Chapter 56: The First Day of the Academy
1217 In July.
I woke up from my sleep. I checked the clock on the wall, time showed at 5 a.m. There is still 3 hours left until the start of learning at the academy. I could've gone to bed again but I didn't, because I'd rather exercise in the morning. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face. After that I changed into the clothes I usually use for sports. Then I rushed out of my dorm to start the sport. After I opened the door it turned out that the atmosphere outside the dormitory was very quiet. Yes understandably probably many of them are still asleep because the clock still shows at 5 am. I went downstairs and went to the dormitory gate. When I got out of the dormitory gate, I warmed up first and then I ran towards the fountain in front of the lobby. Not only did I arrive at the fountain, I intended to run around the academy starting from the gate of the dormitory and then pass the fountain in front of the lobby, lodging teachers and guests, he said, the garden behind the academy then returned again to the dormitory gate. I kept running until it didn't feel like I had done 2 rounds of running around the academy. While doing the third round, when I passed the park, I saw a woman running from the store while carrying a bag containing cooking ingredients. As he ran, two potatoes fell out of his shopping bag. But he did not realize that the potato had fallen. I took the initiative to run to get the potato and screamed to tell the woman that the potato had fallen. But he didn't listen, so I ran after him. I kept shouting to him while running until he finally stopped when he wanted to enter the dorm area. When I shouted to him, he looked over.
"Hmm what is it?" said the woman.
"Here, this potato fell out of your shopping bag" I said.
"Potatoes?" said the woman puzzled as she checked her shopping bag.
After looking at his shopping bag, he realized that the potatoes he bought were reduced and immediately thanked me for bringing it.
"Thank you" said the woman, looking down.
"Sama-sama," I said.
"Then, excuse me" said the woman.
If noticed, the woman resembled princess Irene because her gaze looked cold and did not display any expression. And again I just realized that her hair is also white like princess Irene. But her face did not look like that of princess Irene.
Then the woman ran and stopped at the gate of the dormitory. Then the woman came in.
"That's a dormitory complex for the second year, so that woman is my senior huh?" I thought.
I continued my run and finally arrived at the gate of the first year dormitory. That means I've completed 3 rounds of running. Even though it had been 3 rounds, I continued my run until I finally managed to complete 5 rounds of running. At that time, there were already quite a number of students who had come out of their respective dormitories. Maybe there are those who want to exercise or just feel the morning air. Because I think my sport is enough. I decided to go back to my dormitory to take a shower and make breakfast.

After taking a shower, I decided to make breakfast from the ingredients I bought. Since I have lived alone since my grandfather's death, I don't worry about living independently in this academy for 4 years. After making breakfast and eating it, I prepared to change into the academy uniform. The uniform is like a white shirt and is equipped with a blue blazer behind which there is a symbol of the San Fulgen Academy, then for the pants are black. We were given 5 pairs per student. Maybe just in case if our uniforms are dirty, tomorrow we just change them. 5 pairs of uniforms for 5 days of study at the academy in a week.
After wearing the uniform, because the time has shown at 7 am I immediately rushed to the academy. Don't forget I brought my bag too with the sword given by the academy. I got out of the dorm, and then I thought about whether I should go to Charles, Chloe, Noa and Enzo first. Since yesterday there were no plans to go to the academy together, I thought it would be okay if I went to the academy first. Then I got down from the dormitory and walked to the academy gate then continued walking all the way to the lobby. Then I continued walking until I finally entered the inner part of the academy. I saw a lot of buildings on my left and right and the building in the middle was the academy cafeteria I frequented. According to supervisor Alan, the building for the first year is on the left side and the road from the lobby to the building forms a corner of 60°. I think I know the building. I also walked towards the building.
"So this building is yes" I said.
The first year building is the building on the left which is close to the lobby.
"When I just say that the building is on the left side close to the lobby, why talk about the corner" I thought.
Come to think of it, I just realized that the buildings within this academy formed the pattern of Snowflakes (snowflakes). There are 6 buildings including the lobby surrounding the building in the middle, and the middle building which is this canteen is a link with 6 other buildings. The 6 buildings that surround this central building have the same size, it looks like these 6 buildings both have 5 floors. While the building in the middle was the largest building on its own, I had no idea how many floors the building was on. On the 1st floor of the building is the cafeteria.
After that, I entered the building for the first year in search of my class. And finally I found my class which was Class A was at the end of the 1st floor. I immediately entered the class. The class was shaped like an auditorium with the rear bench at the highest position in the class, then slowly decreased on each bench in front of it, like a staircase. Conditions are still quite quiet even though there are some who come. I went into that class and immediately looked for my seat. Because it seems free to choose a seat, I also choose to sit on the back bench. After a while, the class started to get crowded with students. Noa also came with Charles and Chloe but there was no Enzo there.
"Oy Rid, why did you come to class first?" asked Noa.
"Well, I thought it was okay to come to class first because we didn't make a pact to go together" I said.
"It's Noa, maybe Rid does prefer to come early to class" said Charles.
"Yes already. It's okay Rid if you want to go to class first. But at least when you go home, you have to come home with us" said Noa.
"Yes, yes" I said.
"By the way, Rid. Are these chairs empty?" asked Charles, pointing at the chairs lined up next to me.
"Yes, no one has occupied. Sit down if you want" I said.
The three of them also sat in the back seat. Noa sat to my left, Chloe sat to my right while Charles sat to Chloe's right.
After that, Enzo also came and not long after came Irene's daughter and her two assistants.
"I didn't know that his two assistants were in this class either. Maybe because I didn't know the names of the two of them so I didn't realize when I checked the list of participants who passed in the order of 1-40," I thought.
After that, the time shows at 8 am which is where the class will begin immediately. Not long after, someone dressed like a teacher entered the classroom. That person was Alan's supervisor, the other students also realized that it was Alan's supervisor.
"Good morning, everybody" said superintendent Alan.
"Wait a minute, supervisor Alan. What's Alan's supervisor doing here?" said one of the students.
"Hmm ? ah, looks like you guys don't know yet. I'm not a watchdog anymore. I became the supervisor to oversee the entrance exam. Before being appointed as the head of the entrance examination supervisor, I was previously a teacher as well. So you should know why I'm here?" said superintendent Alan.
"Don't tell me that superintendent Alan will be a teacher here?" said one of the students.
"That's right" said superintendent Alan.
"Whataaaa?!?!?!," said the shocked disciples.
"Supervisor Alan will be our teacher?" said one of the students.
"Hey I told you not to call me superintendent anymore" said Alan's teacher.
"Everybody knows who I am. But let me introduce myself once more. My name is Alan Hugo, I'm going to teach this class. Not only as a teacher but I'll also be the homeroom teacher in this class" said homeroom teacher Alan.
"Whataaaaa?!?!?!?!," said the surprised disciple.
"Not only become a teacher but also become a homeroom teacher here?!?!, said one of the students.
"Please help all of you. In that case, can we just start the lesson right away?," asked homeroom teacher Alan.
