The Love That Reunites
Chapter 18

The sound of police car sirens breaks the silence of the night in the city forest. Police, medics and investigative teams filled the forest.

"I found it!" Shouted a man.

Some people approached, they saw the body of a woman without clothes, the body had rotted and was only covered in cloth.

They decided to dig around where the body was found and they found other bodies that were all female.

"We found him. Thank you for your help, we can finally solve the case of the missing schoolgirl." Someone from the police thanked him and shook Reyhan and Dimas' hands.

"Same sir" Reyhan and Dimas said.

Reyhan walked towards the very end of the bookshelf. He smiled in light of the incident, still vividly remembered in his mind every incident with Clara that made his heart pound.

Reyhan picks up a love-themed book, telling two people who have been separated for a long time and love makes them meet again. Reyhan smiled and muttered "If I could see you again, Ara"

Reyhan was swept away with the contents of the book. Until the faint sound of footsteps came at him. The fragrant perfume that the person used was enough to make Reyhan recognize who it was.

"You really came" Reyhan said softly. I don't know, ever since that incident, he didn't want to be too rough with Clara.

A while ago Clara dropped out of her class because it was a break. Clara went to the library because there was a book she wanted to borrow. Without her noticing her feet headed to a corner of the library, where her first kiss took place.

And here he was, his body fixated on staring at the handsome face of Reyhan who was reading a book seriously. The sunlight that bounced on his face added to his good looks. Reyhan leaned against the bookshelf.

Clara was still silently sculpting, still enjoying the face of a handsome young man named Reyhan.

"You really came" Reyhan said softly. I don't know, ever since that incident, he didn't want to be too rough with Clara.

Reyhan looked at Clara with a smile and closed the book he was reading. Reyhan walked up to Clara.

Clara retreated slowly, but her legs could no longer retreat because they were stuck on the bookshelf.

Reyhan approached, eroding the distance between them. Reyhan lowered his face in order to see Clara's nervous face that looked cute.

"Can't, I have to work" Clara refused.

Reyhan pulled Clara's hand towards the bookshelf containing the history books.

"I've had 2 days off, there's no way I'm on leave anymore. What if I get fired?" Clara asked, he and Reyhan had already reached the intended shelf.

"Which book?" Reyhan asked while looking at the history book.

Clara pointed to one of the books Reyhan had picked up.

"If your boss is firing you, then you can work for my dad's company" Reyhan answered Clara's question earlier.

After school, Reyhan drives Clara to the restaurant where Clara works.

They both arrived, Reyhan and Clara entered.

"New came anyway... Ra" Mira is immediately stunned by Reyhan's handsome face that comes with Clara. Likewise with other customers and employees who are in the restaurant.

"There brother" Clara pointed at the door not far from them.

"Well, really handsome and manly" said Mira holding her cheek that felt hot.

"Don't be tacky brother, kayak never see a handsome guy" Clara sneered.

"Let's wle." Mira taunts Clara.

"Oh yeah, why are you guys here? nanyain the boss room again, does he want to go to work?" Ask Mira.

"Ah, yes. Sister Mira has been in the singles for too long, so her brain is a bit exhausted when she meets Cogan. I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable" Clara replied.

Clara fell silent, 'I didn't know that Reyhan's sister had a dark story about romance. Sorry omah, maybe omah should be disappointed because Reyhan's brother actually has not healed'

The three of them also ate martabak greedily, sound of laughter in the room due to the silly behavior of Clara and joking omah Ken. Clara can see the soft and cheerful side of Reyhan that she has never seen during her time getting to know Reyhan at school.

Reyhan and Clara decided to go home. The clock shows at four in the afternoon. Reyhan and Clara are still on their way to enjoy the afternoon atmosphere.

Reyhan stopped his bike as Clara patted him on the shoulder.

Reyhan opened the glass of his helmet and asked Clara. "Why Ra?"

"Down yuk brother. We go there, it's like fun" Clara said while pointing to the place of the game rides.

Reyhan parked his bike, and took Clara in after paying for the ticket.

Reyhan takes Clara to the roller coaster arena.

"Let's go up," take Reyhan after buying a ticket.

"But I'm afraid brother" Clara said shook her head.

"What will not happen, if you are afraid to stay on hold. Come on, I really want to ride this ride" Pinta Reyhan.

Clara finally relented as Reyhan continued to whine at her. To be honest he wanted to laugh at Reyhan's childlike expression pleading with his mother to buy him ice cream.

The two of them climbed up, and the roller coaster began to walk slowly.

Reyhan clasped Clara's hand. "If you're scared, just close your eyes. But, you have to overcome your fears, because you'll miss the chance to see the beautiful scenery"

The roller coaster began to move quickly making anyone scream loudly. The face of fear when looking at the height and the face of a happy person riding the vehicle is clearly visible. But, Clara still closed her eyes, whereas Reyhan was just enjoying, she did not scream at all.

Reyhan whispered to Clara as they were at the top and the roller coaster stopped for a moment "Open your eyes"

Clara followed Reyhan's words even though she was a little hesitant, and she opened her eyes. Clara stared in amazement at the surrounding scenery.

Clara and Reyhan get off the roller coaster. There was happiness on both faces.

"Silver right, it turns out that it's not that scary. I would be sorry if I didn't open my eyes" Clara said.

"Good" Unknowingly Reyhan randomized Clara's hair.

"Ah, sorry" Reyhan immediately apologized as Clara looked at him.

The girl left, Reyhan scolded the girl who was not heart-felt and instead bumped into people.

"Let's go home Ra" Reyhan asked.

"Wait, we go to the rides first yes" Take Clara while pointing at the rides she wants. Reyhan gulped with difficulty when he knew what rides he wanted to visit Clara.

"Aarrgghh!, aarrgghh, go go go." Reyhan's screams hid behind Clara's body as a blood-filled kuntilanak drew closer to her. Reyhan grew hysterical as other ghostly ghosts began to approach them.

Clara just laughed seeing Reyhan scared.

"Ra, let's get out!" Take Reyhan while hugging Clara tightly from behind, she hid her face behind Clara's shoulders.

Clara finally relented and chose to go home. He could not hear Reyhan constantly screaming making his ears hurt. Although he had to give up not being able to enjoy the rides he liked the most, namely the haunted house rides.
