The Legend of Zhu San

The Legend of Zhu San
234: Towards the Hun Empire

Feeling worried and having not seen his Uncle Tan Kuan for a long time, Zhu San finally decided to head to the city of Hangyao led by his father's college brother.

He canceled his plans to Baixan city and sent only two letters. One for Uncle Mu Bai and one for Master Fu Kuan. The contents of both letters contained the same thing, namely the situation and information about the Murder of the Noble Mu Dao.

Zhu San and Bian Chi drifted south at high speed. Although he had never visited Hangyao City, Zhu San had memorized the city's existence after seeing a map from General Qu Lung.

“San Gege .. Is the one in front of it a Hangyao City?” Bian Chi asked as the sun had just appeared on the eastern horizon.

“It looks like it is indeed Hangyao City. We go straight into town.” Take Zhu San. The two of them drifted closer to the city and crossed the north gate.

The gatekeepers who saw the two of them traverse, were stunned for a few seconds. Before finally one came to a realization and shouted loudly while heading to the place where the danger bell was located.

“Infuser! There's an intruder by air!”

The soldier immediately rang the bell after he finished shouting so. The sound of bells immediately echoed throughout the city, followed by the sound of bells from the other three gates.

Zhu San and Bian Chi stopped from floating them when they heard the cries of the guards who were mutual. Until finally, a man came floating towards them.

“Ah apparently You're San’er! I think there's another intruder.” Tan Kuan patted Zhu San on the shoulder and saluted Bian Chi to his Uncle .

“I'm sorry Uncle, because I was in a hurry to make the whole city a scene.” Zhu San said with a wry smile. The shout down there had subsided, seeing Tan Kuan having a close conversation with the two.

“Let them not Intruders, It is Zhu San and his wife Bian Chi!” Tan Kuan shouted using his inner power, making his voice sound throughout the entire city of Hangyao.

The boisterous voice sounded yet different from before. The voice was now haunting the names of Zhu San and Bian Chi who were instrumental in the war in Baixan City.

The three immediately floated down towards the Tan Kuan Residence where Yu Mei who had just exited the huge building, smiled happily welcoming Zhu San Bian Chi.

“Chi’er how are you son!?” Yu Mei hugged Bian Chi tightly, as did Bian Chi.

“There is news so you are in a hurry to meet me San’er?” Tan Kuan asked after the two sat in his private room. Bian Chi was helping Yu Mei who prepared breakfast for them.

Zhu San then explained the information he had obtained after interrogating the assassin he had captured last night. Tan Kuan was not surprised to hear that.

“So they were both behind the attack on me a few days ago.”

Tan Kuan then explains that he was attacked by several assassins, but they shut their mouths and committed suicide by swallowing poison rather than having to say who told them to.

“Then what's your next plan?” Ask Tan Kuan.

“I want to find them both to Hungdao City and finish them off, so as not to become thorns in the flesh in the future.” Zhu San replied while sipping tea in front of him.

Tan Kuan agreed to this and asked Zhu San to be careful while in the Hun Empire later, considering that the swordsman fig there has the ability that is not less powerful than the Jian and Qing empires.

Zhu San promised to return to visit them after his affairs were finished in the Hun Empire and Jian Empire.

Both are moving west. Although this was the first time for the two of them to enter the Hun Empire, they both seemed calm despite their confusion as to which direction and how far Hungdao City was.

After hovering for several hours at high speed, they found a small town. The two decide to find a tavern as well as ask about the city of Hungdao.

After descending from a place quite far away from the city, Zhu San and Bian Chi arrived at the city gate after walking for more than ten minutes.

Looking at the uniform of the soldiers he did not recognize, Zhu San concluded that they were already in the Hun empire.

After revealing his identity as a noble, Zhu San got permission to enter the small town.

“San Gege .. The store looks crowded, surely the cuisine is delicious, we should just go there.” Bian Chi led Zhu San to the shop filled with customers.

Seen several pairs of eyes looking at Bian Chi with a seductive look. Zhu San and Bian Chi ignored this.

After ordering a drink, Zhu San and Bian Chi sat at one of the empty tables. Near them three warriors noticed the two, especially Bian Chi.

“Have not searched for a commotion, our main task is not finished. We'd better hurry to Hangyao city and finish our task.” One of the people held his shoulder that was about to stand up to Bian Chi.

Despite grunting, the man obeyed the words of the man who was the eldest brother in their group called the Three Red Tigers.

Zhu San, who heard the name Hangyao, became suspicious of the three men. He spoke to Bian Chi through telepathy to keep silent on hearing the three.

Feeling suspicious of the three, Zhu San and Bian decided to follow the two who were going to Hangyao City even though it was late afternoon.

The three of them rode on the horse and spurred the horse quickly towards the direction from which Zhu San had come. Without the three of them knowing Zhu San followed the three from the air with Bian Chi.

“San Gege .. They are already quite far from the city. We just block them at the intersection of the road ahead there.” Bian Chi said after looking back. In the direction of the city that was now a kilometer behind them.

“Alright .. “ Zhu San darted quickly ahead of them, followed by Bian Chi. The two immediately descended at the crossroads and stood upright against the three horsemen who arrived a short while later.

“Stop!” Zhu San's voice that contained a deep power, made the three men's horses stop after their bridle straps were pulled suddenly.

The three people were shocked and angry at Zhu San who stood in their way.

“What do you mean stop us boy!?” The figure of the tavern was about to come to Bian Chi, shouting loudly and darting down from his horse with an angry face.
