The Cold Wife

The Cold Wife
Chapter 68

Sweet continued to stand in the living room with both hands folded on his chest. She was very anxious, thinking of the possibility that Bian would hit her husband again.

Hanz has been watching Sweet. The last time he saw Sweet was so anxious was in the hospital. This is the second time he has seen the same thing. The woman kept moving her fingers. With eyes fixed on the main door.

"Nothing will happen to her" Hanz said, trying to convince Sweet. The woman turned her head, with no intention of retaliating Hanz's words.

"I'm sorry," continued Hanz. Sweet who heard that looked at Hanz fixedly.

"I'm sorry, I separated you and Alex. I should've realized, you weren't meant for me, Sweet. I'm too confident." Hanz got up from his seat and moved towards Sweet.

Sweet lowered his hands, and deepened his gaze at Hanz.

"That's the past, and there's no need to remember. I should thank you too." Sweet took a deep breath. "You've been trying to protect me."

Hanz smiled wryly, "it's my duty. I hope you're always happy, Sweet."

Sweet nodded slowly.

"Take care of yourself, maybe after this we won't meet again."

Hearing that, Sweet immediately gave a puzzled look.

"Don't ask me where I'm going, but take good care of yourself." Hanz smiled. Makes Sweet even more confused.

"May you be happy too" Sweet said sincerely. Hanz replied with a nod.

Not long after, the door opened. The person Sweet was waiting for appeared there. With Mala and Lady Sasmitha. Behind them stood a middle-aged man, Arnold.

Sweet ran over to them a little. "Nothing happened, right?" sweet asked, checking Alex's face. The man smiled at Sweet's attitude. Attitudes he had never seen before.

"No, Honey. I'm fine" said Alex, holding Sweet's hand still on his face.

"Thank God" said Sweet, breathing a sigh of relief.

"Sweet, take your husband to the room. He must rest," orders Lady Sasmitha.

"Good, Grandma." Sweet took over the wheelchair from Mala's hands. "Thank you" Sweet told Mala.

"Together, Mom." Sweet was surprised to hear Mala's call for him. He looked at Mala full of search.

"Hey, am I right? He's my father and you're his wife. That means you're my mom, Sweet." Mala laughed cheerfully as she looked at Sweet's cute face.

"Mala...." Sweet looks furious with her husband's adopted son this one.

"Sorry, Mom." Mala said as she blinked her eyes. Sweet who saw that could only shake his head. Sweet feels awkward if Mala calls him Mommy.

"Alright, let's go Mala. Your sister must have been waiting at home" Arnold told Mala.

"Yes, then I go first. Hope you heal soon, Dad. I'm waiting for you to come home." Mala kissed Alex's back quickly. Then I turned to staring at Sweet

"Well we meet again, Mom." A warm kiss he gave on Sweet's cheek. And immediately darted away. Sweet was flabbergasted for a moment.

"Yes, greetings to Ara and the others." Said Sweet. Arnold nodded, then said goodbye to Sasmitha and immediately left.

"I also have to go, take good care of myself." Hanz hurried away from there. Because he knew, Alex kept staring at him full of intimidation. As if he wanted to get away immediately.

After everyone left, Sweet helped Lady Sasmitha first to enter the room. And then Alex went to the room.

"How's it?" alex asked, waiting for his wife's answer.

Sweet who had been sitting on Alex's lap did not immediately give an answer.

Alex has expressed his intention to bring Sweet and the children back to Germany. He is currently waiting for Sweet's answer.

"What if I say, I don't want to go?" Sweet asked a question in response.

"Then, what if I force you?" Alex is not losing. He again asked a question.

"Ck, I admit defeat." Sweet leaned his head against Alex's chest. "As a wife, I'll go with you wherever you go. As long as we stay together, wherever we are it doesn't matter."

Alex smiled happily to hear it. A warm kiss he gave Sweet. "What if we go home next week?"

Sweet nodded in response. Then no more talk. They were silent to each other, enjoying such a warm togetherness.

However, Sweet suddenly remembered the Grandma. He lifted his head, looking at Alex so deeply.

"What about Grandma?" ask Sweet. Alex looked back at Sweet.

"We can take care of him there" Alex replied. Sweet smiled as he nodded. Hugged Alex back.

"I love you" whispered Sweet. Alex who heard that boasted a warm smile.

"I feel back to youth, where lovers reveal each other's hearts."

Sweet smiled, "I'm still young. You're old, you're almost half a century old."

Alex had a crisp laugh hearing his wife's thump. "That's my luck, being able to get a young and beautiful wife like you."

"Stop that, I won't be tempted by your sweet words."

"really? Let me see, is it true that my wife is not tempted?" Alex pushes Sweet's body slowly. Then look at the face of the wife who radiates a red hue. Makes Alex laugh. Sweet was embarrassed to be caught by Alex.

"Even your face can't lie" Alex continued, pulling Sweet's chin. Don't want to waste the chance to see the red hue on Sweet's face. It is very rare for this to happen to his wife.

"Don't tease me anymore, I have to go to pick up the kids." Sweet's alibi to get away from her husband. Alex smiles meaningfully and keeps Sweet from leaving.

"That's too soon, I still want to hug you." Alex pulls Sweet back in the deck. Even hugged the woman so tightly.

Sweet did not protest at all, because he also still wanted to be close to Alex. The longing has not been completely cured.
