BLOOD OF JAVA: Episode 55
Patih Kinjiri and Lare Damar have reached the foot of Mount Khayangan. The mountain looks beautiful. There was not a single terrible thing they found in that place.
The sounds of birds chirping, the sound of water gurgling, and also the breeze makes the atmosphere in the place more beautiful. Patih Kinjiri was astonished, such a beautiful place was never touched by anyone.
“Truly very unfortunate. A place as beautiful as this, but uninhabited.” Patih Kinjiri.
“Do not be tempted Patih. This place doesn't look like what Patih saw.”
“You mean?”
“Use Patih Kinjiri's inner eye to see everything.”
Patih Kinjiri immediately sat down cross-legged and closed his two eyes, he used the sharpness of his inner eyes to see just about anything that was in this place. Then he was surprised. Because this beauty turned out to be just a trick.
After he opened his eyes again, the beauty of this place turned into a terrible gloom. Though, originally Patih Kinjiri felt something very good in this place.
But after he looked with both eyes carefully, this place was far worse than any place in this world. And the horror that was in this place he had never seen anywhere else.
“Excellent! Two very amazing human children!”
Suddenly a voice sounded around them. They looked here and there, but there was no one. All they found was a grove of trees and rocks, there was no one there.
“Who are you! Out!” Shouted Patih Kinjiri.
“Be prepared Patih. Because something bad is heading our way.” Lare Damar.
In that cramped place, the two of them prepared for each other, putting up horses. The atmosphere in that place was instantly silent without any sound. There was not even the slightest wind sweeping them in that place.
But before long, they both felt the ground tremble. And there were very loud noises coming from above them. They could not see clearly, as the place was filled with mist.
“Train, get on my back.”
“What?!”
At once, Lare Damar turned into a pitch-black bear. He then roared giving a sign to Patih Kinjiri, in order to quickly climb onto his back.
Patih Kinjiri went straight up to Lare Damar's back. He held onto Lare Damar's shoulder tightly. Because at that time Lare Damar ran very fast.
“Note your way Lare Damar! It's a narrow road! We could die if we fall down!”
At that time Lare Damar spurred himself very quickly, so in a short time, they had already reached the middle of the mountain. And they were both in quite a large place.
Lare Damar changed her form back to human. He prepared by taking the stick he always carried on his back. Likewise with Patih Kinjiri who prepared with his two swords.
“You have entered our region without permission!” Say one of them.
“Impard our sassness. But really, we don't have bad intentions. We just want to meet the owner of Mount Khayangan.” Answer Lare Damar.
“Man's son! Your heart is clean! But to prove it, let's see if you deserve to meet our master!”
A swarm of ape-men attacked Lare Damar and Patih Kinjiri. However Lare Damar and Patih Kinjiri only dodged their attacks. Because they already understand, if this is one of the tests they must pass.
If they hurt a horde of apes, then until any time they will not get to the top. And forever they will face an endless herd of ape-men.
They both jumped here and there to avoid the attacks from the ape humans. The two of them used their weapons just to fend off, not to attack.
The herd of ape-men continued to incite them and heat them up, so that they would get angry, and attack the ape-men. But it didn't work out at all.
Even Patih Kinjiri who easily ignited his emotions, now he can control his emotions. And he continued to be near Lare Damar, so that the hordes of apes were confused.
“Sang Hyang Tunggal, give strength to your servant to subdue the fire of anger that is in the servant.” Patih Kinjiri said in his heart.
“Come attack! Attack it! Take out your magic Kinjiri! Eject!”
But Patih Kinjiri still survived. He even tried to laugh, to get his anger distracted. Even if he doesn't know what he's laughing at. Most importantly, he could temper his anger.
Patih Kinjiri and Lare Damar teased them all. That anger may turn to the ape-men. This was one of the tough tests they had to pass on this mountain.
They should not be angry, should not complain, should not rest for too long, and they should stay within their goals. Until they have little other intention, they are declared failures.
The ape-men seemed to be getting tired. They all then stopped attacking Patih Kinjiri and Lare Damar. The horde of ape-men turned out to be just the real one.
The others are just fragments of his body. Because of this powerful ape, it has the ability to break its body into very many. So it is rare for people to be able to distinguish which is the original and which is the result of fractions.
The ape demon swordsman was also amazed at the two of them. It is rare for people to pass this test of patience. The average person will bring out the wisdom they have.
“I'm sorry human. But this is my job. I am amazed by both of you, who are able to subdue the flames of anger within you. Now, take my gift.” The monkey's stealth.
The apes give Lare Damar and Patih Kinjiri a power, an ability to add the amount of something, whatever it is. But with the same look.
“I have given you an ability. Use it wisely. If you hold one stone, then you can multiply the number of stones with the ability that I have given you.”
“Thank you, ape demon swordsman. We will both use it wisely.” Lare Damar.
The ape demon warrior also left the place. He had disappeared from sight. While Patih Kinjiri and Lare Damar, they decided to continue the journey. Because it won't be long, they'll soon reach their destination.
