The Middle Of The Night

The Middle Of The Night
Chapter 06 [Other Souls?]

..."Elora?"...

Charles went into a room, where his daughter was sitting on the bed, with a straight forward view.

The atmosphere of the place looked tempered, only the light from outside, and a few torches that were visible lit up the room.

..."Yea?"...

He turned his head, and straightened his body when he found out it was the father who came.

..."Dad not sleeping?" Elora made small talk, smiling sweetly as she always did....

The middle-aged man only smiled, then sat down beside his only daughter.

..."How's practice? is there any progress?"...

..."Emmm, ... it's .. I haven't mastered it yet." Elora answered with a smile....

Charles' smile was unceasingly visible, although worry began to regain control. How not, Elora completely forgot everything, including her ability in archery.

Before that incident Elora often hunted, looking for Deer in the forest with some soldiers who were always ordered to guard it.

..."I'm sorry." Elora said as she suddenly felt guilty....

..."Why apologize?" That voice sounded so soft....

..."Since I left, today I did not practice. Dad knew? Patra's so annoying, I don't want to practice with her anymore."...

Charles's forehead scowled loudly, he was confused, and did not understand what Elora meant.

..."But he's very good at archery."...

..."I know, but Patra's a bitch, Dad!"...

..."It sucks!?"...

Elora nodded her head.

..."He told me I could, and kept asking why I forgot. I'm trying to remember, trying to be able to, but ..."...

..."The milk hasn't been drunk? it'll get cold." Sergey Charles, he cut off his daughter's speech....

Elora stared, then glanced at the small table near her bed.

..."I forgot to." Elora said, she smiled....

Charles grabbed a wooden drinking place and gave it to Elora so that she could drink it.

..."Thank you, I promise I'll study hard tomorrow."...

Charles nodded, rubbing Elora's head very gently.

..."Learn if you want, don't push yourself. All you need to remember is, you can't go anywhere now. Especially without them, I don't want anything to happen to you anymore." It was obviously Charles who immediately put forward a nod from Elora...

Nothing is different, everything is the same. But why did Elora's personality change. Charles was astonished, for before Elora had never been that close to him.

His firm demeanor, nor accepting rejection made Elora feel a little shy and afraid of the middle-aged man.

...Has he lost his memory? or another soul in my child's body?...

Charles ingrained.

..."Emmm, .. I'm going to bed! the night is getting late, so you better get in the room soon, I'll be waiting."...

Charles smiled, received the glass that Elora gave him, put it in its original place, then left after kissing his daughter's forehead first.

..."Hey? you daydream again?" Bia's coming closer....

Walking towards Patra, the man who was sitting in front of a large blazing mound of fire.

Patra.

..."Your work isn't done yet?" He asked back....

..."It's been."...

..."Then why are you here? rest, you must conserve your energy, to serve the Queen and her lost child."...

Patra suddenly said so.

..."Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that he has mastered. Because of that incident, Miss Elora became someone who looked completely different, even now she was willing to talk to me." Tukas Bia's....

Of course, the girl knew very well if the Princess had a slightly closed nature, not even everyone could interact with her. But this time was different, Elora even came alone, and talked a lot with herself.

The girl sat next to one of Charles' confidant soldiers.

..."Hemm, .. and keep an eye on him not to go out alone again."...

..."Is he very dangerous?" Bia looked at Patra's face. While the man stared straight at the fireplace....

..."Clearly, the evidence is what Miss Elora is going through right now."...

..."What does the dragon want? why is he always looking for trouble with Mr Charles?"...

Patra turned her head, with her cold and flat face as usual.

..."That's none of our business. So you better go back, and get some sleep!"...

Bia speechless.

..."Wait what else? hurry in, let the men guard here."...

The woman nodded, smiled faintly then got up, and immediately walked towards a large building that she had long since made a second home.
