Chapter 49. Someone's Voice.

Vero felt that he could not stand it anymore, he immediately grabbed his car keys and rushed towards Liora's house. With incredible speed, he darted quickly to the woman's house.

"Good day, sir," said the gatekeeper of Liora's house.

Vero simply nodded his head to answer the guard's greeting. He then drove his car into the yard of the house, after which rushed down and knocked on the door of the house.

"Mr Vero" said Rose as she opened the door.

"Is Liora home?" ask Vero quickly.

"Miss is going to the company, sir," replied Rose as she let her in.

Vero refused the woman's offer and hurried away from there. He then returned to the car sitting quietly while thinking about whether to meet Liora at the company or not.

Then Vero decided to go straight to Liora, she did not care how the girl's response was that for sure today she had to talk to him.

After driving for about 15 minutes, Vero reached the Grazielle group.this is the second time he set foot in the company. He rushed straight to the reception desk.

"Good day, sir. Can we help you?" ask the receptionist kindly.

"I would like to meet Miss Liora Grazielle" replied Vero.

"I'm sorry, did you make an appointment?"

"Just tell him that Cavero wants to meet," Vero replied quickly.

"Okay, please wait a minute." The receptionist immediately contacted Liora's secretary, then engaged in a conversation. "Sorry sir, Miss Liora is nowhere."

"Ck, sia*l," said Vero with annoyance, even to meet with Liora alone was very difficult for him.

Vero rushed out to the place where his car was parked. Sangking out of focus, he bumped into someone until staggered to the side.

"Sorry" said Vero, lowering his head.

"No papa, sir. I'm sorry, too" replied the man that Vero hit, he was able to leave the place to make Vero continue his steps.

However, only a few steps went by. Suddenly, Vero stopped him. "Wait a minute, it's like I've heard someone's voice before." He immediately turned around to look at the man he had hit earlier. "The sound is not foreign." He tried to remember where he had heard that voice.

Long Vero thought, until he finally remembered. "True, that voice 'right-" He rushed after the man earlier. He searched here and there but could not find it.

Vero then went back to the receptionist and said he wanted to meet with Leon, Alex, Zarga, or anyone else in the company.

Clearly the receptionist was confused, and he immediately contacted his superior.

"Sia*l, I don't have any of their numbers" complained Vero who only had Liora's number.

"I'll take you to Mr. Kenzie's room, sir," the receptionist said, inviting Vero to follow.

The receptionist then invited Vero when he was standing in front of a room owned by Kenzie, making Vero immediately rushed in

Actually Kenzie was a little surprised by the arrival of Vero, especially the young lady was out. However, the receptionist said that Vero wanted to meet with anyone among them who was in the company.

"There's something I want to say" Vero said directly.

"Please, sir," Kenzie replied quickly.

"So I overheard Agle's voice, by accident,"

"What?" teeking Kenzie in shock, he who thought Vero wanted to talk about his young lady instead said something very surprising. "Are you sure?"

"I'm very sure, I remember very well with his voice," Vero replied sternly. "I collided with him in the lobby."

"You mean, he's in this company?" asked Kenzie again to make Vero nod his head.

Kenzie quickly contacts Alex and tells him what he just heard from Vero.

"They're coming soon" Kenzie said after turning off his call.

"We should check the cctv immediately" exclaimed Vero, they should immediately see the man's face.

"Sia*l, his face is not clearly visible," said Kenzie because the man was wearing a hat, then his face was only visible on the side

Vero also regretted it, they should have been able to see the face of the creature. He then immediately copied the video to show the others.

Kenzie then invites Vero to return to the room, seen already Leon, Liora, Alex and also Zarga. They immediately shot to the company upon hearing the news from him.

"Is that true?" ask Leon.

"Yes, Sir. I'm sure," replied Vero.

then Kenzie immediately showed the video that they managed to get earlier, so they could see it directly.

While the others were busy watching the video, Vero continued to look towards Liora, whereas the girl was acting indifferent as if nothing had happened between them making Vero's heart feel very sick.

"If it's him, what is he doing here?" leon said, he was worried.

"It looks like we have to be careful, if it's really him, I'm sure he must be planning something" Alex said. Just like him, the others thought the same thing.

"Command all members of the bloods just in case," Liora ordered then.

They immediately agreed with Liora's words and will immediately identify the face of the man in the video, so that it can be seen clearly.

"All right, for now go back to your respective rooms," said Leon. He glanced at Vero who had been watching Liora, as if the man wanted to talk to his sister.

"Can we talk for a second?" ask Vero after the others come out.

"Speak," Leora replied, she stared intently at Vero.

"Are you really going to marry Marvel?" Vero trembled as he said it, even his tears would already come out.

Liora silently did not reply, her tongue my tongue could not be moved as if her body knew that she did not want the marriage.

"Take me, Liora!" hardik Vero, his tone has started to rise.

"Right, I will marry her," Liora replied loudly. Suddenly, he was reminded of the Marvel threat. Sia does not want to give hope anymore for Vero because he does not want to hurt the heart of the man he loves so much.

"What do you think I am?" snapped Vero while standing from his seat. His lips twitched, his hands clenched tightly. His face was even red already restraining emotions.

Liora who saw him already wanted to cry and hug, really her heart could not bear to see the wounds implied on the man's face. However, with all her might she held him back. She remained indifferent as if Vero meant nothing to her.

"Tell Liora, have you never loved me in all this time?" vero asked quietly, he approached Leora and wanted to hug the girl.

"No, I never loved you. I'm just ..., just having fun with you," she replied, turning her face away.

It was like falling into a deep abyss upon hearing Liora's words, Vero's heart was shattered. The woman he had always loved had the heart to say things he had never even imagined before.

"Liora you, you.-" Vero was unable to speak anymore, quickly hugging Liora with a trembling body. "Don't say that, Liora. I beg you." She continued to hug Liora, wistfully.

Liora was also speechless, it was really painful. How could he possibly let go of this enormous love? His heart had even felt extremely claustrophobic just by thinking about it

"Take me off!" Liora tried to rebel even with tears that almost fell.

"No, Leora. You can't do this, I love you. I love you so much, don't leave me." Vero pleaded with. No matter what was going to happen, he was definitely not willing to lose Liora.

With all her might, Liora took off Vero's embrace, while Vero felt even more crushed. Completely destroyed..

"I'm sorry, please forget me."
