake shop, sir, if you'd like to stop by Greenmall, we've got the best bread in town."

"Hemm," Alex nodded.

"Sir, since our food is up, what if we walk there. Don't you mind?"

Alex nodded and gave the seller a hundred thousand fractions.

The two men walked hand in hand along the grass field, Alex's hands were put in his pants pocket, while Zanitha chose to cross the chest to keep the night wind into his body.

"You don't have a hand either." Zanitha looked at Alex's hand.

Alex, who understood the glance of the girl's eyes, immediately grabbed Zanitha's waist and pulled in her arms without caring for the girl's response.

"Ehhh.."
