The wind blew past Anna who was still waiting for her mother and aunt's body to be lowered from the top of the crane. Barrow helps the others, tonight they're really busy. The old castle bears a silent witness to what has happened tonight. There were no reporters covering because the mission was indeed so secret.
Anna noticed the leaves rolling under her feet, the still burning flames swaying as they were blown by the wind. A strange feeling he felt when the wind hit him, but Anna did not think too much about it because she was worried about the situation of her mother and aunt who had been hanging for so long up there.
The bodies of the mother and aunt were lowered in a safe place, where far from the flames were still raging. Thanks to the fire, the place became light. Anna ran to greet her mother's body first. Her mother was really weak, her body was already cold from the night breeze. Hunger and dehydration made her even more helpless.
His mother was not even able to stand up anymore, of course it made Anna very surprised and screamed in fear.
"Mom!" his shout attracted Barrow's attention so the young man ran towards him.
"Mom, what's going on? Are you all right?" yelled Anna again.
"A-Anna," her mother's hand had been raised to touch Anna's cheek but her mother's hand had fallen to the side with no strength.
"Don't force yourself, Mom. I'll ask them to take you to the hospital immediately!" Anna tries to recover the body of her mother who is helpless.
"Let me" said Barrow, who had taken over Anna's mother's body.
"My mother and aunt should be taken care of immediately, Barrow" Anna said. He was really scared of their situation. Hopefully, his mother and aunt will not be late to be handled because of their circumstances are so weak.
"Give them both to me, you take care of the others!" Barrow holds Anna's mother and asks someone to bring Anna's aunt whose condition is not much different from her brother's.
Anna entrusted her mother and aunt to Barrow, she had to take care of the others but her steps came to a halt when Lucia who had been running towards her had already hugged her. Lucia cries sobbing in Anna's arms, today she actually meets Anna but under different circumstances because she thinks they will meet and Nick proposes to Anna.
"Thank you, Brother. Again you helped me," said Lucia in her tears.
"Don't thank me, I'm so glad you can still save me for this incident."
"I really didn't expect it to turn out that Nick and my dad were behind all this" Lucia said.
"Nobody thought, did they? Not even me. I didn't suspect him at all because he was so good yet someone he loved and who he had killed so vilely made me realize he wasn't as good as we saw."
"Why didn't Anna tell me this? Why are you hiding this from me and Mommy?"
"Sorry, Lucia. I have to be quiet so that the plan I have arranged is not messy. I have to stop all this because that's why I can't tell you and let what Mariana and Nick want go according to their plan."
Lucia said nothing more but she still hugged Anna. She was truly grateful to be able to meet Anna Baker who had saved her life many times.
"Now, what should I do?" ask Lucia.
"Life well with your mother."
"Can I still meet Anna's sister?"
"Of course, come to my house whenever you want. Now that you're safe, no one's gonna hurt you again."
"Thank you, sister," Lucia let go of her embrace and smiled sweetly.
Anna smiles, a sweet girl who is still lucky because she became the last victim chosen by Mariana so that Lucia can be saved. Lucia stepped back because her mother wanted to talk to Anna. Maria Devan hugged Anna and thanked her. Though they live with two criminals but they can still live to this day.
"Don't think, Madam. I hope you take good care of Lucia and don't do what your husband has done."
"Of course, I couldn't have done that to my daughter. I'm not as crazy as my husband who's so brave to us."
"I'm glad to hear that, someone will take you. Go home to rest because you need it."
"Thank you, Anna" said Marian Devan. Before returning home, Lucia hugged Anna again and said she would see herself in the next few days. Although Anna could not be her sister-in-law as she wanted but they could be best friends even though they were different ages far enough.
An officer gets orders to escort Lucia and her mother back. Anna smiled and waved as they left. Done, the long night is over. The officers left the location, all Mariana's followers were taken away.
Anna thinks it's time for her to leave, but her steps are stopped when Natalie appears suddenly followed by the spirits of the other victims. Natalie was still carrying a red umbrella, but happiness emanated from her facial expression as from today she and the rest of the victims were completely free.
"We're all very grateful to you, Anna" Natalie said.
"It's my job to help all of you" Anna smiled, she did not expect to be able to free them and stop Mariana's resurrection.
"I'm very lucky to meet you, Anna. Even though they did not meet you but we are very grateful to you for freeing us from the shackles that have been holding us. If there wasn't you, maybe we'd have joined Mariana's soul and become her slave forever."
"What will happen to you after this?" Anna saw the group of spirits standing in front of her.
"We'll be back where we should have been and now is the time for us to go. Thank you for your unexpected help."
"It's nice to hear it," Anna smiled, the spirits waving towards her. One of them flew up and disappeared, the other spirit followed. They darted upwards like white smoke and disappeared but they heard their thanks they were pointing at Anna.
Anna was waving upwards, the spirits continued to dart upwards leaving the five spirits in the old house with the spirits of the old grandmother and Natalie.
"We also thank you" said the five spirits.
"I hope it's worth it after what you got from Mariana."
"Of course it's worth it. Now we are no longer shackled and no longer tormented. We're free and we can go in peace."
"Go, you don't deserve to be treated like that" Anna said.
"Thank you for setting us free" the six spirits flew up, darted quickly and disappeared. Anna looked up to see them but not for long as she was now looking at Natalie who was living alone.
"For the umpteenth time, thank you, Anna," Natalie said.
"I told you, I'm so happy to help you all, Natalie. I hope it's over and there won't be a second Mariana."
"Mariana will be no more Anna, but those who ally with the devil will always be there because worldly possessions always make people blind."
"You are right, life is good and there is evil. It's hard to eradicate but I hope there aren't any more crashes like this has happened."
"You're right, it's time for me to go" Natalie turned around, she had to go, "Thank you, Anna" she said.
Anna did not reply but her hand waved towards Natalie. Natalie's spirit drifted away, now she no longer needed to kill. The spirit that Anna referred to as the red umbrella spirit disappeared in the thick fog. Anna took a breath for a moment, she should leave immediately, because the place was already deserted. The long night was exhausting but all was done and everything went according to plan so that Mariana did not get up. It is possible that Mariana's spirit is waiting in line at the gates of hell along with her followers.
