The End of Farewell

The End of Farewell
Curiosity

The eagle embraced his wife's body without feeling awkward towards her.

"How are you in the village? is it still the same as before?" the Eagle asked in pleasantries to invite his wife to chat.

"Yes, it's still the same as it used to be. You alone, why never come to see your grandparents in the village? don't you miss him?"

The eagle looked at his wife, and looked straight ahead again. Still, he hugged his wife.

"For what reason would I come again to the village, if only carrying wounds. Just hearing from Burnan is enough for me. If for grandma and grandpa, I just do a video call to treat my miss with the village. Because I know, what you miss is not me, but another man." Said the Eagle while looking straight ahead, Anin turned to her husband.

At that very moment, the Eagle turned to his wife and smiled as his wife looked at him.

"Yes, I forgot. No, I want to give you something."

"What?" ask Anin.

"Just take it in my jacket pocket." The Eagle answered while reaching into his jacket pocket.

"Here, yours, right?" while giving away a small box belonging to his wife.

Anin rounded her eyes as her husband thrust out his small box.

"Where did you get this little box?" anin asked as she received her pendant box.

The eagle smiled again. Instead of answering, the Eagle reached into his possession.

"I also have, it turns out that the soul mate is not going anywhere." Said the Eagle while observing his pendant box.

Anin was more and more confused, seeing the same two things.

"Kok the same as mine? you're following along, huh? ngaku."

"You're open first, the year is there." Said the Eagle while pointing at the small box belonging to his wife.

Anin who was already impatient, immediately checked it out. Fear, if something is changed or replaced.

With great difficulty, Anin opened it. And sure enough, it's all still intact. In fact, the date and the month and year are still the same. But unfortunately, Anin could not open it. Clearly, it needs a locket from the couple themselves.

"Here, if you want to open that little thing. Because of the locket, only I have." Said the Eagle while thrusting his pendant.

Anin looked up and looked at his wife's face.

"Here, wear it if you want to open it." Said the Eagle with a nod as he gave his pendant to the wife.

Anin who harbored curiosity, finally received the pendant from her husband. Then, try to open her own pendant.

How surprised he was when his pendant opened so easily. Anin observed her pendant and the husband's so closely.

"Why is it a coincidence like this? explain me. Don't tell me you purposely duplicated my locket."

"For what, and what good am I duplicating? it's obviously the same thing and the same old thing." The Eagle made clear his honesty.

Anin was still confused, all unexpected.

"Who knows the meaning of this locket, only my parents. You and I had a past in childhood, and our parents were the witnesses." Connect again.

"You mean, what?"

'What! didit and I still have a family? has he? then, what's the connection with my pendant and Eagle's pendant. Could it mean something in our past? but, Ami's mother never told her about who I was and who the Eagle was. Ah yes, his grandmother and grandfather Eagle in the village must know.' Inner Anin wondered about who she was and her own husband.

"I'm sorry, if what I'm saying is upsetting you, and it's hard for you to believe it. I don't know why, I'd be happy if this was the truth." Said the Eagle while holding his pendant.

Anin was still silent, between believing and not believing what her husband said. It could have been, it was all engineered, he thought.

"Oh, it's dark now. Come on, let's go inside the house. Also it's time for dinner, it's not good this hour still sitting outside."

Anin nodded and helped her husband sit in a wheelchair.

After dinner, Anin and the Eagle returned to the room. Then, the two took turns to wash their faces and other rituals.

No more drama to the bathroom, the Eagle was still sitting in his wheelchair. Whether there was any wind, he struggled to learn to stand, even in a wheelchair.

With such a heavy breath, the Eagle raised his own weight so that both of his legs could support him.

Anin who just combed her hair, immediately reached her husband who almost fell.

"This is not how it works, Lang. If you fall, how? you can call me for help. But, open it up like this is also the way." Said Anin while helping her husband to sit back.

"Then, how can I stand up? I'm tired of having to sit like this all the time." Said the Eagle and struck his own wheelchair with his powerful strength.

"Stay away from the wheelchair if you want to learn to walk, you can use a brace or other assistive devices." Anin replied, The eagle tried to digest the sentence spoken by his wife.

"Yes too, how do I want to be able to walk, while I myself depend on a wheelchair. After all, the left leg doesn't hurt, just my right leg." Said the Eagle who was aware of the pain he felt.

Anin smiled hearing that.

"Tomorrow, you can use that tool. But, you must ask first with the doctor. Still, there should be advice from the doctor." Said Anin reminding, Eagle nodded and smiled at his wife.

"Thank you, you gave me some good advice. I promise, I will try to heal. Because what? because I want to make you happy, my wife." The Eagle answered and grabbed his wife's hand, Anin was a little nervous.

"I promise, I will make you happy in my own way. I know, your heart is heavy, but I'll never stop until you give up." Again, Anin nodded.

Then, Anin sat down on the edge of the bed. The eagle itself turned its wheelchair upside down, and the two faced each other.

"I'm sorry, Lang. I've been selfish, my eyes are less observant of your sincerity." Said Anin feeling embarrassed.

Once again the Eagle smiled at him, and again grabbed his wife's hand.

"It's okay, I can understand it. Maybe I would do the same, if I had your position. Oh yeah, it's night and time to rest." The eagle answered, and let go of his wife's hand. Anin herself could only recite what her husband said.

As the two of them were already lying on the bed, Anin and Eagle both stared at the ceiling of his room with their respective daydreams.

The eagle turned, and shifted its sleeping position. Anin was shocked.

"Could you, if I slept holding you?" ask the Eagle without awkwardness.

Anin herself made nervous and certainly embarrassed, sleeping in the arms of her own friend. Even though he has become a husband and wife, it still makes him nervous and also embarrassed of course.

"Why are you ashamed?"

"I-i-ya," he answered nervously.

'Bo_doh once I am, why should I answer yes.' Anin's inner self cursed.
