Chapter 4 Abah
I am the fourth of five children with Abah only working as a teacher njai and Umi is a housewife, my motivation for attending nursing was none other than because my number two was a nurse and she was the one who invited me to Purwokerto to study there while helping him in his clinic.
It just so happened that my husband was a doctor there so I could get extra pocket money by keeping watch at the clinic.
My ideals since college want to be a lecturer, not without reason because I like the world of education and rather forget if I have to be in the hospital because one of my main enemies is the night shift, my habit of sleeping regularly is very disturbing when the night shifts and if I force to stay awake then the next day I will definitely experience severe dizziness, the rest of the education world is exciting in my opinion because I like to do research since college to often follow scientific writing competitions on campus.
After completing my undergraduate studies I flew to Jakarta to find work I was finally accepted at one of the private nursing academy campuses there, two years I lived life on campus as a lecturer until I finally became an academic part of the campus I really love my job, but problems began to arise when the foundation appointed the director of the nursing academy not based on his knowledge, he said, the master department management became a director in my company until I finally had a great debate with the foundation for questioning the basis of the appointment of the director, although I actually know the real reason that he is the son of the chairman of the foundation but I want to present the arguments I have with the legal basis and the actual academic discipline, he said, because I did not get a solution I resigned and that's my reason why I had to go to full-time nursing school.
But I was not discouraged by what had happened I tried to find information on college friends, former lecturers or searching on the internet to look for master scholarships, while looking I prepared all the requirements needed for the beastisswa.
Long story short I finally got accepted at FON PSU full scholarship to hear I passed the happiest people is umi and my brother, I, my brother is old enough and has diabetes so he must routinely control to the hospital, one of the considerations why I am looking for a job in Jakarta so that every week I can go back to Cilegon to visit my brother because only the first tetah living near the abah while the younger brother is in school while lodging in Jombang, but this time it is different I am worried if I leave for Thailand and rarely visit abah, but my brother convinced me to go to Thailand and the day before my departure I had prepared a thanksgiving and prayer ceremony together for my smooth study there.
That's why I am very excited to continue college, I have sacrificed a lot and I am determined to do my best and not waste the educational opportunities that I will get there later, prayers from my brother and family that night made me more excited and a little relieved to face all the obstacles ahead because I yakit master study it is not easy especially the international class which certainly has the challenge is much more difficult than studying in the country.
