Jeesany stiffened her jaw and stared intently at Xander without the slightest fear.
Everyone who sat around the dining table stared at him, except for his parents.
The sky looked at Jeesany as she shook her head, as if giving a sign that she didn't have to say anything. With courage, Sky stood up from his seat and looked at everyone there with a gaze that always looked calm.
"What did he do!" Sean said to his wife. "Does he want to look for trouble again?!" continued with a furious tone.
"Don't draw your own conclusions! Listen to him talk!" Irene patted her husband's thigh hard to stop talking.
Xander looked at Sky with a slanted smile as he crossed his hands across his chest.
"Have courage as well it turns out," Inner Xander, stared intently at the Sky.
Jeesany felt that his family was humiliated by Xander in front of his extended family.
"Basar old geezer sucks! This can't be allowed!" Jeesany said in her heart, and she immediately withdrew the hand of Heaven, that her husband might sit back in her chair, but Heaven did not budge at all.
The sky breathed a long breath when it spoke.
"Good night everyone. You may be wondering why I am here in the middle of this family. Introduce me is Langit Pradika, husband of Jeesany," Sky said politely.
Instantly the atmosphere in the dining room that was once tense now became very boisterous.
"You MBA?" matteo asked at once representing the questions of everyone who was there.
"Yes," replied the Sky firmly.
Jeesany bit her lower lip strongly, as her extended family now turned to look at her with a strange look.
Sean and Irene can only resign when the disgrace of his family is dismantled in the dining room.
"So you're pregnant first?" asked Gwen who was sitting opposite Jeesany.
Jeesany nodded slowly in response.
"We were obviously surprised to hear it, but we could not judge. Those of you who did must have thought about the consequences before" Gwen replied to Jeesany.
The sky sat back in his chair, then clasped Jeesany's hand very tightly.
"That's Dad!" Jeje began to get bored with the attitude of her husband who was getting older even more like a child.
"But, Honey—"
"Would I remind you that Aiden and Gwen have the same mistake?!" Jeje looked at her husband.
"okay!" Xander was silent when he heard his wife's words.
"For this matter let our families know. And no need to talk about it anymore. After all Sky was already responsible for Jeesany's pregnancy. So, welcome to the Clark Family for the Sky," Jeje told everyone there, and lastly he addressed the Sky sitting beside Jeesany.
The sky smiled faintly then nodded its head politely.
The tension in the dining room has subsided, and replaced with a warm atmosphere. But only for a moment, because not a long time Xander again asked questions to the Sky. It seemed like the old man was still not satisfied with introgating the Sky.
"What's your job?" ask Xander to the sky.
"Lecturer, I'm a Lecturer at University X," Sky replied.
"A Lecturer who is supposed to educate his students why the opposite? Ruin her protege?!" Xander spoke in a cynical tone.
"Alright, Dad! Stop this!" Jeje is trying to stop her husband from making a mess again.
"I'm not done talking Honey!" Xander did not want to listen to his wife.
"I'm sorry, sir." That was all the heavens could say, as he also felt guilty about this. If the college finds out, it will fire him.
"The salary of a lecturer is small. Will you be able to support my granddaughter with that salary?!" Xander asked a question that cornered the Sky.
I swear by anything, Jeesany can't stand this situation anymore. He immediately got up from his seat, then stared intently at Xander without fear.
"If Opa invited us just to be humiliated like this! Congratulations, Opa's effort has worked! But, one thing that Opa needs to know, there are some things that can not be bought with money, and it is happiness and tranquility!" jeesany said with emotion, then pulled her husband's hand and took him out of the house.
