TBM Chapter 24 - The First Kiss

Harold used to work as a driver for Keiner's mother when he was young. Keiner's mother is the sole heir to the family but the girl loves her own driver.

Eventually they got married and had Keiner, after giving birth to Keiner's mother who was often sickly. For that he gave a will if he died later, all his property must fall into the hands of Keiner.

Harold couldn't do much, even so he also got a company for Harold to manage. But his name is Harold is not a businessman so the company was bankrupt, now his life depends on Keiner.

That's why Keiner was so angry when Harold didn't tell him about his marriage. Keiner limited the budget to Harold who made his life difficult because he was used to living a luxurious life.

While Clara herself is misdirected, she thinks Harold is the owner of the Volstaire Group and turns out that the old man has only been hitching a ride all along.

"We'd better have our meeting, see you at the Altar!" said Keiner who had stood up by pulling Juvel's hand.

Juvel who had just been silent staring at all the food presented as well as Chade. They did not dare to eat because of the fierce debate and now Keiner suddenly took Juvel away?

"The food.." murmured Juvel inwardly.

Because Keiner's mood wasn't good, Juvel took it.

In the car so quiet, no one opened their voices to each other. Juvel certainly understands Keiner's condition, although not yet know about Keiner's past at least Juvel knows if Keiner and Clara have an emotional relationship.

Crutches! Crutches!

Suddenly Juvel's stomach sounds which makes Keiner immediately aware if the baby has not eaten.

"Daddy's kid's hungry yeah, I'm sorry daddy, okay." Keiner rubbed Juvel's stomach as if talking to her baby.

"Um, can I eat Shawarma?" ask Juvel later.

"Yes, he wants that!" Juvel pulled Keiner's hand and draped it into his stomach. He wants Keiner's mood to improve again and Juvel knows if the baby he's born with can do it.

That position made Keiner and Juvel very close. Even the breath they breathed on their faces at each other.

"Please promise me you'll take care of my baby!" pinta Keiner sounded bitter. She does not want the fate of her baby in Juvel's womb to be the same fate as her baby conceived by Clara.

"I promise to be calm!" Juvel rubbed Keiner's hair. When Keiner calmed down later he would try to ask Keiner, what really happened.

The car stops at one of the shops selling Shawarma, the driver gets off and buys some Shawarma at Keiner's request.

When Shawarma's order was ready, Juvel immediately ate it in a hurry. She was very hungry, getting pregnant made her starve quickly.

"Hmmm..." Juvel until unconsciously moaned because of the ease.

"You know when I'm done on the mission, me and Jullian will definitely look for Shawarma to celebrate" said Juvel, who opened up. Juvel told me about herself and Shawarma.

Keiner smiled faintly at Juvel's babbling, it was true that the girl was not a mobster in general.

"It turns out you talk a lot" Keiner commented later.

"I have to talk a lot because I'm a prospective cow farmer and milk seller, so I have to be smart to talk so that my milk sells later" said Juvel ambiguous.

At that moment there was a sauce stuck to Juvel's mouth, Keiner who saw it immediately grabbed Juvel's chin and cleaned the sauce using his lips.

Juvel was shocked to get such treatment. "Is this part of learning physical contact? Is this rehearsal before we kiss at the Altar?"

"All right, Mr. Arrogant. I'll return your kiss!"
