THE BAD BOY OF MANHATTAN

THE BAD BOY OF MANHATTAN
Chapter 45. Denials.

James knocked on the door of the tiny house with that victorian design. The owner of the house is Hannah, his date. James bought the house for Hannah a year ago in exchange for being her bedmate. Indeed Hannah was impressed like a cheap woman, but James never treated her arbitrarily. He treated the woman like a lover. However, James does not intend to continue the relationship without commitment to the next level.

And today, James wants to talk nicely to Hannah, that she can't continue their relationship. Hannah sat beside him with her head down.

"I'm sorry, Hannah" James said, clutching Hannah's palm.

"It's okay (it's okay)." Hannah clearly hid the pain in her eyes. Although his tone of speech he made as serious as possible.

"I'm sorry again. I didn't mean to hurt you. But, from the beginning I've explained that ...."

"Our relationship is not committed. Yeah, I get it." Hannah cut James's words quickly. He continued to try to force his smile.

"I hope I didn't offend you. I consider you a good woman and I will always treat you well." James stroked Hannah's back. "Come here, let me give you a hug (come here, let me give you a hug)." James opened his arms and invited Hannah into his arms.

Hannah slid into James' arms and buried her face there. He tried so hard not to let go of his tears. Ah, this warmth of James' body he might never feel again.

James stroked Hannah's back gently. He took off his embrace on the woman and tidied up his slightly messy haircut. The back of her hand was stroking Hannah's cheek. He knew the beautiful woman was trying to refrain from crying. Undeniably, the guilt is so great on Hannah. But, he had to give this firmness. It's better to be sick now than to give Hannah false hope.

When entering her apartment, Emma heard a guitar sound that seemed to be being played by Elric in her room. The girl smiled as she placed the two tacco boxes she had brought from the restaurant onto the dining table.

Emma went into her room to clean herself and changed her work clothes to comfortable home clothes. After cleaning up, Emma wears long sweatshirts and leggings complete with thick winter socks. His long hair he tied just about leaves children hair that falls on his forehead and cheeks.

Out of his room, he still heard Elric's guitar from the boy's room. Slowly he knocked on the room with the gray-painted door.

Elric just opened the door after Emma knocked a little hard. Apparently the sound of the guitar he was playing made him not hear the sound of knocking on the door.

"Hi, Emma ...." Elric looked at the girl from head to toe. So sweet. His face looks fresh. Looks like he just took a shower.

"I'm eating a tacco with me," Emma asked as she turned around and stepped towards the kitchen table.

Elric smiled happily. He followed Emma's steps and sat opposite the girl. He noticed the movement of Emma who was moving tacco, folding bread containing lettuce, meat and hot sauce a la Mexico that was on the plate. Emma gave Elric one plate of two tacos, and another plate for him.

"Thanks, Emma."

"Uh-huh."

"I've auditioned."

"Oh yeah? And?"

"I'm the guitarist of Bad Boy Of Manhattan now."

Emma rounded her beautiful eyes. He stopped the chewing in his mouth. "It's awesome (very good), El." The girl looked at Elric with sparkling eyes. "I'm so happy to hear that (i'm so glad to hear it)."

"I need your support."

"I .. need you to be here."

"I'm always here."

"You're not going?"

Emma giggles. "Where am I going?"

"Move to James' apartment, for example."

"Why should I move into her apartment?"

"Because ...." Elric spent the last piece of his tacco. Then take a glass of water prepared by Emma.

"I haven't had any relationship with James yet."

Elric almost choked on the white water he was about to swallow. "Owh .. it's a good news (that's good news)."

Emma threes. "Why don't you like me being with James? You don't want me to be your godmother?" chortled.

"I like you to be my girlfriend." Elric said those words without looking at Emma.

Emma raised both eyebrows. But then he laughed as he shook his hand. "You're all there," he said without taking Elric's remarks seriously.

The young man just shrugged his shoulders. He twisted his empty glass. "If I said I was serious about it, what?"

"Your flashing isn't funny" Emma said as she chewed on the last piece of her tacco.

"If I'm not kidding, how?"

Emma hissing. "I'll pull your hair. You little rancid boy!" He suddenly felt nervous when he saw Elric's serious face. "Please clean up the plate, El. I'm going to sleep." Emma hurriedly got up from her seat and went inside her room.

In the room, Emma threw herself on the bed. He squeezed his face slowly. He tried to shake off strange thoughts about Elric. Or rather, he did not want those thoughts in his mind at all. It is impossible and cannot.

"Dome!"

The girl gasped when she heard Elric calling her name while knocking on the door of the room. Suddenly he felt so agitated.

"Can I come in (can I come in)?"

Emma exhaled violently. "No. I'm going to sleep." He pulled out a blanket and covered his entire body. "Good night, El!" yells.

While behind the door, Elric sighed in disappointment. He stared at the acoustic guitar he was holding. "I just want to contribute a song before going to bed" he murmured softly. He turned his body and stepped into his room.
