The Old House Papa
Chapter 23.

Hesti was still in the same state, from morning until evening when Romi came home he was still silent with his pale face. But now he prefers to sit in a rocking chair, leading to the outside door next to their house.

Romi was more confused to see the attitude of his wife, when Romi came home even Hesti did not welcome him as usual. He would rather sit in his rocking chair, and be alone there staring out at the garden of his house.

"Honey enter yuk day is getting night, later you will be cold."

"Mas has brought your favorite food, let's eat together at the dinner table" Romi told his wife's Westi.

Hesti did not flinch or say a single break to Romi, he simply walked with an empty look, and his body felt extremely cold when touched by Romi.

Hesty sat down on her dining table, and she ate her food with an empty look, even if it was chewed twice, and then swallowed into her stomach.

Romi still does not understand and does not know what has happened to his wife. And he plans to take his wife to the hospital tomorrow for treatment. It just so happens that tomorrow is a weekend, and Romi has time to take his wife to the hospital.

They had dinner at exactly 18:30, and by then Maghrib's time would have come. Hesti suddenly shouted and turned his head he grabbed his hair and also hurt himself.

"Thanks...!"

I'll kill you!"

"I hate you so much!"

"I'll kill you hahaha...."

There was a laughing sound from the mouth of Hesti, but Romi was very creepy to hear it, he knew that the voice was not the voice of Hesty, but the voice of a creature out of nowhere. All he knew was that it was a curious spirit figure.

Romi ran away in fear when he saw Hesti floating in the air, and he vanished out of nowhere. Romi went into his room and he was very frightened and wrapped himself in the bed. He did not understand what had happened to his wife, and Romi was so frightened that he even shivered and cried.

"Hesty what really happened to you, why did you become like this and where are you now, Hesti?" Romi muttered with his shivering tone.

The sound of laughter was no longer heard echoing in the house, Romi realized and he opened the blanket that covered his face.

When Romi opened the blanket, and turned to stare, then he saw Nesti beside his body lying on the bed. Romi was surprised to see that Hesti was already beside him, with his eyes closed as if he was sleeping soundly.

Romi notices his wife's attitude, and he makes sure that it's his wife or not. He made a gesture to make sure his wife was sleeping or just pretending to be asleep. Romi's heart was still beating so fast and fear was still enveloping inside him, he did not know which his real wife was. So he slightly doubted the woman beside him.

"Haesty!"

"Haesty!"

"Yes mas?"

"I'm very sleepy, mas if you want anything to do yourself, yes, Hesty is very sleepy" said Hesty who did look very sleepy.

Romi could not speak or say anything to his wife, this time he was a little relieved that this woman beside him was really his wife. Romi also felt like sleeping, suddenly he felt very sleepy, his body I feel tired and his fear was gradually gone.

Right at 24:00 p.m., Romi woke up because of his thirst. He looked to the side and there was no Nesti on their bed. Romi was worried again and he immediately came out of the room, looking to and fro to find Nesti back.

Romi looked around his house that Nesti was still missing, Romi was getting worried and he shouted calling out the name of Nesti inside the house.

"Hest... Where are you?"

"Where are you? What are you doing now?" Romi kept calling his wife's name but there was no reply from anywhere by Hesti.

Then suddenly Hesty came out of the bathroom of the living room, Romi was surprised to see Histi coming out of the bathroom with his gaze empty again and also with his pale face.

Romi walked up to Hesti quickly, through him pulling with Hesti and asking his wife. The hand-drawn Nesti turned around and looked at Romi in front of the bathroom.

"You must say in the bathroom that the light is broken and also the water tap is not on." Romi asked Hesti curiously.

"The bathroom is fine, everything is fine, the lights are on too, the tap water is coming out. I just want to be in that bathroom." Histi said with his slow and raucous voice, Romi heard it until he had goosebumps on his back.

"I'd rather be in the bathroom it's bigger and prettier." said Hesti again in a quiet and raucous voice.

After saying to Romi, Hesti then went back into the room, he sat down on the edge of the bed, then pulled out his blanket and slept on the bed. Romi was still staring at his wife from the door of his room as if he could not believe his current wife.

Romi was also so astonished by his wife, who Romi had been looking for him to and fro, had even called him but Hesti did not answer in the least. Then suddenly, hesti came out of the bathroom, which was actually very dirty, even the lights were not on for a long time.

More to the surprise of the husband again, Hesty said the bathroom was nice big and also beautiful. Then Romi plans tomorrow to take his wife to check up as soon as possible.

The next morning Romi woke up surprised, seeing that Hesti was on top of his body, with eyes glaring at him. Hesty looked at him then smiled widely with a blank look, his face still looked pale and the culprit was a little strange as usual.

But Romi as a good husband he still stroked and hugged Nesti with affection. Not long after, Romi and Nesti woke up, Romi immediately took a bath and told Hesti to also get ready to take a bath. And again Hesty took a bath in the bathroom of the living room that was a little neglected.

Her husband only paid attention to his wife and his current behavior, actually when he just entered the house he now occupies, he said, the middle-aged woman had already said that the bathroom was broken and did not need to be used.

And the bathroom had been unused for a long time, even before they occupied the house, it was locked even the key went nowhere. At this time, the bathroom door was opened by Hesti, and there was also water coming out of the tap very smoothly and there was no problem. Romi was very confused and in disbelief, the bathroom which was all broken and the door was locked, now came back good when used by Nesti for bathing and others.
