The Phoenix Blood Legend

The Phoenix Blood Legend
Ch. 47 — Mysterious Mist

Emperor Jie then read a spell in Beast language while moving both hands in a certain pattern.

And ... The giant gate was instantly opened wide after Emperor Jie finished reciting the incantation.

Emperor Jie then led the two of them into the Thunder Phoenix tomb. During the journey, the three of them walked very carefully because this tomb held a lot of traps whose existence was unpredictable.

Only those who are destined to be the guardians of this tomb alone know the exact location where these traps exist. And, Emperor Jie happened to be the Thunder Phoenix Tomb Guard in the current generation.

The road in this tomb was very complicated and many branches in the form of small alleys. At first glance, the location of this ancient tomb is like a nest of an ant that contains dozens of hallways as a cheat to protect the most important room.

“It seems that inside your head there is a map of this Thunder Phoenix Tomb,” praise Xing Wang when he saw Emperor Jie very easily determine the direction to avoid all the traps that exist in this tomb.

“In my head there is indeed a map from the tomb of the Thunder Phoenix that was passed down for generations. However, this map can only be read by my bloodline alone,” Emperor Jie replied as he pointed towards his head.

The three of them finally arrived at a room filled with extremely powerful lightning energy. The thunderbolts continued to snatch nonstop and left an explosive sound that continued to hum in a simple manner.

“There is something strange about this room. The lightning energy present within this room was too powerful and could be compared to the power of the heavenly lightning. If we get struck, we will definitely get quite serious injuries,” Xing Wang said frowning as he stared at the thunderbolts that continued to churn before him.

There Xing Wang and Shen Yin Ye saw a gigantic phoenix-sized skeleton whose body was enveloped with a stream of electricity.

“It was the place where the Thunder Phoenix fell. However, it is not easy to approach this place even me though. The two of you should put in effort yourself starting from here if you want to obtain the inheritance of the Thunder Phoenix,” continued Maharaja Jie explained.

Xing Wang felt challenged by Emperor Jie's explanation. He decided to approach the place and see for himself what kind of obstacles would stand in his way.

Despite the slight hesitation, but Xing Wang still decided to continue the journey because he did not want to look so weak in front of Shen Yin Ye.

After stepping a few meters away, Xing Wang suddenly sensed that something was strange as a thick fog mysteriously appeared and covered his gaze.

The fog was as if it was taking him to a different place as his body could clearly sense the drastically changing difference in air temperature.

A room that had a hot air temperature and a little stuffy like a Goa, suddenly turned cool like standing in the middle of a flower garden.

Xing Wang continued on with an extra cautious move as his gaze was still covered with a thick fog. However, the changes that occurred in this place made his mind feel a little more relaxed.
