The Dilemma in Silence
The Same Fate

Malini's hand rushed to put Hudda's phone back on the table after hearing the sound of the shower stopping from the bathroom. Then, Malini ran towards the mattress, sitting like an early position while folding clothes. Hudda came out of the bathroom in a towel that only covered the waist to the knees.

"A fast. Clean shower, Mas," said Malini to create a neutral atmosphere.

"I can't wait." One of Hudda's eyes blinked seductively.

Though, Hudda's goal is to go out to pick up the phone and take it to the bathroom. Hudda was afraid that Malini would check her phone. Malini's two hands squeezed tightly and hit the mattress to vent her anger after Hudda returned to the bathroom. Her chest felt tight holding back that emotional and anger.

Not long after, her phone rang, Mella, the sister-in-law contacted her.

"Lin, sister outside. Please open the door." His voice was heard crying through the phone.

The phone connection was disconnected and Malini moved out of the room. His feet rushed down the stairs and approached the door. Then, continue to open the main door of the house. His body was immediately greeted by the embrace of Mella who was crying sadly.

"Why Ma'am? Everything all right?" malini asked, a little anxious to see her sobs.

"Mbak fought with Mas Adam. He could not forget the woman, he repeated his actions. Ma'am really can't live with her anymore" Mella explained with tears continuing to drip.

"Where's chika?" malini asked while turning her eyes to Mella's car in the yard.

"Mas Adam didn't let Mbak take him. Poor Chika. If Mbak stays with him, Mbak feels he is being colonized by his own emotional Mbak. It could be mad in there." Mella's cries are endless.

Malini again felt her heart ache. What Mella is going through right now is happening to her as well. All this time he only heard and accommodated the story of Mella about the affair of her sister-in-law's husband. But now he feels it.

"Where's sudda?" mella asked while looking inside the house.

Mella's question is unrequited. Malini invited him in and sat on the living room sofa. Then, he took a glass of water from the kitchen for Mella. After that, he sat down next to Mella.

Hudda went out of the room looking for his wife who was not seen after coming out of the bathroom. From the stairs he saw his brother and his wife sitting in the living room with their backs to his whereabouts. Hudda's lips that had smiled faded after seeing Mella cry.

"Why, Mommy?" ask Hudda, confused.

"Mother Mella left Mas Adam's house. Adam was cheating all this time. Mella's mother often forgave her, but Mas Adam repeated his mistake again" Malini told Hudda and looked at Hudda deeply for wanting to see her response.

Hudda lowered her gaze and silent a thousand languages. Whynot? He was also the perpetrator of the affair.

"Mak rest in the room. We'll take care of this tomorrow." Malini helps Mella stand up and takes her to the guest room.

After exiting the guest room, Malini saw Hudda sitting on the sofa in contemplation with both eyes pointing to the vase on the table. Malini stared coldly at Hudda before the man became aware of her existence. The smile on Malini's lips appeared when he saw Hudda directing her gaze with her lips also smiling.

"Mas must have thought of Mella. Comeing! Mas also had to rest," Malini asked as she walked over to him and took him upstairs.

Malini helped Hudda lay down her body. Hearing the news of the affair that hurt her sister, Hudda seemed silent in the burden of thoughts that made her always silent and not talk much.

Malini pulled a blanket for him and he lay down next to her. Her hands hugged Hudda's body lying sideways against her body. Her husband's behavior was read by her. The man could not sleep, his eyes still wide open staring at the floor while thinking something in his mind. Malini noticed Hudda's face from a makeup mirror that caught the reflection of their body, especially Hudda who was in front of her. The man was unaware that he was being noticed.

"Mas is asleep?" malini asked in a spoiled voice.

"If you do that to me, I won't forgive you, Mom. Thank you for being a good husband all this time" said Malini, deliberately wanted to offend Hudda and make the man aware of her affair.

Malini closed her eyes, pretending to sleep as Hudda did. A few minutes of quiet room atmosphere, until finally Hudda sat down because she thought Malini had slept. Hudda's right hand gently stroked the wife's hair. Then, he stood up from the bed. After that, he came out of the room while clutching a cell phone taken from the desk drawer.

After Hudda left the room, Malini switched to sitting. She came out of the room wondering what her husband was doing. Both of his hearing senses heard Hudda's voice from the work room next to their room. Malini pushed the door and created a slight gap for her to eavesdrop.

"Yes. I'll be there in time. Oh yeah, I want to tell you something too. But I'll just say it tomorrow.Sleep, don't stay up." Hudda spoke with a cell phone stuck to her right ear.

Malini's hand gripped tightly after hearing Hudda's attention to the woman. Again and again, he held back his emotions. After hearing her husband and the woman's conversation was over, she ran into the room and lay down as before. Hudda stopped walking after a few steps into the room, she noticed the wife's face with a look of annoyance at herself.

"I can't eat. I'll just bring the supplies. There is a sudden business in the office" Hudda said as she walked into the kitchen.

Malini's hand stopped turning over the plate that had previously been tucked away on the dining table at the seat where Hudda was supposed to be sitting. Hudda's words made her remember the conversation between her husband and his mistress last night.

"Pa, take us to school this morning" Jian said.

"Papa can't, son. Papa had a meeting this morning. Mama's the one that brought you guys. Well then, Papa's gone," said Hudda.

THE CUPP!

THE CUPP!

Hudda kissed the two cheeks of her twins. Then, he walked up to Malini and wanted to kiss her too. However, Malini avoided it by acting to take a plate containing rice complete with a side dish that had been prepared on the table to be delivered to Mella who was in the guest room. Hudda walked out of the kitchen and appeared to her after they were in the living room. The appearance of his body makes Malini stop walking.

"What else? You better get to the office. Isn't there an important meeting." Malini's lips smiled to hide the emotion that always bloomed every time she saw her husband.

"You mad?" ask Hudda.

"For what? Go!" Malini kissed Hudda's cheeks and set her eyes on the wide open door.

This looks ridiculous to him. Malini felt herself looking foolish in thought. She remained silent after finding out that her husband was cheating on her. However, Malini did not want to fight hard about the affair until it had a bad impact on those closest to her, especially her two children.

Hudda felt Malini's attitude change, but Malini's gentle attitude still seemed to make her thinking about the change go far. Hudda walked towards the door with her back to Malini who was already shedding tears due to the pain felt in her heart. The smile on his lips vanished, bringing up a concerned face towards himself.

"You must be strong, Lini," he said.

Malini wiped away the tears that had fallen and continued walking to the guest room. After opening the door, she sees Mella sitting and watching a picture of her daughter, Chika.

"Eat first, Ma'am. After this we go to Mas Adam's house to pick up Chika. I also want to take the kids to school" Malini said as she walked into the room and placed the dishes on the table.

“You're lucky to get Hudda, Line. He's a good guy.” Melle put the photo in her hand beside her and took the rice plate.

Mella's words made Malini feel sorry for herself. In fact, Hudda is just like the double Adam. Her lips could only smile to cover up Mella's sadness, the problem was enough borne by him himself without making everyone who admired Hudda's good attitude all this time knew that the man was an ordinary man who could be tempted.
